This time I was dropping off a rental car at CDG and going back to Paris for my last night - - so naturally I booked LCAF. If you are starting from Terminal 2 E or F in CDG, there is a nice little waiting lounge on the ground level in between the two terminals. You can certainly purchase tickets there, but they have a few monitors to show the times of all the buses. Make sure you are at the stop when you need to be, cause the drivers do not wait long before they take off. Again, very comfortable & affordable airport transfers. Highly recommend! read more

Awful. I bought my ticket online last night for use today. Received an email that said "print this .pdf or save it" - alas, a glitch it didn't save --BUT! I got an emailed receipt that said "please save this ticket" AND with a merchant purchase code! So i figured the counter crew could help! wrong. Sorry Madam ., what? I have used AirFrance (now called Les Cars) twice in my trips to Paris. I have to say that my experience was generally excellent. However, after purchasing a round trip ticket for 29 euros, I was only able to use half of it. On the date of my return flight, the workers were on strike to protest gay marriage. This required me to take a taxi to another bus stop and get charged another 17 euros. Needless to say, this was a bad travel day and left me frustrated with Les Cars. When we arrived at CDG, we went down to get our baggage but apparently the stroller is with oversized bag pick up. Walk out of custom and you will see sign on the right for Tax, the left for train and center for bus. You can pay for the ticket via the counter at 18/adult or pay once the bus arrived. It's about an hour to Paris. Highly recommend to wait and get your ticket at the counter or pay via the Kios/bus. read more

I am a regular client on the Air France buses, and the prices are ok although I wish they were less expensive. I am writing to say that on our last trip from SF to Paris, we stopped in Gare Montparnasse to take a train to Chartres and we had to rush as the train was about to leave. A few minutes later as we were halfway between Paris and Versailles I asked my wife if she had seen my backpack, and we both realized that after 11 hours on the air, I must have been so exhausted that I had left my "precious" backpack on the bus on the seat by the window. Calling from the train got me nowhere, so I left the train in Versailles rushed to Paris, and rushed to the Les Cars bus stop at Montparnasse, and the workers as well as the staff in charge of the operation made a couple of calls and located the bag. Luckily I had a red Royal Air Maroc special tag (with no names!) but that in itself was a confirmation that it was my bag, because one of the workers remembered seeing that tag. I waited three hours for one of the buses to come to the train station, but when you discover that your camera, your i pad, assorted documents, eye glasses etc are all within that beat up bag you thank the Almighty and you give 5 stars to trustworthy people running a safe and good-looking operation with plenty of white buses around Paris between two airports and plenty of key stops. read more

They have posters in the airport promoting the convenience of buying tickets online. But don't mistake it for online purchases you would made anywhere else in the developed world. The online flow isn't intended for you traveler types (god forbid you appear at an airport) unless you travel with a portable battery powered printer. The 20 euro tickets you buy are not valid unless printed even when it's not written anywhere along the shopping/transactional flow of the website. So not all websites are well thought out and user friendly and you get forced to buy another set of tickets which happens but instead of being in the business of serving customers, what ensued was a big 'a-ha! we got you!' moment for them where their staff (whom you have to pay to speak to) insist that they can't refund you because you fell for it and it was your fault. Talk about maximising short term gain instead of building a sustainable business. A better strategy would just be to drive to the wilderness and hold everyone for ransom money. read more

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Figure your way out via train. Overpriced, rude, inflexible. I work in high end travel, with much more restricted capacity on our aircraft and we are more flexible. They operate multiple trips an hour, so they are not worried about maintaining minimum loads on their buses, just on getting your cash Our travel plans had to change unexpectedly more than 2 weeks out from our arrival, and were required to move our hotel to the opposite side of the city, best they could tell me was to ride my $70 tickets which now put me 30 minutes from my accommodations. Their own English translation of their FAQ's states that a refund is possible. Now i am stuck with $70 tickets to no where. Will be disputing with Amex. read more

