When we went in, we were seated very quickly with our reservation. We got greeted by our server, Kaylin. She was very professional and very thorough with making sure she got our orders right. The other server, Sophia also checked in on us when Kaylin was busy. They were very personable too, and actually got to know us a little bit. The food was incredible! The pizza had a nice char on the crust. I could tell it was made fresh. All of our parmigianas came out amazing as well too. The food was fried just at the right crispiness, and the sauce and cheese were very flavorful. The tiramisu was nice and moist and had a great flavor to it. When it came time to leave, Kaylin made sure she had each of our bills correct before giving them to us. The place is a little pricey, but it's worth the money you pay for the quality of the food you're getting. I would definitely come back here again when I revisit my friend. If you're in Long Beach, definitely don't skip on this place. It's worth it!

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with darker lighting, exactly what you want when you're enjoying drinks at a bar. They're always busy during the summer with visitors, but I've also noticed that locals pack the place in the off-season. That alone says a lot. I absolutely loved the barramundi francese and the onion soup pork chop, both were delicious. And I have to mention the mashed potatoes. I normally swap out the potato option, but I was sharing with someone who wanted them. They were incredibly luscious. I'll definitely get them again. Speakeasy is absolutely worth a visit. I'll be back many times! Great job, guys!

The servers were all super sweet, and the hostess' did their best to accommodate our group. We ordered two drinks-Cucumber Cooler and the Indian Summer. The Cucumber Cooler was pretty refreshing and reminded me a lot of a mojito. The Indian Summer, however, was extremely tangy and tart, so I wasn't the biggest fan. For our food, we got a Charcuterie Board, Spicy Chicken Rigatoni, Smokehouse Burger, and Cedar-Plank Salmon. We honestly devoured the Charcuterie Board as soon as it was placed down in front of us. I loved the toast paired with the meats, cheese, and fig. The Smokehouse Burger is honestly so filling. I was pretty full from a quarter of the burger, because it was so packed with things (onion rings, cheese, patty, etc.). The fries are also a classic. The rigatoni was also pretty good; it's your classic vodka sauce. As for the salmon, I was a HUGE fan. The maple-bourbon glaze on the salmon gave it a nice smoky, savory, and sweet flavor that paired amazingly with the garlic herb rice. I could honestly eat this for days. Overall, the food, service, and vibe were pretty nice. I see why so many Long Beach natives recommend this spot. We were also seated in their half indoor/half outdoor area, and the weather was beautiful that day, so it was really nice to experience. Highly recommend coming here !

The reason for me writing this post is to appreciate the level of care and concern for safety of all patrons that the staff has. Mike, Tom and (another) Mike made sure that the guest left and kept me safe while he was leaving. They made sure that the unruly guest didn't see me leave or follow me, and got him to leave me alone while I was at the bar.
