This area was pretty busy for a weeknight, but we took it in stride. Parking itself was not to difficult. although finding a spot close to the location took a little maneuvering, but once we were inside, it was absolutely worth it. Now let talk about Janet-AMAZING From beginning to end, Janet took her time with us. She explained every product one by one, what it did, the purpose of it and why we're using it, and how it would benefit us. There was no rushing and no feeling like we were just another appointment on her schedule What I appreciate most was Janet's attention to detail with my melanin rich skin. Every product she selected felt intentional and tailed to what I needed, this kinda care and knowledge makes a big difference. I was so happy my friend came along with me , becuase it made it seem like a girls evening. And of course we did not leavve empy handed , we purchased a few preodcuts to keep us glowing at home. I would definelty recommend LATHE LBC, but the standout for me was the custmer services, Janet was all THAT. She explained the benefits of each product, they key ingredients, and how to use them. All of Lather's products are made without synthetic fragrance, artificial colors, parabens or sulfates. So if you have sensitive skin or are just looking for cleaner beauty products, this brand may be just right for you! Their packaging is also made with sustainable materials, and that is important to me as a beauty consumer. I also appreciate the fact that most of their products are moderately priced. You can find comparable products at Sephora or Ulta priced at $10+ more. I purchased the Ultra Light Face Lotion which is a daily moisturizer that is a non-greasy formula which quickly absorbs into your skin. The Manuka Honey Body Butter smells amazing and I wanted something ultra moisturizing for my dry legs. It's a shame I don't live closer to this location, but there are several good stores & restaurants in this shopping center so I will make it back to 2nd & PCH and Lather to restock on beauty products.

Multiple experiences with her have led me back over and over again. 1. Bangs! She gave me the best bangs ever without me even knowing it! Going from having no bangs to straight across bangs is a huge move for me, and I was super hesitant to get bangs because I didn't want them to be too short. Once Rocio was done and I got used to them they were perfect and looked just like Bettie Page! 2. Makeup! Let me just tell you, this girl knows what she is doing. Have an idea? Bring it to her and she'll walk you through it. Sometimes we can envision ourselves looking like a photo or what not, but that might not always be what looks best, a thorough consultation and trust in her is key, true artist! (ask for temporary lashes with your makeup application, they're the bomb.com) 3. Styling! Rocio has done so many different styles on my hair is ridiculous! I'm one that is constantly changing and wanting to try new things. She's done beach wave curls, big volume curls, cute side braids, stylized ponytails etc.. I've love every single one of them. If something doesn't look right she lets you know and changes or alters the style to best fit your face shape. Overall Rocio is a true artist and if you have a special event or just want to get glammed up for an evening trust in her for your makeup and hair, you won't be disappointed. Oh and don't forget to bring what you are wearing, either in a photo or in person ;) Love you Rosie wish I still lived in SoCal but I will see you when I'm out that way!

HOAI REFUSES TO LET ME FINISH MY REMAINDER FACIALS AND ISNT OFFERING CREDIT FOR THE REMAINDER. HOAI ALSO SAID THEY CAN NO LONGER ASSIST ME BUT STILL HOLDING ONTO THE $500 FOR THE 2ND MEMBERSHIP I SHOULDVE GOTTEN BACK A MONTH AGO WHEN I HAVENT EVEN FINISHED MY FIRST MEMBERSHIP. HOAI CALLED ME INSANE AND THREATEN TO SUE ME FOR WRITING A REVIEW, ALSO WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR HARASSMENT WHEN I WAS JUST TRYING TO CLARIFY SHE WOULDNT HONOR WHAT SHE SAID WHEN I FIRST SIGNED UP! PLS SEE HER TEXTS TO ME IN THE PICTURES ATTACHED! I had my first facial with Hoai's facial program back in March at her fountain valley location and was advertised a bunch of services .. microdermabrasion, this machine that tightens your skin, photo facial, etc. and had a great experience.. At the end of the facial, Christine, who was the tech at the time stated if I become a "member" of their program, I'd get 3 months of facials for $450.. At the time i thought that was a great offer and enrolled immediately and received a certificate and signed a paper. Fast forward a couple months, I get a call from Hoai June 11th stating she needed money to get this location going, so she told me about this crazy good deal where if I paid $500 upfront, I'd get another 6 mo (instead of the usual 3 months). Hoai charged my card but I never signed anything nor did I get a Contract or certificate. She also never once mentioned to me the Fountain Valley location would close and she'd eventually only have clients get facials at this location only. I also noticed during this time I wasn't getting all the services I was advertised with in the beginning when I first enrolled and it was due to one of the machines breaking and her taking the other machines to this location.. meaning her clients at Fountain Valley wasn't getting what they signed up for. I had ask her to return my 2nd membership a month ago (she never mentioned to me eventually I wouldn't be able to be seen at Fountain Valley) and she said it would take about 2 weeks. A month later I'm texting her to schedule my remainder facials I have left from my FIRST membership, and that's when she finally texts a picture of this location and confirmed my appt time and to go here cause Fountain Valley closed. I told her it's too far (I'm from Long Beach) and I'd like my refund immediately due to her not mentioning anything about this new location. Hoai once again tells me she can't refund and that it's stated in the contract (I never signed a 2nd one and when I ask her for the copy of the "contract" she doesn't reply). Hoai also stated I can no longer finish my remainder facials from my FIRST membership and even called me insane! Just because I'm asking for a refund on the 2nd membership doesn't mean she can take back her words of stating I can still finish off the remainder of my first membership.. She didn't even offer credit for the remaining facials either and stated shed try to charge me for harassment with her attorney if I continued to text her when I was only trying to finish my remaining facials and was trying to clarify she wouldn't honor the rest anymore. Please please do yourself a favor and know what kind of business you're dealing with and the customer service Hoai provides to her clients for her facial membership program. For those of you who still decides to pay the lump-sum money upfront first and are "promised" an X amount of facials, please at least have something in writing regarding when you schedule your appts (even cancellations or reschedules) and also if she offers "free facials" or "credit" for a mishap or referring someone, please also have it written in some paper or text form.. Hoai is horrible at keeping track of how many facials clients have had, and also forgets when she tells you she's giving you a "bonus" or "free" one. I didn't think it'd have to come to this, but I'm so glad most of our conversations were thru text for me to prove what I'm saying. I mentioned to Hoai I would write a review share my experience and she even threaten to sue me for "defamation of her business".