It was a day where Paris had a public transport strike but the buses to the airport were still scheduled to run. I was at the Champs Elysees station and waited for two hours - there were buses coming to and fro from Orly airport, and buses coming from Charles de Gaulle airport; however on asking the drivers of the buses, we were constantly reassured that a bus was coming. After two hours of waiting a staff member from Le Bus Direct came to tell us there wouldn't be any buses running to the airport due to a mechanical breakdown. Wouldn't recommend this company - very poor communication and ended up missing my flight. read more

I took their bus from ORLY to CDG on March 28, 2018. The bus came and I didn't have to wait for a long time at ORLY and it did take me to CDG after about 1.5 hours due to rush hour traffic. My main issue with them is that I got charged twice from their on-line booking system for one ticket. The first time I tried to book via my smartphone at my hotel. Since after I input my credit card info the screen froze and I never got to the next page confirming my booking, I thought it didn't go through. So I logged on to my laptop instead and started over again and successfully purchased a ticket for 21 Euros and promptly received an email in my inbox confirming the purchase of one ticket. But later after I showered and checked my email again I noticed a 2nd email confirmation confirming I bought another ticket for 21 Euros. I immediately got on their website under my account to see if I can cancel one of the tickets. However their website doesn't allow for cancelling ticket already purchased. So I immediately emailed their customer service to inform a mistake of double booking and charging me twice for one ticket. I got an email response the next day saying they will look into this. But to this day, it's been more than a month but I still haven't got any response nor have I got a refund back. So basically I paid 42 Euros from ORLY to CDG for a bus ride that took almost two hours. I probably could have spent about the same amount taking Uber or taxi but have gotten my destination faster. I did call my credit card company to inform the mistake but so far haven't had any resolutions. I figured Le Bus Direct probably is ignoring my CC's inquiry or something. This is bad customer service. I probably will not use their service again. UPDATE: May 3, 2018. After posting my review, two days later, I saw that an adjustment was posted to my credit card to credit back for the amount of one ticket. Not sure whether this was due to my review or my credit card company happened to be able to reach them to resolve this. Anyway, I updated my rating to 3 stars for the convenience to catch their bus as they are right outside the terminal at ground transportation section. You just need to be careful when booking on line. You can also pay for the ticket on the bus but I believe its a little more expensive. read more

Pick your return tickets directly online for €26 or a one-way at €15.50. Make sure to print it, the bus driver won't accept it otherwise. Calculate a 5-10-minute walk from the metro/rer station. You're better off taking the 11 euro train into Paris. We paid 31 euro each for a return trip to the Eiffel Tower from the airport. Both trips were very late and took a half hour longer than advertised. The worst part is that you must hold onto your little slip of paper to get onto the bus. Mine fell out of my pocket while loading my bag and waiting for the late driver. I showed my credit card statement proving my purchase, but in the end I had to pay another 19 euros to stay on the bus. Never again!!! What a way to conclude a European backpacking trip. read more

Bought ticket online. It didn't work on the phone but I used my laptop (think it had to do with enhanced security enabled on my credit card.). The ticket came as email with attached PDF. So inconsistent! 9:51 bus shows up, let's people off and continues to drive away. Next bus shows up, let's people off and a cluster of people get on. There's no "line" and is completely unorganized. Now we've been waiting almost an hour for another bus. Save yourself time and order an Uber or Cab! Yes you might spend a couple of euros more, but if you have multiple people it'll be cheaper. I have taken Le Bus (formerly Air France Bus) several times over the last few years both from and to the airport. It's is super easy and a good price vs a taxi. The bus runs every 30 min and there are 3-4 lines depending on where you are going in the city. Just follow signs in the arrival area - go outside and buy a ticket using your credit card in the machine in the waiting area - then wait for the bus. Google it ahead of time to see where the stops are and if they are close to where you are heading and what line you should be taking read more

