The nail salon itself is very clean and safe with plexiglass installed dividing every customer from each nail technician at each pedicure chair and manicure station. There are so many colors to choose from and they have dozens of options from regular polish to gel nail polish and powder polish! Unlike many other salons during this time, La Belle stayed at the same price which is extremely reasonable! The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, especially the owner! When I put up a review for Le Belle on Google the salon responded: "Hi Tracey, We had not spoken to you regarding your gel polish. We believe you've mistaken our nail salon with another." When in fact they did speak to me and I am not mistaken. On top of that my photos and review just keeps disappearing. I no longer trust Google reviews. With that being said... I got gel nails with gel polish and a couple days later the gel started peeling right off. Gel should last for about two weeks. When I called the salon about the issue the male receptionist was very unaccommodating. I got all the gel off and I needed to repaint my nails. I told them I was willing to pay. They did not rectify the situation. If you're a fan of children's polish that peels off this is just the salon for you! read more

Do not come here unless you want to get scolded by the head nail technician, I had been coming here for years, and my woman unfortunately left as I believe, so did the owner, George... Well, this new woman in charge I don't even know what her name was, scolded me for not flexing my foot properly when I was on the foot rest. I asked her not to talk to me in that tone, and she did it again, she got angry with me, because I wasn't paying attention because I was on my phone! She asked me to get off my phone! The only reason why I had been coming here was because of my girl Rosa and proximity to my home. I told the woman upon leaving that I will never return! I wanted a gel pedicure yesterday and needed an emergency appointment and ended up at this horrible place. I also got a gel manicure which was okay, my tech was really rude though. Another nail tech (Hispanic lady) came to do my toes and as she was drilling the gel off I can feel the hot burning sensation on my toes. I told her if she can please slow it down because she's burning me, and she said okay. Just to put it back up while I was not paying attention. I literally had to tell her to stop after doing my right foot and got up and left after paying for my manicure. Nonetheless this lady literally drilled off 3 of my toenails, and now all I have left is raw skin that is red. If anyone is going here (I hope not after reading this review) please do not let this lady touch you, she literally looked confused as she was drilling my nails. It was to closing time too, and she was rushing.. but this is peoples health here. If you guys are in a rush or hurry to go home, this facility needs to stop taking customers after a certain time. Now I barely have nails on 3 of my toes and cannot get gel for a while. I will never step foot in here again. I have been here a couple of times because its convenient when I need a service on my lunch break at work. The problem is they're really slow and will take other walk-ins while they are working on me and split their time between us in order to save them time. I've been going to this place for over 8 years. George used to run it very well & efficient. Whoever owns it now isn't doing a good job. This place used to always be packed but now it's not and I totally see why. The new girls that work here are pretty rude, they can be misleading with the prices. I got a regular pedicure when I used to get a decent massage and they used to scrub stuff off my feet now I gotta pay extra for every little thing now even though the pedicure cost has gone up in price. It makes no sense to me how things here got more expensive but the value and quality of the services have completely reduced. I won't be coming back, I won't even let my family members come here. I had many compliments on them, after getting completely scammed at Empire Salon in Bay Shore I was very hesitant of returning to a nail salon because of how awful of an experience I had. It took 8 months for me to work up the trust to return to a salon and I was very happy with the result. The acrylic nail set I got was relatively inexpensive and it was so nice to relax and not worry about getting scammed I recommended this place to all of my friends and they have come here and have said the same things I have after my experience here. This is definitely my favorite nail place for many reasons. The first and most important is it they're very professional. The work that they do always looks perfect. And I get compliments all the time. Secondly they are the nicest people. They always remember my name. George always comes and gives me a hugs. Rosie helps my mom and always treats her with so much respect and friendly courtesy. And they always have our boxes ready. Her nail painting needs some work she leaves paint all along the cuticles but otherwise did a decent gel manicure and pedicure. By far one of THE BEST nail salons I've ever been to. I come here about once a month to get a gel manicure. The manicure lasts SUCH a long time!!! I could go longer than a month but it starts to grow out and I don't like how that looks. They have such a huge collection of gel colors, it takes me ten minutes every time to pick which color I want this time. The the girls (and guy) that do your nails are so sweet and so professional.
