Brito was on time, on budget, respectful of our home, super professional and pleasant to work with, and we were so appreciative of how communicative they were with us, texting us updates and photos throughout the process. We had several contractors prior to Brito Construction come to assess and quote this same job and we were either told that the project wasn't worth their time or wouldn't do both the structural and the finish work such as putting in the flooring. We had lots of back-of-a-napkin quotes with no itemization and no time frame available. In contrast, Kevin came, quoted the project, was straightforward about what would need to be done, arranged a time a few weeks in the future when we could be out of the house, and did such a beautiful job down to all the little details that it feels like a new home. Despite the huge demo done, we came home to a spotless house and a yard clean on debris. Professional work, done on time, by honest people.

I made a follow up call and coudnt get though for multiple days. Left messages. No returned calls. Finally got through and asked to set up another time. Said Id get a call back. He came by, spent about 10 min walking around, rang the doorbell and gave me a sheet of paper with the quote. Easy and painless as that. I asked for roof quote and got exactly what I wanted. He did not need to come inside or make me listen to a 2 hr sales pitch. I've had at least 2 other companies who tried to do that when I was getting a roof for the quote. 1 of them gave me a quote on sidings instead. The other did not even give me a quote because I decided to kick them out after half an hr. After getting some other quotes I decided to go with Robert and he agreed to come out 2 weeks later. His crew came on time as promised but he wasn't physically there until the end of the day. Overall his crew was efficient. They finished within 1 day as promised. The shingles looked okay, not as flat or even like our neighbors but it appeared to be just fine. They finished the roof before a big snow storm and rain/wind storm within the same week. It was able to withstand everything just fine and no noticeable water leak or anything in the attic. I did discovered a small chipped wood area in the attic which I can see some of the underlayment and shingles but water was not getting through or anything. I will continue to monitor. They actually was supposed to install the chimney as well forgot so they returned a few days later to complete it as promised. Overall fantastic job from Robert and his crew. From the quoting process to the fast efficient work. Cosmetically the shingles could have looked a bit better and more even but functionally it seems to have served its purpose and was worth it for the price I paid.

Flo-Dell contacted us after a hail storm to offer an assessment and to re-roof our house and pool house. They came in and let us know there was "hail damage" and we could put a claim into our insurance and get our roof redone, it would "last 20 years" (our roofs were 7 years old and had been solid throughout). We agreed and had the roofs redone. A year later, during a very hard rain, our roof started to leak around the chimney into our living room. I called Flo-dell, they came out to look it over and told us our chimney needed to be repointed. We repointed our chimney, the roof still leaks during heavy rains and now we have all sorts of ceiling and drywall damage around the chimney and down one wall in our living room. Our pool house roof leaks as well during rain storms. While they were doing the work, they broke our weathervane, and the copper flashing around the edge of the house was poorly done so pieces do not align - it looks terrible. Do not hire flo-dell. We have to now take out another roofing claim with our insurance and have it all redone by another roofing company, plus get our ceiling and living room walls redone and fix the damage inside our pool house.
