Ladies. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BAIT AND SWITCH. I should have read the reviews before I went here. Basically they offer a special promotion on Instagram for $199 for Eyebrows. I also did eyeliner for the same price. My eyeliner turned out crooked and my eyebrows look worse than they did before I came. When I texted for a touchup, she told me it's gonna be $150 each for the eyeliner and for the eyebrows. How is it a special if they charge to fix it????? Unreal. In any case I will be filing a small claims just for the principle since I now have to go and redo both. If anyone else would like to join I am happy to add them to the suit. I purchased a Groupon for an eyebrow microblading session with Ladan. She has terrific reviews on Groupon and Yelp, so I thought I'd hit the jackpot when I found Lavish Shadow. Unfortunately, my results did not meet my expectations. I received my first session in March and returned for my touch-up in April. It's now been five weeks since my touch-up, and my eyebrows look worse than before I had them done (see pictures). Because I paid $188 for my initial microblading session, $200 for the touch-up, and $175 in gratuity, I was excessively precautious when caring for my eyebrows in the 7-14 day period after each session. I refrained from taking hot showers, working out, wore hats whenever I was in the sun, and ensured that NO water, fabric, or hands touched my eyebrows. I genuinely believe that I took the post-care instructions more seriously than most, and yet my microblading is fragmented and faded. To be completely honest, I felt that Ladan did a rushed job and didn't put as much time or care into my eyebrows, perhaps because I used a Groupon. I also never signed a waiver, and she hardly spoke to me the entire time. She showcases many before and after pictures on her social media sites but never took a before or after picture for my eyebrows. It felt as though she knew she wasn't going to do her best work with my brows and thus didn't bother to take a before picture. I'd recommend either paying full-price for Ladan's services or going to a technician recommended by someone whose brows you admire. Because Groupon takes a percentage of all vendor sales, it could deter technicians from putting their best work forward because they aren't getting paid as much for their services. read more

Poor customer service. I came for a permanent eyeliner tattoo and it faded after 1 year. I was promised to last a lifetime because it's a permanent tattoo but the black eyeliner tattoo is completely gone after only 1 year. I take good care of my skin, not a lot of sun exposure, makeup, etc. I don't recommend this place. Not a great experience. read more

BEWARE! AVOID! This woman is a scammer. I purchased a Groupon for her services but when I went to redeem it she tried to charge me almost DOUBLE the price. She uses unethical bait and switch tactics to try to con you into paying more. This is a violation of truth in advertising laws. I have reported her to the Better Business Bureau and encourage anyone else she has ripped-off to do the same so she can't scam more people. I wanted to surprise my wife with a permanent eye liner and lip liner,something very regular for a professional, turn in to a nightmare, first we went for initial visits, everything looks good but when the swallow went down we notice one side of the eye liner was shorter ,the lady said no problem I will fix it,we went back and again everything looks good until the swallow went down,one side of the lip the liner was much higher and one eyeliner side was shorter,I call this lady leave messages send her pics of the mistakes but never responded,at this point I rather go to a real professional to fix this rookie mistake, don't waste your money, like we did,likely there real professional that could correct the problem. read more

Ladan is amazing. I love this woman! I was a bit nervous, when I decided to get microblading done, for the first time. I've actually done extensive research on many different places- but decided to go with Lavish Shadow, since it's in Beverly Hills, and I worked in Beverly Hills as well. I'm very particular about my face, so I won't just let any random stranger who isn't professional touch my face. My first impression of this place is that it's CLEAN (very important) organized and Ladan (the owner) is very personable, friendly and professional. She's also attentive and listen to what I want. I was nervous at first, but after meeting her and talking to her, she really made me feel at ease. She's also put on some really nice musics, some are slow and soothing, while some are pretty upbeat and uplifting. :) I really liked how my brows looked afterwards. I'm so glad to learn that there's absolutely NO downtime at all. No redness/swelling at all. Probably because I took very good care of my brows afterwards. Applied the Vitamins ointment provided by Ladan, and I made sure to keep them dry for the first 24HRs. I took a bath, vs my usual showers. It's probably not required, but I'm just being extra careful, so my brows would heal properly- so I've been using facial wipes to clean my face, pretty much for the first week. My brows does looked pretty DARK the next day, but once they completely healed, I think the color looks really nice and matched my skin-toned perfectly also. She was a professional- she numbed me first, prior to the procedure. There's some pinching, but nothing unbearable. I don't think I would have done it if she hadn't numbed me first..because I've read from other places, that it's necessary, before the procedure. Recently went back in for a touch-up, and they looked really good now. I love how defined and shapely they look! I've been getting a lot of compliments from strangers and co-workers on how good my brows looked as well. ;) The great thing is, I don't have to use brow pencils/pomade to fill in my brows for a while. She completed the entire process in about an hour or less to the exact dark-brown color that I wanted to match my hair color as well. Just got my brows done on Thursday, and I've received nothing but compliments. My brows look beautiful! No pics because they're still fresh, but the shape is exactly what I wanted.