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. More than terrible experience and Le Bus Direct do not care. Take note of all the negative reviews! Even with the transport strikes, I would strongly advise anyone slightly debating using Le Bus to use the trains instead. Here's my experience: Firstly me and my girlfriend had to wait for 1hr and 30mins to actually get on the bus at CDG airport. Two buses we put our cases on and when we reached the driver, we were told there was not more room. We then had to persuade him not to drive off and open the luggage hold for us to get our cases off. Once we were finally on, our way, after buying return tickets to the Eiffel Tower from the bus driver, we arrived at the Arch De Triumphe, to be told that the bus would be terminating there. We, along with many others, were wanting to go to the Eiffel Tower bus stop, and we tried to communicate with the driver but he simply pointed to the top of the tower and advised us to walk in that direction. Despite actually buying tickets to the Eiffel Tower and the driver not saying anything, we were left stranded in the middle of Paris, on our first visit there, with two suitcases and no one to advise us where to go. We watched the bus drive off with the Eiffel Tower sign still on the front of it. Then on the way back to the airport, hoping the first trip was an anomaly, we got on the bus at 16:30 and arrived at the airport at 18:50. Yes, over 2 hours for an advertised 60/70 minute journey. It was rush hour, and it is understandable to get caught in the traffic, but what isn't understandable is the driver stopping for 30 minutes for no apparent reason. When we returned home, we sent in a complaint form and after two weeks, we are still waiting for a response. I have tried phoning them too, but after 1 minute and 30 seconds, the call ends. Le Bus Direct is a great idea but is very poorly executed. If this is your only option, please don't expect to get where you want to go in the time frames advertised. Give yourself at least an extra hour on top of what you need, especially on the way to the airport. read more

Tried to take the bus from Porte Maillot to CDG on May 30. Arrived at 0805, but no bus arrived until 0845. It did not have space for all the passengers at the stop, and the attendant did not know when the next bus would arrive. We wound up taking a taxi because our flight was scheduled for 1130 and we did not want to risk missing our flight back to the USA. So much for the claim of regular service every 20 minutes! A few days earlier, we took the bus from Orly to Etoile, and it was fine. 4 stars for the Orly bus, but no stars for the CDG bus - that's why I give Les Cars Air France just 2 stars. read more

We took the bus from RLY to CDG on February 11th. At our stop at Terminal 2EF it turned out another passenger took our suitcase and left theirs behind. Le Bus Direct asked us to wait for 2h, assuming the other passenger would notice their mistake and return the suitcase. This however did not happen, resulting in us continuing to AMS without our luggage. This where things got worse. They wrongly informed me they found the suitcase. I had to pay for the return shipment, while they don't have a luggage system in place at all. There is no check whatsoever who takes which suitcase. On the day of shipment it turned out there was no luggage, or rather, it was the suitcase of the other passenger (same model, different color, tag, etc.). For five weeks I have been told they tried finding my suitcase without luck. When I told them I want to file a claim and no longer wait, they gave me the other passenger's details, which were on the suitcase ("maybe you can find more information"). To my GREAT surprise, those detailes included a PHONE NUMBER. It took me literally FIVE minutes to contact the other passenger and find out what happened. Now, two weeks later, the suitcase is returned home by Air France. It would have been less than a week if Le Bus Direct contacted the passenger immediately, such that my suitcase wouldn't have been flown between several airports for no reason. I will NEVER use this company again. Besides the above, the timing is rediculous. On the way to our destination, CDG to RLY for transfer, the bus was perfectly on time and frequent. However on the return, when the suitcase was lost, we waited for 1.5 hours before a bus actually stopped (several drove by with same line number, empty) to transfer us. We had sufficient transfer time, but many people did not accomodate for this. Saying the bus runs every 20-30 minutes and only having one in 1.5 hours is unacceptable if your main purpose is to transfer people from one flight to another! read more

