First of all, to the actors in this show, bless you! I could tell y'all put so much effort into your roles and I cannot imagine how exhausting doing this on repeat, in a large, crowded pre-show room and then moving to the stage is. For me, the script just didn't hit. I felt like we forced an idea just to get us to the part where a ton of incredible puppets and beast costumes could be revealed. The set design, costume design, and puppets were beautiful! And I am glad I saw it. But the story felt a bit stiff. I get we are starting with a circus so we can see some fun circus dancing and tricks, but hmm, I think I'd rather just have a more solid story. The pre-show room may have added to this heavy, sweaty feeling of the whole thing. Personally, I didn't mind waiting in the pre-show and was close to the stage where it begins, but there was a genuine feeling of unrest and unease they may have set a tone for the rest of the experience. I loved the attention to the details in the queue!

Disney should be checking its mirrors. Something just passed them at full speed. Le Cirque Arcanus is not "good for a theme park show." It is a legitimate, no-excuses, Broadway-level production dropped--almost disrespectfully--into the middle of a theme park. No spoilers. None. Because this is one of those rare experiences that deserves to hit you cold. But I will say this: the moment the show begins, you realize Universal isn't playing the side game anymore. This is choreography, staging, costuming, lighting, pacing, and performance discipline at a level that most parks don't even attempt. This isn't filler between rides. This is the main event. The performers are elite. Not smiling-through-it park talent--these are professionals who understand timing, presence, and how to command a room. There is real magic here. Not gimmicks. Not smoke-and-mirrors-for-kids. Actual "how the hell did that just happen?" moments layered into a production that respects its audience's intelligence. The staging is bold. The storytelling is confident. The show doesn't rush, doesn't pander, and doesn't apologize for being ambitious. It knows exactly what it is--and executes it with terrifying precision. Savage truth time: If The Walt Disney Company is still coasting on nostalgia and safe choices, Universal just threw a gauntlet straight through the castle gates. Le Cirque Arcanus is worth the price of admission to Epic Universe all by itself. Full stop. If you stripped the park down to just this show, I'd still tell people to buy the ticket. Universal didn't just raise the bar. They moved it to a different building.

This circus is located inside the wizarding world of Harry Porter. From outside it seemed a small place to me, especially in the beginning for first 5 minutes, everyone gathers in a hall where some of the characters do stage play. But then the doorway opens for actual theater that easily sits few hundred people. The main stage show runs for about 15 minutes. It is a storyline involving sustaining earth. Throughout the performance, I had several wow moments as I was not expecting incredible acrobatics, full set change over, and showering the crowd with rain mist and snow. The surprise of the broadness of the show and performances actually made it more amusing to me. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Epic Universe.

This is a really fun show! I ended up watching one of the show times towards later in the afternoon on a Sunday for the Le Cirque Arcanus show. It's located in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic land in Epic Universe. It's an immersive stage show and is the first full scale live theater experience in a Wizarding World environment! The show has live performers, aerial acrobatics, puppetry, and special effects. The narrative is around the ringmaster Skender who has stolen the suitcase of Newt Scamander. The circus assistance Gwenlyn intervenes to rescue the creatures from Skender's plan. The show uses it's location, a circus tent structure inside the land. Inside the theater, it's much larger, more immersive. The walk through queue and preshow corridor is pretty cool. There are sideshow booths and oddities to explore on the way to the main performance. The main show runs approximately 30 minutes, including the preshow. I'd recommend coming earlier before the show start time if you want to get a good spot for the pre show. I was towards the back and had a little bit difficulty seeing the stage. The theater seats inside the room were great though! I'd recommend sitting towards the center block area to view the entire stage and the special effects! I highly recommend seeing this show if you're in the Harry Potter area! Make sure to check the Universal app for show times!

Located in the Harry Potter area of the Epic Universal park, this is a show that talks about Fantastic Beasts suitcase theft by a circus and the Newt Scamander rescue and live actors and action mixed with screen effects. Interesting show for the kids, not too scary, and a lot of folks that can pack the benches inside. A cool waiting area with the circus tent and paraphernalia. A bit crowded on the entry and people pushing to get to the seating. A lot of waiting around - get there about 20min early from the show to get into the group line that then waits (Express Pass moves through a separate line).

