    Vegetarian flatbread

This restaurant stays open the latest in Stratford, so if you are hungry late at night, this is your best bet. Large menu with many choices such as poutine, flatbreads, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, seafood and more. Full bar too. The food is decent. My vegetarian flatbread was good. The poutine was okay. We came here because it was the only place open late and we needed to eat. It's solid but it's not my first choice. It's large and has plenty of indoor and outside seating. Friendly service.

Visited on a Sat afternoon with a reservation and got a booth in the very back. The booth seats weren't clean. Most of the dishes we ordered were okay, nothing great, but one of us got the smothered chicken and it was completely raw chicken. They gave a replacement but the chicken the second time around had almost burnt crusting and pieces were much smaller probably to ensure it wasn't raw again. The servers were okay in acknowledging it but only gave that meal for 50% off - in my opinion more should have been done considering the risk if we had eaten the chicken. Nothing tasted great enough for us to want to return again after that.

A lovely sunny afternoon walking around the nice little shops in downtown Stratford Ontario can really work up an appetite. What better place to go then the exciting Bentley's Restaurant. I ordered not really the healthiest item on the menu but I wanted something filling. I got the five cheese macaroni with fries on the side. I only got a drink of water to go with it all but it was enough. Macaroni was fabulous, the fries were pretty much what you expect from any other bar and grill . Otherwise service was fast and friendly no complaints there. Huge menu with other great items which I've had before. I will return again and suggest this be at least the top 3 places you visit in Stratford in terms of lunch and dinner choices.

I love Bentley's. Always have, always will. I began my Bentley's dining career at the tender age of seven drinking Shiley Temples at the bar out of big, heavy glass steins. It was the BEST. I was a huge fan of their chicken fingers & fries... they have the best PLUM SAUCE I dunno if it's made in-house or something, but I would take a bath in it. When I worked (almost) next door to it, at The Wardrobe (http://www.wardrobestratford.com/), my favourite lunch to grab was a Bentley's Greek Pasta Salad. Mmmm. Now it's listed on their menu as "Mediterranean Pasta" under salads. It's tricolour rotini pasta with red onion, tomato, and cucumber, sweet peppers, feta cheese, black olives and our own vinaigrette. The Regular is $7.50 and the Large is $9.50. It's still a favourite order of mine. Now when I go to Bentley's it's usually to meet people for cocktails, or a quick pre-theatre or late-night meal. It's a great pub-style place to go with great food. The garlic cheese bread is particularly delightful, as is their grilled cheese - they use olive-oregano bread made in-house and they make it with Havarti... OMG it's amazing. If you're ever in town looking for a place to stay, the lofts above are AMAZING too.

Service was really great. Prime rib was good and Thai noodles were very good. Shepards pie was good too. Local beers excellent.

I was a regular at Block 3 when I lived in Waterloo. Well, if I'm honest, I was there all the time…read moreand they should have charged me rent. You might think beer was my primary motivation, and in the beginning it was. Block 3 is a small batch craft brewery that delivers on tasty beer. They generally have ten to twelve beers on tap ranging from lagers, ales, sours and sometimes a stout. They are all delicious in their own right although drinking barrel aged fruited sours is an acquired taste in my book, but trust me try them and you may learn to love them. But why else should you go? There is limited food (it's a brewery not a restaurant), no TV's to watch the game, a steady stream of classic rock playing in the background, kids running around and a few dogs to greet you on the way in. To make matters worse the cell reception is awful, my wife always had a hard time reaching me. Hmm, maybe that's not all bad... What kind of place is this, anyway? It's a modern twist on an old fashioned FAMILY oriented brewery, that's what! There are plenty of board games to play, the local regulars are always happy to share some stories, and the staff are the coolest people around. They have a great Mug Club and if you are lucky you get your own hand-thrown pottery mug with your name on it! Very cool... As I mentioned in one of my check-ins, Block 3 is a benchmark craft brewery experience. I can't recommend this place highly enough,

This restaurant's sit in an old revitalized church and there is a lot of charm to it. From the stain glass windows to the beautiful chandeliers, it's definitely a beautiful place for any celebration. The staff here are very friendly however we did get a newer staff member who seems to not know the menu well. We had a misorders and the food did take a while to come out. Mind you, we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a big concern and they were very apologetic for bringing us the wrong food, which they corrected promptly. The food itself was good. Everything came out on warm plates and tasted great. We went for brunch so we had brunch/lunch options for food. I will say the food was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. You definitely come here for the ambiance more than the food. Though despite saying that, the fries were super crispy and hot, and I really enjoyed the duck flat bread which was pretty unique. All in all a wonderful celebration and beautiful space.

Food-wise, pretty average brunch/lunch menus. They did have a nice variety of eggs Benedict renditions and sandwiches. Service seemed a bit slow & not too familiar with the menu, but still pleasant. We tried: -Duck flatbread (5/5, loved the textures and the pickled pear flavours) -Leek & smoked Salmon tart (4/5, I will say the tart had an incredibly tiny portion) -Beef & shrimp eggs Benedict (4/5) -Steak & eggs -fried Chicken burger -monte cristo sandwich -Reuben sandwich Honestly, all the food tasted good and was cooked well. Albeit smaller portions for some of the non-sandwich dishes and prices slightly higher than your typical. TIP: Make sure you walk around and tour their upstairs floor!