You'll never get me onboard an Air France flight again (although I have pleasant memories of flying on their Concorde as a teenager) as I think they've got safety issues. However I've got nothing against Les Cars Air France and it proved to help me out of a tight spot (if quite expensive). I booked and printed my tickets online from the UK as I was visiting Burgundy by flying to Paris and catching the train from Gare du Lyon. My BA flight arrived at Charles de Gaulle ahead of schedule and after giving someone a light for their cigarette asked where I caught this coach from and proceeded when informed. The first coach was full and I was disappointed because I thought the next coach (which I had planned to travel on) would be cutting it a bit fine for my train booking. I walked to the Metro station. I would literally have been waiting for an hour to buy tickets for the train and so in a panic ran back through Terminal 2 and fortunately managed to get one of the last seats on Les Cars Air France L4. Made it just in time for my train to Dijon. Good job I used this method of transport from Charles de Gaulle and booked online in the UK. read more

Unless you have all day to waste don't use this service. You will wait over an hour for this supposedly once every half hour service. The staff are unhelpful and just say"it's not my job" if you try and get any help from them. If you are going to the airport you risk missing your flight. If you want to try and use the service, don't buy a ticket before you see the bus arrive. That way if you get sick of waiting you can try another option. There is no way to get a refund once you have brought the ticket ... The staff just refuse to help. read more

Worst attitude by the driver, my goodness!! No one, along me, was able to figure out what terminal he was at (becomes a challenge when he stops at 5 of them at the airport). He does not speak a word of English (all he had to learn was 3 number and 5 letters to be exact), and beyond all, his grumpiest ever attitude is inexplicable. Be aware that Le Bus CDG airport shuttle is not always a completely reliable way of getting into Paris. We were a group of 5 recently arrived at CDG and waited for over an hour for Le Bus to arrive. When it did it was very full and only a few people pushed their way on. There is no organised queuing and Le bus employees don't care who had been waiting the longest. Luckily we hadn't bought tickets in advance from the machine (it wouldn't accept our credit cards) and instead took the RER train into Paris. The train is cheaper and totally reliable. read more

I wander why foreigners still want to visit our country despite of our total lack of welcome sense..... Today back in Roissy I decided to take the former "AirFrance" bus to go home instead of the usual taxi. The company has now become "lebusdirect.com" operated by Aéroport de Paris. First of all I had to wait over 45 mn to get my bag (I have no idea whether there could be a more inefficient airport in the world, any suggestion ?).... and another 20 mn to get on a line 4 bus heading to gare Montparnasse via gare de Lyon which is close to our house. On the way the driver receives several phone calls from his boss, and suddenly anounces in a barely understandable french that the bus will not stop in gare de Lyon...because of the Gay Pride congesting the traffic and the police.... (wellcome back to France, last time there were strikes....) Consequently we all ended up in gare Montparnasse! Don't you think that they could have anticipated the situation by warning the customers before getting on the bus ? Do you believe that upon arrival some assistance, some help was made available to travellers ? No, nothing, nada, que dalle .....! I was ashamed for the 5 foreign persons who were totally lost, dropped at the wrong station with their bags on the pavement. I complained to the driver (knowing that he just executed what he was told...). He could only give me a flyer about the bus company with a phone number to call. My conclusion is use whatever other alternatives there are: RATP buses, RER railways, Uber TAXIS, or a friend to pick you up, rent a car, but BOYCOTT THIS COMPANY. We caught the les cars/air france bus on the 23rd.Sept.2012 at Orly Airport with instructions that that particular bus would take us to Gare Montparnasse where we would change buses to go to Gare de Lyon.We (paid Euro 12 each) and reached Montparnasse ok and waited for the next bus to Gare De Lyon.However when it arrived and our luggage had been put on board and we went to pay we were told by the female driver that the bus would not go to Gare De Lyon.This was contrary to all our own research and advice of others at the airport and the first bus driver. We were then told by one of the ground staff after he had words with the driver that we would be best to go to the bus station around the corner and take the local bus 91 to Gare De Lyon.This we did but with 2 large suitcases, a computer bag,a back- pack and 2 pieces of hand luggage it was a struggle to say the least with having to battle with prams, and shopping strollers on the local bus.However,we managed to get to our destination no thanks to air France and wouldn't recommend them with their attitude . read more