What an incredible show! I won't spoil it for you but the stage craft was mind blowing. The performances were excellent. Definitely worth the wait!

Universal addresses both of these goals in a spectacular fashion! Service staff is fantastic and the ride lines go quickly. I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

We had a beautiful day to visit and smiled throughout the day. Some of our best moments were walking through the various city streets and seeing musical performances and dancing. The locker areas for cramped, but I appreciated how many of the wait queues were indoors, keeping us cooler and away from the rain. The Harry Potter sections were amazing, just amazing. I couldn't have imagined how it would have felt being in the middle of the space. Restaurants, both sit down and quick service, were scattered throughout the park. I loved that we didn't have to worry plan in advance to get a spot at either. They have a convenient parking garage where the first three floors are paid parking, while the fourth floor and above are free. That was a nice bonus and made getting there easy. I was actually on my way to a restaurant, so exploring the park wasn't part of the plan. But once I walked inside, I couldn't help but look around. There were restaurants, food vendors, candy shops, drink stands, and so much more. The atmosphere was lively, fun, and full of energy. It looked like the perfect place for families, couples, or anyone just looking to spend a few hours enjoying themselves. This is a short review because I didn't get the chance to experience everything Icon Park has to offer. However, based on my first impression alone, I can definitely say I'll be back. All three of these together took up about two hours and then we were able to go to Cafe tu tu tango to get a bite to eat. This was a great half day experience while we were visiting Orlando. There was a parking garage and parking was super easy. By that time we left around 8:30 PM there were so many cars, but when we first got there at about 5 PM there were tons of spots. They do have parking spots you can pay for in the lower levels so it seems like if you're willing to pay there will always be parking. If you want free parking, you need to go earlier because this seems to be popular for nightlife. I always appreciate when there's so many attractions together that you can walk to. This place has quite a few restaurants, some shops and the attractions all in a contained area. It was very clean and when we came, there was a huge police presence, because apparently a couple weeks before there was hundreds of teenagers that descended to the area and fought. So the place was doing a really good job making sure that everything was safe. This is a place for both families and non-families alike.

Its sole ride, Escape from Gringotts I gave two stars as I found it very lackluster compared to the two Potter themed thrill rides over at Islands of Adventure. But the theming in this section of the park is absolutely phenomenal and highly immersive enough to make this an easy 4 stars. The Knight Bus was fun enough for both my sister and I to get pictures by it with its friendly steward and his appropriate accent. I missed the low key entrance on our first go round. As I said I watched the movies in a cloud of smoke and didn't realize it was this secret fandom entrance/exit but the throngs passing through tipped us off. The greater density with everything packed so tightly together and its separation from the other themed areas of Universal Studios Florida makes this Potter themed area more impressive than its counterpart over at Islands of Adventure- even without a magnificent castle. The alleys, the shops, the hand painted signage, the dragon perched high shooting out that massive flame... I can only imagine how hard this hits if you're a Potter fanatic. And though Escape from Gringotts was pretty weak sauce in my estimation the queue and the theming before the ride experience was top notch. They really broke the bank on this, as with the great train ride in. Maybe if I ever go back I'll watch a Potter movie or two sober.

I walked through the warp pipe entrance and into the land, and that was a genuine moment. The colors, sounds, and scale of everything around me hit immediately in a way that was hard to prepare for even though I knew what to expect. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the music threading through the entire area kept the immersion intact as I moved from one section to the next. Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness is the ride to prioritize and the one that generates the most excitement in the land. I arrived at park open and went straight here, which was the right strategy as the wait times built quickly. Mario Kart is the other major attraction and delivers on the concept, with the Power Up Band integration adding a competitive layer that makes it more than just a passive ride experience. The Power Up Band is worth purchasing before entering the park if I want the full experience. It unlocks interactive elements and mini games scattered throughout the land that let me collect coins, hit question blocks, and track my score on the app. Without it I could still enjoy the rides and the theming, but a meaningful portion of what makes the land special is tied to having one. At around fifty dollars it is an added cost on top of an already expensive day, but for a Nintendo fan it justifies itself quickly. Weekday visits made a noticeable difference in wait times and gave me more room to engage with the interactive elements without feeling rushed. The land rewards people who slow down and explore rather than just moving through it as efficiently as possible, and there is enough packed into the space that I could spend a solid chunk of the day here without feeling like I had exhausted it.
