I've been coming to this nail shop for some time now. Lily typically does my nails PERFECTLY. I've never had a bad experience until today. I came here to get my nails done for my birthday and unfortunately my usual person (Lily) was not here. So, I was sat with Jason. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, he said ok. Well, from the color of the base powder to having to add a gel polish on top to make it the right color, to not correctly doing the french tip, Amy stepped in. Again, showed her the same picture. She took off what Jason had done, redid it (see pictures). Perfect example of what I asked for VS what I got. I'm so sad my birthday nails did not turn out how I asked. Crying inside. I MISS LILY!!! UPDATE: my nails didn't even last a week before they were lifting and breaking. The "overlay/acrylic/gel-x", whatever it's called, that I had done for my pedicure, both nails ended up breaking. Weirdly, when I was there, only men were working. The guy who did my pedicure was nice but spoke almost no English and so it was hard to communicate with him. I had to resort to using Google translate. He was very gentle but not very thorough. My cuticles were not well done and there was very little done to exfoliate my heel and or anything else. I would have rather he'd spent more time on the exfoliation and cuticles than the lotion massage. read more

TERRIBLE SALON! I made an appointment for myself and my daughter. I was taken right away for a pedicure, and my daughter had to wait approx. 30 minutes till she was even seen. I then had to wait almost the same amount of time till my daughter was finished so he could do my nails. They have very few employees.....only one of which speaks enough English to communicate with you. What you should know, most importantly, is that EVERYTHING you have done has an upcharge! My daughter had acrylic nails put on and they added a "shape" charge of $5.00, and a "length" charge of another $5.00 and her nails were not long at all. Seriously? When I went back the next day to address these charges, I was told that every other salon does the same thing. NO THEY DON'T and their prices are much less. I also overheard a customer at that time asking why she was charged more and she was told because of nail length, which I saw were not long either. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! There are PLENTY of other nail salons in the area, I would suggest using them instead of this place. read more

I went here after a recommendation from my friend about a month ago. I promised the owner I would leave a review, I just never do right away for nail salons just because so much can change in a week. My nails have lasted since the 29th of December without any breakage and only minor chipping on the tip of my thumb. I am massively impressed by the skill of Lily and her ability to get the colours perfect. She went out of her way to mix colours to try and match the picture I brought in. I will continue coming back, even though it's a tiny bit more than I'd like to spend, just because of Lilys attention to detail. I've sent coworkers and clients to her as well, and they've all said great things. This place might be fairly empty, but it's clean and the employees have a great attention to detail. Nail chipped within a week called to make an appointment to have fixed and was told to just walk in so I did, and was Immediately told there's a long wait and was spoken to so rudely. PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW I am not a resident but had visited the area for 4 months. I had seen this salon while shopping at the nearby Fresh Market. It was clean new and I liked what I saw on their social media. When I came back, getting my nails done here was top of my TO-DO list. I came earlier in the week with my friend and we got great pedis from TN and Jenny (?). We tipped generously! Bravo! I asked who did the nails I had seen on social media and scheduled my appointment with Lily. While Lily's skills are really good, her attitude is VERY, VERY poor. I almost left 2x during my service. She was rude and condescending most of the time. When I asked for her suggestions she snapped in an irritated manner. She would curtly restate (not rephrase) a question when she didn't get an "acceptable answer". My requests (which were reasonable) were met with mumbling to herself. I recognize good work so I tipped her on skill alone but did not want to. I would have tipped her MUCH more had she been more personable because I did NOT enjoy my experience that day. I ALMOST tipped TN instead because if it weren't for him being so nice I would have walked out. I wanted to fly in occasionally to get my nails done but I'm not paying to be disrespected. I sent feedback to them in a DM on Instagram but no one has read it so here it is for ya'll. If you go ASK FOR TN to do your nails or pedicure . He's pretty good and at least he'll be nice. I really wanted to like this place because my first experience was good, but I had a different nail tech my 2nd and 3rd visit and will not be going back. The female nail tech that I had rushes through her sets and both of my sets had multiple crooked/misshapen nails that I tried to point out to her that she still didn't fix. I had scabs on 7/10 of my fingers from her drill. Also, I don't think she sets her top coats long enough because shortly after leaving the salon on both visits with this tech I'm getting specks (maybe sand?) embedded in the top coat of my nails. Made an appointment. I was greeted by Lily (not her real name) I could barely understand her, and I was patient with the lack of communication. I requested a gel fill and Lily stated that I needed a full new set (her way of charging more). I said OK, you are the expert. She started to cut my nails with a nail cutter that looked like a fossil from the dinosaur years. I asked her if she sterilizes the nail cutter before each customer and she said yes, hence when she was done with the cutter, she put it right back where she took it from when she used it on me. Lily used force, when removing the gel and I said that it's very painful and I asked if she could be gentle. Lily stated that she was being gentle but seemed agitated. She then said you may want to wait for someone else to do your nails. I said yes, I agree and that I was going to leave. I was charged $15 for pain and suffering. She destroyed my nails. As I was leaving the salon, Lily followed me and took a water bottle and poured it behind me. I asked her that I need to speak to the owner and Lily said that she doesn't know who the owner is. I asked for the manager, and Lily stated that she is the manager. I stated that no amount of water in the ocean can keep any negativity away as she is the PROBLEM! Loved this place. It's big and clean. It's in a new shopping center so that leads me to believe it's pretty new. There places to eat in the shopping center too so that's convenient. The staff is young and friendly. I went in without an appointment on a Friday mid morning and they got me right in, no wait. Large selection on colors. TN gave me the worst experience of my life. I went in for my appointment I scheduled 2 weeks ago and he had no record of it and was in the middle of a pedicure. He had me sit down and started my nails while cashing out customers and finishing up the pedicure and then began finishing up another pedicure. I tried to be kind and understanding even though I made this appointment 2 weeks ago and have an event on Saturday. He made my nails all different lengths and then when I kindly said a few of the nails were too short he replied that he would take them off for 10 dollars and do another full set for 50 dollars and add 5 dollars to shape my nails the way I had them before. When I said no he said i had to pay him full price when all he did was shape them and fill them with barely enough product to to build a nail (they were very flat) and I left with dusty half done nails that I had to rip off myself. I'm appalled if I was a business owner and found out that a customer left with an undone product and PAID. I paid twenty dollars for the little product he used and his time that he spent also working on other customers. I'm sure the other technicians are great but whatever you do. Do not go to TN for the acrylics unless you want a half assed job with products that are clearly out of date and dried up. read more
