Well, that would be lying and I refused so I called the office., the manager said she had never heard that before about my care taker and I knew that wasn't true because my friend here in the same complex had the exact same issue and had brought it up to her every three months. After I asked that caretaker not to come back the office booked 3 different appointments with me over a period of six weeks one every two weeks. First visit nobody showed up no phone call from the office . I called after a half hour. They apologize said it was an error of non-communication . The second visit exact same thing happened. I called the office. I'm so sorry it was an error of communication.. The third visit the caretaker did not show up and there was no phone call . I once again called the office and the exact same excuse was I said this isn't disorganization this feels intentional. The woman on the phone was rude condescending and said well you fired your housekeeper.. I said yes because they were dishonest and billing hours that they weren't working. Why would you allow that? To me not an honest company to work with starting with the management down.

There was this one incident that had happened where I was working at the DTA program and when one of the disabled members started hitting me and wouldn't stop none of the employees did anything about it but just stare and so after the member got tired and stopped it was than that I was told that no one was allowed to restrain the member because "that would have made it worse" and it seems as though the manager found the whole incident funny as she had a big smile on her face after she had spoken with me about the incident. And that was just one bad thing amognst others. The manager as well as some of the other employees was often rude to the disabled members and yelled at them constantly. She may argue that she was just stern with them but that was bullsh** because she always switched up and was friendly with the members anytime the family of the members were around. She also even called one of the members a bitch after one of the members had called her a bitch first which was not appropriate. Another thing I'd like to mention is that there was this one incident where I had caught her calling me a "stupid ass" behind my back to one of other employees now mind you I wasn't a bad worker, the disabled members loved me, I rarely called off or was late and always came in trying my best. So with that being said if anyone is considering working at the DTA program located on E Main St. Do not come here as there will be ALOT of gossip and jealousy and bullying (I have spoken with other employees about this manager/dta program and they all feel the same way even some of the disabled members have admitted to being scared or wronged by this manager) about you as well as one shit rule where they will not restrain a member if they decide to put their hands on you. Keep in mind that the employees of tungland are given training classes on how to restrain a member if this should ever happen but at this program they will just watch. As far as the houses go I have never had a real problem although it may vary depending on the manager your under and if the manager of this DTA program just so happened to be reading this Fuck you, you are immature, insecure, lazy and just not at all a good fit for caregiving, you be may have some people fooled but you don't have Jesus fooled and I will be praying every day that you get fired from this job. We didn't want to just hire a stranger and didn't know where to look. Fortunately, our friends had used the agency in the past and recommended one of their sitters, Candace. It took some effort on our part to get her number and we SO pleased we did. She was warm, friendly and kind and showed up early just to go over any specific needs and discuss our bedtime ritual. (Our daughter can be difficult at times). Based on our experience with Candace, we would definitely use the agency in the future although she will be our first choice!
