We ate here during the week after Christmas. We were enticed by the lovely decor and the mention of mussels on the outside menu. However, we were told by the disdainful waiter than no mussels were available. I ordered a bottle of Tavel which I was also told wasn't available. The waiter then "suggested" other, more expensive options and turned up his nose when I ordered Côte de Provence as I thought the wine was already overpriced We ordered foie gras (adequate) and goat's cheese salad, which came without toast and we had to ask for bread, which is usually placed very quickly on the table. Both then had scallops, which were totally inedible, rubbery things with a sauce more appropriate to a meat dish. No concern whatsoever from the waiter when our full plates were cleared away. The service was unwelcoming and disdainful throughout. I live locally but this restaurant won't be added to my list of local favourites. Only good point was the decor . read more
