Worst service anywhere in the area and among the worst I've experienced in the entire country. The Vietnamese food is a 3 out of 5. Service is a 1 at best. There is a long list of legitimate complaints. No refills on water because the server is too lazy to get her ass or phone or whatever? That's every server there. God forbid you ask for an extra to go container for you leftover pho. Always screwing up the order or acting like they don't understand what you are saying. Exactly how long has this restaurant been open in the United States under your ownership? In the last 3 months I have dined there 6 times with the same result each time. Hello from the dude who came in, sat down and knew exactly what he wanted without the menu. As compared to the table of three that appeared to have no idea and took 20 minutes. My Pho Ga was delicious. The broth was rich and the chicken was proper torn chunks of white meat. Noodles were soft. The plate of fixings had all the usuals - basil, cilantro, bean sprouts and such. A squirt of sriracha, mix it all through and I had the kind of spicy chicken noodle soup my momma would make... if my momma was Vietnamese. We came here since it was recommended as one of the best places to get Vietnamese food in the area. It was very busy when we arrived. Luckily, there was a table large enough for our party. There were two servers working and one looked inexperienced as though there just for an extra pair of hands. After they took our order, we waited for quite awhile. As I surveilled the room, I saw the majority of tables still waiting for their food to be brought out. I observed who were there before us and those who came after us. I saw those who were seated after us, had their orders taken, and then leave the restaurant. It seemed everyone in the restaurant was waiting for at least 30 minutes or more for their food. I felt really bad for the patrons and for those working at the restaurant. For a place that's popular (obviously by the amount of traffic the restaurant is receiving), I would think the restaurant had it in order at this point. The canh chua or catfish soup was tasty. It was sweet and sour and all the veggies that belongs in the soup. It didn't have the star of anise or cinnamon taste. It was the darker broth and greasy. If I was not starving I would have not finished the pho. Nothing could rescue it. Even a load of sriracha. Why would I not recommend: Service is friendly however painfully slow even though restaurant was pretty empty. Pho was mediocre. Vegetable portion and quality was bad. Lemonade was $3.75 and I am pretty sure it was powdered since we had to stir it. I ordered chicken fried rice, but got shrimp. Ordered shrimp spring rolls which never came. A-Ok is exactly what this place is! located in Biloxi lays Long kim which serves up all different kinds of variety's of Vietnamese foods ranging from Pho, com dia (rice plates), and different assortments of noodle dishes. Came in around noon after Mass ended and Whoaaa super crowded seemed like every Vietnamese and there Mama was here! This was our first time here at this location but visited the Ocean Springs one in the past. Prices here are a little bit more expensive then typical Viet spots in the area I guess from the supply and demand out here in South MS not like heavenly Viet populated places like TX or CA. I went ahead and ordered the thit nuong and Pho dac biet. The thit nuong came with a nice size of BBQ pork with a side of rice with garnished with sautéed green onions, cucumbers and pickled carrots. It also came with a side of fish sauce and some soup broth to accompany your dish. The flavor of the pork was good and the fish sauce went well drizzled over the pork and rice. The soup broth was mediocre lukewarm but had a nice flavor with the garnishes of green onions and cilantro. The Pho dac biet overall was great and had many different cuts of meat and the flavor was nice and aromatic. The noodles were perfectly cooked al dente and the broth was piping hot. They even threw in a big fatty piece of tendon for me. It was nicely topped with thinly sliced white onions and garnished with green onions and cilantro. A small side dish of Thai basil, bean sprouts, and a lime wedge was also provided. If I could I would rate this place a 3.5 but then again its nothing to be all head over heels about. I really wanted the Specialty rice plate with the fried egg, egg loaf and chop but at a whopping $14 I think I will pass. overall nice little spot in the Biloxi area so make sure if your in the area give it a try. Let me get y'all in on a secret....RAIN + PHO = AMAZING. Well maybe it's not that big of a secret but it's my perfect formula! It rains a decent amount here as this place never fails to give me the same consistent delicious pho. I have been here more times than i can recall and they have never had a bad pho day. The service is fast and friendly! The interior of the restaurant has been a little updated since it reopened(it had closed down cause of a fire) ,which is nice because previously it was a kinda out dated. I got there over an hour before closing but told I could only get takeout. Then when I ordered the special he said takeout didn't come with soup but since he wouldn't let me eat there I think he should've given it to me. He refused so I still ordered but in the middle of me ordering he said he needed to take care of the Asian guy behind me. I got a lil pissed and slightly tossed the menu and he said, "you leave now". I stared him directly in the eyes and said "No, I want my beef and broccoli." He then took my order and was really nice but he never asked for payment and I've been to many Asian takeouts and they always get payment after ordering so after about 10 minutes of waiting I just left. There was one other white guy that they let dine in so I can't say nothing about that and he said they close early for Christmas but it was the day after Christmas and over 50 Asians eating there.
