I checked my phone texts in case she had texted me but I had nothing. Did I have my dates mixed up? Nope. I texted her to let her know I was here. Maybe she was in the bathroom. No, she just responded that she's running late. "Sorry hon" she said. Ok, it happens. I waited and waited. She showed up about 20 minutes late and I wouldn't have been so upset if she hadn't walked in nonchalantly like nothing was wrong, with her lunch in a bag in her hand. She went to get lunch, knowing she had a client. And she wasn't even rushing in or apologetic! She just walked in, chewing her gum, and said hi like nothing! This time I made my appointment, got email and text confirmation for my appointment, show up for my 11:15am appt early and she's a no show and no answer. It is very unprofessional and inconsiderate to the clients who make advance appointment and show up, and to not tell them you can't make it or running late. Nikki is a sweetheart. I've come to her twice to have my eyebrows threaded. First time was in May and now, just 2 days ago. She really helped me grow out my brows and gave them a beautiful thick shape. She's quick and your eyebrows will look beautiful. I was referred to Nikki by a good friend and after years of trying to find someone consistently good with eyebrows and I think I finally found her. She's fast but not to fast and when she was done my eyebrows literally looked like they had been transformed. I liked that she didn't completely shit on the people that have been doing my eyebrows in the past. I have been to Nikki twice and was pleased both times. My brows are naturally sparse and the person prior to her could not grasp the concept of threading light. I wanted my previous threader to be able to assist me in growing out my eyebrows not threading me bald. However, she would always overdo it despite me trying to explain the less is more ideology. After much procrastination I made an appointment with Nikki. There was no denying that she holds the title of "Brow Master." The salon is so upscale as to be expected since it is located in BH. I definitely love the vibe and watching the stylists work their magic while waiting for my appointment time. Nikki is nice and she gets right to work. On my second appointment I also got my face threaded. I always find the lip and cheeks to be the most sensitive areas but Nikki is very gentle. She is my go to. You get what you pay for and nice brows are worth the cost. For parking you can use the public garage as it is free for 2 hours. There are meters but I can never find an available on.
