I'm so glad I found Robin!…read more I messaged her around 12:30 a.m. on a Friday morning, not expecting a response anytime soon, but she got back to me first thing that morning around 8:30 a.m. She was incredibly responsive and walked me through the entire booking process. I noticed she had availability later that same day, so I was able to schedule an appointment for 1:45 p.m. Even though I was worried I had waited too long to book and wasn't giving her much notice, she promptly confirmed my appointment and reassured me to still come in. From the moment I arrived, Robin was so warm, personable, and welcoming. As a mom, I especially appreciated that she was completely understanding about me bringing my 4 1/2-year-old with me. She even offered her a comfortable space to sit and wait while I had my hair done, which meant so much to me. I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair, but Robin had some great ideas and helped me figure out a good starting point. I absolutely love how my hair turned out! Not only is she talented, but she made the entire experience easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. I will definitely be going back to Robin in the future! ‍

She took it all in stride, answered every question, and thoroughly explained the process every step of the way. I absolutely LOVE how my hair turned out. Since my hair had been dyed many times over the years (and the last two times were a very dark brown), Robin explained why it was important not to over-process the bleach and risk permanent damage. I really appreciated her honesty and expertise. Instead of chasing an unrealistic result in one appointment, she prioritized the health and integrity of my hair--and it shows! My hair is still incredibly glossy, soft, and healthy while giving me the beautiful balayage I was hoping for. Thank you, Robin, for sharing your expertise and making me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. You've earned yourself a lifelong client... if you'll have me!

Because of her skill and care, I try to get an appointment with her when I visit OC, even though I live in NorCal. So far, very worth it! I think what makes it the most worth it are the little details in her service. She taught me how to style certain parts of my hair using the blow dryer, which I asked about because I liked the way it looked on a kdrama actress, LOL. Now I do it everyday and love it! She also provides great product recommendations. Lena's salon is petite and cute, but it feels spacious enough since she usually has one customer at a time. Lena has a gentle and sweet approach to hair, making recommendations without feeling like they're being forced on you. I really appreciate that. She has done a great job dying my mom's hair, which seems to be her speciality, but I've also really loved having my hair cut by her. The products she uses smell very good. I believe she is able to speak in Korean, Spanish, and English. Highly recommend her services!

I got a long layered haircut with some curtain bangs, and cost me $130. I only complain a little because I'm broke lol but otherwise I suppose it was worth it, because it's one of the better haircuts I've gotten in my life. Also, my hair was extremely long (butt length) but Alice handled it well and was also able to finish the haircut in about an hour. Would definitely come back in the future to see either alice or stacey! *note: at the time of my haircut (oct 2024) they were no longer working out of their DTF salon! they're now in brea.

Booking an appointment over the phone was easy and I appreciated her upfront pricing and time estimate. My perm plus haircut took about 5 hours total. Mai did a good job, however the color was just not what I had asked for. I reached out to her that same night to explain and politely asked if we could adjust the color and touch it up. The staff offered me snacks and Miriam especially was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable when washing my hair! Downsides, my hair does feel very dry and damaged now. They were pretty busy and my stylist was alternating between me and two other women, even though I had an appointment. It kind of felt like they forgot about me at times and they left the color and bleach in my hair for a very long time without checking on me regularly. Overall, I'm not sure that I will return because it is fairly expensive. But I do really appreciate Mai fixing my color!
