#545 April 29, 2026…read more- Wednesday The Name is Tangled Apron, yet pleasant with a smile waitress Demi, did not wear a tangled apron... lol It was cranberry in color and she wore it in a Very professional way. I met with Laurie H. for breakfast at 9am to this new business to enjoy based on other reviews from friends. Yes it is a large restaurant with a variety of coffee flavors, creative entrees and large portions too. Food entrees are made from scratch with unique finishing touches. I wish the entree I chose included a side of meat choice but that was extra $$. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted a table and chair or booth so we agreed on the comfy leather booth that is bright yellow. The overall atmosphere was bright and wide open with variety of areas to sit for breakfast, brunch and lunch only. I didn't like the open steel metal ceiling therefore it was noisy. Yep their Hours are 7 days a week from 8 AM - 3 PM. Phone: 586 488-1890 to Call for carry out orders or check if busy for dining since No Reservations! Have You Heard ? This location is owned by the Perkaj Brothers and they are the Chefs. I posted their Facebook photo showing their Happy Smiles at running this location. I ordered the French Toast with Nutella and Bananas tells ALL and Oh My Deeeelicious it was from start to finish cleaning my plate which cost $17.00 without a meat as a side. That was extra...hmm ?? I wished to try some bacon or pork sausage but not. I ordered a Hot Caramel Latte and that taste perfectly for $5.00. Iced Water was complimentary upon request so we ordered tall glasses. NO advance Reservations so if you have a large party or wish to enjoy Brunch here with family, better check ahead of time, since they will be busy on the weekend so I heard. I noticed on my receipt that they offer a loyalty program to earn points on your dining experience unfortunately the waitress did not mention it when we were ready to pay our bill. I'll have to think about if I return again for another breakfast or lunch visit. Again the atmosphere is bright and music was pleasant that we could still chat and catch up on our lives. :-) Countertop bar area and dining too with Mimosas or alcohol drinks with breakfast, brunch or lunch. Photos attached of the Bar Countertopm Service was efficient and table setting wonderful with fresh flowers, assorted creams and sugars plus clean silverware and napkins plenty. Demi the waitress checked on us a couple times before bringing our bills to check out. Ouch on My breakfast total which was $23.00 before tip. Food Portion was plentiful yet a bit high price especially without a side. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options with Fresh Fruit available as a side. I would still like to come back for a Lunch hour and enjoy a wrap and sit near the front area that opens up for a breeze at a high top. I'll have to view their Lunch Menu and estimate the prices and definitely sip on a Smoothie or Flavored Drink Cocktail for Happy Hour. Sincerely, SpecialK Karen N.

Pretty decent place here…read more Came today for Mother's Day brunch and was expecting to wait a long time for seating. However, since it was just me and my son, we were able to get seated right away. They had a Mother's Day brunch menu so I didn't get to try other main things for their menu. However, I do think they pulled selected items from their main menu for today. The food was really good. I did enjoy it and I think that they had a nice portion size. I don't think they were too pricey pretty standard for breakfast today. Everything $17 and under is it seems. I did really like the Redskin potatoes and I am shocked because I'm usually not a fan of those as breakfast potatoes. Some places taste very bland, however the way they did theirs were very delicious. I felt that it was a ham that came off of the bone, which is a plus! The portion was very small because it wasn't a thick piece of ham. I think if they gave two slices, I would have give 5 stars.. The eggs were really good. I did enjoy the quality of egg that they use. The entire staff seemed very nice. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. They also came and cleaned the tables very often which I enjoy. It's nice to be able to enjoy your food and get unnecessary plates and garbage out of the way. Overall, I would definitely come back and enjoy this place. I will come again to see the regular menu as it seems. They have lots of different foods that I would love to try.

