They are the kind of cooks and bakers and family that you want to support, especially in this part of town which (like a lot of the area) is still reeling from that b**ch Katrina. A friend from Ocean Springs recommended the Le Bakery for excellent bahn mi sandwiches, breads, pastries, and boba teas. I had the pork and meatball bahn mi and it was like heaven. The freshest bread and veggies, it is making my mouth water just thinking about it. I also got so excited when I saw they had fresh made Banh Bao steamed buns filled with pork. I hadn't had one in years, and it was definitely the best filling of a Bao I have ever had. So glad to finally have tried this Vietnamese cafe! Very pleased with the bahn mi and chocolate mint boba drink! The boba pearls were softer than my preference (I like them partially frozen), but the great prices, menu/selection and esp kid area in the back made up for it! Comfy area with toys make a great spot for parents to enjoy their meal/etc while the kiddos play with the toys. Will def be back! read more

Being Vietnamese, I have tried multiple locations that serve bánh mì. Le Bakery is not the place to go if you are craving bánh mì, but their bakery goods were good. Heavenly Baked Goods at Le Bakery As of the time I last visited the place (Oct. 8, 2016), the surrounding area was under construction. However, I didn't really mind. The ongoing construction process could not match up to the tempting smell of freshly cooked pastry that fills my senses everytime I get to Le Bakery. The establishment is filled with a nice selection of baked goods and desserts. The food gives me a very comfortable home-cooked feeling. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Le Bakery is a popular stop for lunch. Most food items are just around $10 more or less. My personal favorites would be the Thit Nuong Nem Nuong and the Avocado Boba. Thit Nuong Nem Nuong is a great choice. It's a sub sandwich filled with grilled pork, garlic, and lemongrass. Their Thai tea is also good but I find it too sweet for my personal taste. If you're planning to stop by at Le Bakery and you got a vehicle, let me tell you in advance that there's limited parking. But what's a limited parking compared to the wide satisfaction you're gonna get from their baked goods. Those things are heavenly! Would I eat there again? Of course! I'm an avid fan. read more

I am a regular customer here, because I usually come for the turnover and croissants. However, the customer service is quite awful. This time around was honestly one of the worst experiences I had there. I try to let it pass because I figured, we all have bad days at work, so it's okay, but it doesn't mean you have to mistreat your customers. The front lady who usually takes my order is extremely rude and impatient, and has such an ugly attitude, that it's hard to even look pass her being rude. Every single time I come there, she is always giving such an attitude, and me and my family who comes there to support, is tired of it. Be nice to other people because you don't know what they're going through, so to the front lady, please be more nicer to your customers, because we aren't even doing anything to you to give us such a bad experience every time. read more
