I love Le Bakery!! I have been here many times when my sister lived in Biloxi for 6 yrs. They have flavored loaves of bread (the jalapeno cheddar is wonderful), bubble teas, vietnamese po-boys (lemongrass pork po-boy is my fave), pastries (it's a bakery duh), filled croissants (get the smoked turkey and cheese croissant), baklava and more. They will also create the perfect cake for you whether if it's for a birthday or your wedding. They made us a cake for my nephew's birthday back in 2009 and it was amazing!! I grew up on these types of Vietnamese sandwiches, so when I moved to Biloxi, I had an implicit desire to avoid eating here at all costs. I would come in and buy other things - chips, drinks, baked goods, coffee - but I was never compelled to buy a sandwich. My coworkers however, apparently love the place, and would often suggest this place for group lunches. I could only decline so many times, so eventually came in to eat here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Vietnamese sandwiches here (banh mi) are extremely good, on par with and arguably even better than Vietnamese sandwiches you might find in say Houston or California. I actually couldn't believe it. There's a little something extra they add that just makes the sandwich so flavorful. I'd give the place five stars except that the layout is a bit awkward so it's not the best place to sit and have your meal, especially with a group. Also, this is a family run business - a mother and her daughters. The mother is a sweetheart and one of the daughters is quite pleasant. It is obvious though that the other daughter feels she has better things to do with her time, and so is quite short with customers. Although she's never been short to me, I don't appreciate seeing her snark directed at others. Overall though, this place is a Biloxi institution. read more

This place has an extremely loyal customer base. On the weekends there is a line formed outside before they are open of people waiting to get in. All their mouths are watering as they talk about their favorite dish. It is worth the wait. I love their pork pie, the coconut chicken curry sandwich, the pastries and fresh baked bread. What?! Vietnamese sandwiches and Boba all in one place IN BILOXI OF ALL PLACES?! Why hasn't anyone tell me about this sooner? I miss having bahn mi so readily available in the Bay Area. Too bad I discovered this place right before I left to go to my next command. It's even more rare here (Groton, CT). T_T What I can remember from this place was they had very fresh fruit smoothies, cute and delicious looking cakes (my friend said the german chocolate was awesome), and they had some some pork buns, sticky rice desserts sitting on the counter. Today they get only one star for the crappy customer service and the mean Asian lady that was behind the counter. I ordered my regular, milk tea with coffee jelly. The sweet mom at the front didn't understand my order, so I patiently waited while the other two ladies behind the counter were helping other customers so I could explain to them what I wanted. One of the workers named Kim recognized me and said she would help me as soon as she could. Unfortunately the other Asian lady helped me, and when I asked for a regular milk tea, she told me condescendingly that she didn't know what flavor that was. She then proceeded to point at the menu. This lady was rude, condescending, and acted like she either hated her job or was annoyed at helping other customers. I now know what the other yelpers are talking about when they talk about the rude customer service. I've been fortunate to have other workers take my order the past couple times I've been here. I usually come about once or twice a week, and I bring others with me. Don't think I'll be coming back here anymore, nor will I be recommending this place to my friends on base, or any other people I know. I would hate for my friends to come across that mean Asian lady again. Their customer service killed it for me today. I don't really need refined carbs and diabetes that bad anyway. read more

While visiting my mom for Thanksgiving, she turned me on to Le Bakery. Apparently the chocolate filled croissants are suppose to be the BOMB! She said that they open at 8:30 and there's always a line. Well, there were people waiting. Sadly, they didn't have any of the croissants we wanted. So, I went for the ham & cheese filled croissant. The croissant was moist, tender and flaky with a slight crunch... just how it's suppose to be. The only part I didn't like about it was the cheese. It was American. Not very tasty. It should be made with Gruyere or Swiss. Most of the others were there for Le Bakery's bread. The wall says it all!! I've always thought that the combination of French and Vietnamese cuisine was the best of two completely different worlds. Next time I'm in town, I will def come back and try one of their Vietnamese sandwiches. read more

Decided to try this place on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! My friend and I went for lunch and everything was AMAZING! We had two different types of Vietnamese po-boys (pork and curried chicken). The flavors were phenomenal! The curry tasted like it had been marinating and simmering for days. We also had the pecan sticky bun and cream cheese danish. They were, quite possibly, the best I've ever had. The texture of the doughs were perfect and the toppings were so flavorful. We also had the Vietnamese coffee, which packs a punch, but was so delicious! I'm so glad we found this place!! A new go-to spot, for sure! A Vietnamese bakery with a huge selection of breads in all sizes, pastries, banh mi, and Asian drinks. The pastries and bread are fresh made and pretty good though not the best. I would recommend the chocolate Danish and sticky roll. The banh mi's are extra stuffed and filling. The drinks were surprisingly good, especially the smoothies, given their large menu. read more

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, Le Backer is a nice hidden surprise. Upon parking I could immediately smell the fresh bread from outside the building. My main mission was to pick up a grilled pork bahn mi; even though I don't normally eat sweets, I decided to grab two turnovers. The bahn mi was very good, the meat was flavorful with crisp pickled veggies. The turnovers I selected were the guava cream cheese and the raspberry cream cheese... they were extremely good. The turnover were flaky beyond belief with large crystals of sugar atop the pastry. The filling was a perfect balance of cream cheese and fruit. Even if you are just passing through Biloxi I would definitely suggest this spot for a nice pastry in the morning or try one of their bahn mi for an early lunch. So glad to finally have tried this Vietnamese cafe! Very pleased with the bahn mi and chocolate mint boba drink! The boba pearls were softer than my preference (I like them partially frozen), but the great prices, menu/selection and esp kid area in the back made up for it!