We always enjoy sitting at the bar, as we tend to have better service in restaurants that way. This was not the case here. I asked for a red eye. It is a shot of espresso in a cup of coffee. I ordered a redeye and quickly followed up with what it was. The bartender did not know what it was and seemed irritated with me. The food presentation is pretty, but lacks taste and flavor. I ordered the little Betty omelette. It is large in size. I asked for my toast option to be biscuits. They offer biscuits and gravy on the menu. The bartender looked at her handheld computer and said they don't do that. My boyfriend was tempted to order the biscuits and gravy and ask them to hold the gravy. I felt like it was more of an issue that she did not know how to request this on her handheld computer as opposed to this being unavailable to the customer. Either way, she did not seek it out further and told me no. I settled for the English muffin. My boyfriend ordered the classic eggs Benedict. MEH. The hollandaise sauce tasted a lot like mayonnaise that was yellow. He ordered a Diet Coke and it was flat. He was never offered a refill. I requested a refill of coffee, twice, from two different waitstaff. Neither followed through. My English muffin was served dry and I was never offered any butter or jelly. We left disappointed. I can't say that we would come back. There is a lot of competition in the area for breakfast and brunch places. They've clearly dropped a lot of money into the decor, but I don't see this Restaurant lasting for very long.

Bathrooms are all the way down along the hallway to the left. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Told to sit anywhere. Waitress asked if we've been there before we hadn't. She explained that they have a coffee menu in addition to full breakfast and lunch all day. Waitress was nice. She would check in on us throughout our stay. They had a special's menu and I went with the s'mores iced latte. It was served in a beautiful fluted glass. Topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I really didn't get a lot of coffee flavor? It just tasted more like chocolate. Got the berryFrench toast. The French toast wasn't too thick bread wise. But also wasn't thin toast either, perfect sized toast. It was beautifully displayed, along with the compote and berry toppings. So delicious! Did not have the taste of it being cooked with 20 other menu items on a flat top. My husband got the bass omelette which included kielbasa. That was absolutely delicious! You do not see kielbasa a lot especially in an omelette. The kielbasa had a great smoky flavor and the omelette was a good portion. The tater tots were crunchy and flavorful. Our meal came out quick and hot and able to keep moving with our day.

Well, I'll raise you 1.2 for 5 stars for Host!! Ample street parking on a Wednesday morning in Utica (also public on south side), hubby & I walked past a few businesses and into Host and immediately somehow felt we'd been elevated! The ambience is edgy and elegant giving off an elite vibe matched by the informative attentive staff and everything that was set before us. The barista approached us immediately taking our latte orders from a versatile coffee menu, and our lovely waitress Bailey didn't miss a beat welcoming us, fielding questions and sharing the restaurant's cool concept of "Host"-ing new chefs bimonthly representing freshly-curated menus of palate delights. She later informed us of classes held on 2nd floor for making cocktails and sushi! While enjoying our lovely lattes, we quickly ordered veggie omelets with mushroom and bacon additions that were timely served and clearly plated with care. My husband noticed there were no salt & pepper shakers anywhere, signifying the chef's confidence in his dishes! And indeed our meals needed no help, as we savored each bite of perfectly cooked omelets bursting with flavor complimented by crisp sliced potatoes dressed in a lemon drizzle. Easily the best omelet I've had in my hometown, probably in my state! I made sure to compliment the chef through the open pass-through kitchen on our way out after lingering after our meals not wanting to rush out of this lovely place. What a beautiful start to the day; we can't wait to return with more family!! Thank you for "Host"-ing us!!

There aren't many gluten free options for snacks but they did have gluten free crackers for the whitefish dip and their fries were gluten free. Honestly, I wasn't the biggest fan of their fries. They had a strong oil taste and the irregular cuts made it so that they weren't all cooked homogeneously. I did like the nice amount of freshly grated parmesan on top though. I can't remember the name of the cocktail I had but it was named after a city. My husband tried the basque cheesecake and really liked it. I think it wasn't made by the restaurant if I remember correctly. The pizzas that I saw going back looked great and you could watch the guy making them.
