Delicious food. Excellent service. Cool, colorful decor. Fun ambiance. What more could you ask for?…read more I really love the decor and vibe here. Everything is warm and welcoming. The staff is attentive and kind. I loved my Caesar salad! It already came with bacon and I added shrimp too. The Miso-Caesar dressing was delicious. I had a non alcoholic seltzer with cardamom and it was delicious. I enjoyed my side of fries with the homemade aioli too. My friends loved their falafel smash burger and fried chicken sandwich. Everything here is homemade and made from scratch. I would gladly come back.

We were seated without delay at a table along the wall opposite the kitchen. There seemed to be a lot of tables and all were full. It was a very hot day, 30C with humidity, and we were very glad to be indoors with AC. Our server was a lovely man and we enjoyed our conversations, these went beyond just our meals and included baseball and his sister's farm. Unsurprisingly we consider the service superb. We ordered the Buttermilk Chicken and the Classic Bento Box, our meals came quickly and portions were fine. Quibbles I had with the Bento box are as follows: I found the Miso soup a bit too salty and a bit thin on Miso. The Kimchi seemed a bit on the acidy side to me. Having steamed rice paired with dumplings and Karaage chicken seems pointless. Sort of like having bread served with your hot dog. I did enjoy the pork and shrimp dumplings and the chicken was also good. As mentioned the room was loud, the sound pressure level seemed high and required speaking louder than normal to have a conversation with my spouse. Once past the bar, there is a line of tables down one wall and opposite the kitchen. Every single table seemed to hold a party of two and the space used to maximize seating. This narrow space seemed to contain sound and made for a busy and noisy space. All told, it felt like the place was set up to maximize turnover while offering an interesting menu that is competently prepared and served. It would have been better if it was less busy.

Having spent a weekend earlier in the year in Stratford neither was I keen about some of the prices that the downtown restaurants like to charge. Pazzo Taverna and Pizzeria seemed to be the answer. At 6PM we actually were able to book a 7:30 table. The room was still busy when we arrived and there was a small crowd waiting but we were seated quickly with menus. The bill of fare is pretty much limited to salads, a couple of appetizer choices, a variety of pizzas, and a handful of pasta dishes. Still, a Marco Polo pizza (roast chicken, sun dried tomatoes, feta, & basil) for me and Spaghetti & Meatballs for my spouse suited our dining preferences. My spouse had a glass of a Spanish Red with her meal, I was satisfied with just water. We were impressed that everything on their wine list was available by the glass as well as by the bottle. Also, we got some satisfaction to see Canadian, Italian, and other countries' wines with one particular exception. (As for that, take your annexation threats and stuff it where you're storing all the Bourbon that isn't crossing the border either.) For my wife's spaghetti, the pasta was fresh and the meatballs plentiful. As for my pizza, I found it flavourful with fresh Basil and the crust was thin and crisp. Portion sizes were more and sufficient as we both had something to take away. Service was quick and cheerful. The room cleared out quickly as we expect a lot of tables were headed for an evening curtain. Still, there seem to be a lot of hard surfaces and it can get a bit loud, it did get a lot better once more tables departed. While not cheap we felt we received value for money, especially compared to some of the other nearby establishments. We'll still go there but from time to time it's nice not to have to fork over 3-digits on a dinner for two.

Service: 4 Food: 3 We ordered the burrata which was pretty good though it was more gritty that smooth inside like the ones I've had at some other places. We had two pizzas and their toppings were great, but I prefer a more light/airy crust. This one was quite hard and on the chewy side. The kale salad was delicious and the best out of the 3 .

This restaurant's sit in an old revitalized church and there is a lot of charm to it. From the stain glass windows to the beautiful chandeliers, it's definitely a beautiful place for any celebration. The staff here are very friendly however we did get a newer staff member who seems to not know the menu well. We had a misorders and the food did take a while to come out. Mind you, we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a big concern and they were very apologetic for bringing us the wrong food, which they corrected promptly. The food itself was good. Everything came out on warm plates and tasted great. We went for brunch so we had brunch/lunch options for food. I will say the food was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. You definitely come here for the ambiance more than the food. Though despite saying that, the fries were super crispy and hot, and I really enjoyed the duck flat bread which was pretty unique. All in all a wonderful celebration and beautiful space.

Food-wise, pretty average brunch/lunch menus. They did have a nice variety of eggs Benedict renditions and sandwiches. Service seemed a bit slow & not too familiar with the menu, but still pleasant. We tried: -Duck flatbread (5/5, loved the textures and the pickled pear flavours) -Leek & smoked Salmon tart (4/5, I will say the tart had an incredibly tiny portion) -Beef & shrimp eggs Benedict (4/5) -Steak & eggs -fried Chicken burger -monte cristo sandwich -Reuben sandwich Honestly, all the food tasted good and was cooked well. Albeit smaller portions for some of the non-sandwich dishes and prices slightly higher than your typical. TIP: Make sure you walk around and tour their upstairs floor!
