Large pour with tasty beer and friendly service. Great spot with outdoor patio to enjoy a beverage. Indoor seating also available.

3.5 Star Black Swan Brewing located in the main street area near Market Square is not to be missed if you like drinking beers and want to support local business. I love the tasting room as the vibe is casual and welcoming. Four 5 oz Samples for $8 and you have to pick a paddle from the wall (which I got a little confused!). There were only 4 beers on taps so we got to sample everything available. English Pale Ale - Easy drinking Porter - A little nutty with a light body IPA - not as hoppy as I expected Wild Child (Berliner Weisse) - refreshing sourness for the hot summer days, think lemonade with carbonation We also got to have a little chat with one of the owners and he even gave us some recommendation for places to visit around the area. And of course, I will be dropping by again next time when I am in Stratford catching a play and try out some beers. You can enjoy a half pint for $4 or so or bring home some in a growler.

Gord and I enjoy craft beer and we discovered that there is a brewery in Stratford we'd never heard of or been to called Black Swan. They opened almost two years ago. We usually go to the Stratford Festival a couple times over the summer and take the train home ... Black Swan is on the way to the train station. But I didn't go last year to the festival and Gord went a couple times but took the Stratford Festival bus home rather than the train. We took the train home so stopped in along the way. They brew their beer onsite. You can also buy beer and take it home (as Gord did) or you can have some there (which we did). I had a Road Trip, which was good. Gord tried a couple, which he liked ... as I said, he bought some growlers to take home. The next time we're in Stratford, we'll be back!

Good beer selection, and they are busy on a Friday afternoon. I took a flight with wild child, porter, IPA and EPA, I like the IPA the most but the rest were pretty good too.

Delicious beer flight!! Why not try them all

Super friendly staff. Wide variety of beers and an extremely inviting atmosphere. Hot dog of the week is also super tasty.

Four of us shared one of the $15 wood fired pizzas. We each had 2 slices. Thin crust, tasty and just right for a snack. Thumbs up for that! I wish we could be as positive about the beers. One of our group had the wheat beer that was brewed on site and liked it. Two of us shared a flight that included a stout, amber ale, kombucha and cider. I honestly can't recall which were brewed by Jobsite, but I think the amber and stout were. Neither was great. The amber was too bitter for my taste. The kombucha was just plain nasty. We all agreed, even the person who brews for a hobby said she's had much better kombucha at her beer club. The cider was the clear winner, but it was rather tasteless. It needed more fruit or something. So, while it's good to have an alternative to Black Swan in town, I hope the brewers here get better product soon. I'd go back for the pizza, but not for the beer.

There is an outside patio, and a large open interior space - definitely a bit of a biergarden feel to it. You go to the bar to order your food and drinks, and tell the server where you are sitting. They then bring the food out to you. Let's talk about the food! More specifically, let's talk about the poutine! I'm not Canadian, but I have had poutine before - and theirs might be the best I have ever had. The gravy was amazing, you could tell they add beer when they are making it. I also tried their regular cheeseburger - cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. If I hadn't had the poutine, I'd give it high marks for the burger alone. Don't sleep on this place, it's great. Now, I don't consume alcohol, so I can't comment on the quality of their beer - but my work colleague said it was very good. I did try their vanilla soda - and it was really good. High marks all around!

It was a "seat yourself", order your food & pick up your own drinks brewpub. The server themselves seemed to be doing little except deliver your food & clear the tables. My food was the TexMex Nacho Wrap ($17.00) w waffle fries. It SHOULD have been piping hot cause it took 45 minutes for us to get our food!! Instead, it was lukewarm with not much taste to it to boot! This was disappointing as the menu (attached) LOOKED very nice but the food disappointed. Our server(s) were less then polite & it kinda turned me off from the get go. As a seasoned restaurant goer...go somewhere else...this wasn't good. To the restaurant owner(s)...do a better job for crying out loud!

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to stop in for a drink. What's better than sitting in an apple orchard on a beautiful day drinking some amazing beer? Add in live music, a food truck, good company and you've got yourself a time. My personal favorite is the... *swoon*... Strawberry Cider, and by the way it was flying outta the keg at the local Bayfield Beerfest this year, then the locals definitely agree with me on that one. The property itself is beautiful. Quaint and quiet. Serene but still funky. Lots of parking and easily accessible off highway 21. Activities and games for the kids to play as well. I'm also 99% sure they offer boondocking so if that's something you're into camping/trailer wise, do look it up. Washrooms are large, clean and gender neutral. Have I mentioned how lovely the owners are and how welcoming their staff is? If you spot the owners, ask for the story of how this place came to be. It's a goodie.

Their location is out on a working farm and distillery so it is out of the way via a country road. Their restaurant is great with indoor and outdoor patio seating. Would recommend indoor due to flies and weather. Their drinks are very good and their food surprisingly excellent for a place that's mainly a distillery. We were here as a group of 6 and ordered a bit of everything. Our order: - Caesar Salad (decently sized, everyone got some) - Mushroom Pappardelle (excellent sauce and very silky, every pasta noodle had loads of sauce, the best part of the meal) - Bee Sting (great pizza, comparable with places that just focus on pizza) - Cheese Monger (all the cheese pizza) - Truffle Funghi (not too strong of truffle, just enough and it all came together nicely) - Ontario Burratini (a great bread + dip with peaches, second best part of the meal) Drinks: - Gin Mule (basically a Moscow mule but with Gin) - Spritz (cherry) The service was amazing, food started coming out around 10 mins after ordering. Ordering did take a while as they were quite busy. The attached store sold their brand of drinks, some of which you only could get there. Lots of customers came and went with cases of drinks. We got some gin to bring home as well. They have a drinks stall at St. Jacob's if you are in the area (no restaurant though). For a distillery, not only do they have great drinks, but all their food seems well thought out and a great choice all on its own. The only con is that they are pretty out of the way, but worth the day trip. They have ample parking and you can hangout on the lawn for as long as you like. They have an outdoor bar as well as corn hole and tables for you to hangout at. Board games and picnic blankets encouraged.
