LCT did an excellent job replacing our roof. They got the whole job done in a day despite the fact that we had two layers of old shingles. They worked diligently all day and cleaned up afterwards. Update: We went to court and sued them for our money back and won. The owner, Luis, continued to lie to the judge even when I had tons of documentation to prove otherwise. Not wise. Please see picture of court document for proof of our victory. Throughout this 18 month nightmare, they ignored my phone calls and emails to fix their mistakes. After 3 decades of every few years replacing various pieces of rotted wood trim on our house with PVC I decided to take the leap and replace all the wood trim that had the potential to rot all at once. LCT Construction had just done an excellent job replacing my roof and I picked them for the trim work. The salesman James who I worked with was more knowledgeable than all the others I've dealt with, was direct when discussing various options and details, and was committed to doing quality work. It's hard to judge these days, but I think their price was very reasonable. At the beginning of the work James came by and we reviewed exactly what was to be done to make sure there were no misunderstandings. The day before work started they dropped off the material they needed for the job along with a dumpster (with wood under the skids to protect the driveway) for the discarded wood. The workers were here every week day with the exception of 1 rainy day even on days in late November when it was very cold until the job was complete. Each day they started around 8:00 am and didn't leave until it got dark, and they cleaned up before they left. All my interaction with everyone on the crew was friendly and relaxed and we were happy to have them around. On the last day they cleaned everything up and removed the dumpster that evening. Every aspect of their work was excellent. I'm no expert, but I've had a lot of trim repaired over the years and this is the best I've seen. I couldn't ask for better workmanship. During the work they discovered some rot that needed to be repaired. They did it for a reasonable charge, and there was never any attempt to up sell or expand the scope of work. The only negative was that they told me the day before the agreed starting date that they needed to slip by 2 weeks. I wish that hadn't occurred but compared to everything else it's not significant. If I ever need trim or roofing work again I'll definitely contact LTC. They were completely professional and easy to work with, did exactly what they said they'd do with no hassle, and I couldn't ask for a better result. I had a FANTASTIC experience with LCT! It started with a prompt response from them, setting up an appointment the next day after a tree fell on my house. James came down and explained everything thoroughly and gave me some options. After talking to a few other vendors, I knew I wanted to go with LCT. Their pricing was better than the other quotes and James was great to work with. Before the crew started any work I met the owner, Luis, and knew I had chosen the right company. He was just as great as James, very thorough and let me know what would be happening. In addition to needing the roof replaced we also had some damage to rafters and decking to replace. After the job was complete, Luis did a thorough inspection of the work and made sure I was happy with everything. The crew did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with the work. They replaced our roof and did poorly. They have to come back at least 5 times and it is still leaking. Shingles are blown away and falling down. Do not recommend. read more

We replaced a somewhere between a 30-40 year old roof in April 2022. LCT was great, they use Certainteed Shingles (made in Norwood, MA) and actually they gave me two/2 quotes--one with one/underlayer and the other with 2 layers/underlayer. Crew were very efficient they put down protection and tried to spare the trees/foliage/flowers, best they could which we greatly appreciated, and also they had dedicated clean up person(s)--they even helped me clean up the beach next door--debris blown by the wind. Mr. Blair/sales was also efficient, he followed up/let me know the original color/shingles we selected were actually available. Also the owner Mr. Luis Castro and the crew foreman Oscar very professional, as a woman I did not feel dismissed talking about a leak/that was chronic issue. Mr. Castro always called me back about scheduling and it was 2-day job that was on time and he came onsite himself 2nd day to take a look at the corner/repair where the leak/was located. Just as Mr. Castro said my invoice/receipt arrived in the mail and then the warranty from Certainteed. They are a good company and I would recommend them. read more

We've needed to replace our 30 year old roof for a while. We contacted 5 people of whom 4 responded. One was a 2 hour sales pitch who refused to write up the quote and offered a 10% discount for an online review ahead of time. One quoted the job without a visit. Another used sub-par materials and charged the same. And then there was LCT Construction: an excellent experience from start to finish. The man who did the quote arrived on time, explained the process, provided the quote with a folder with samples & the warranty information. Questions were answered clearly and the job was booked for the next week. The day of the installation, the crew arrived on-time and ready to work. Luis is a consummate professional who works along side his crew, and provides updates as needed. His crew has the process down to an efficient art form. They arrived at 7:30 and were cleaned up and gone by 3:00 - leaving a beautiful new roof and no trash. Highly recommended. read more
