Nati used multiple threads not just the same one and I think that was also a factor to my eyebrows not turning swollen red or breaking out. She did such an amazing job getting my dark Asian hair to lift and toned to a more ashy/cool color ($40 extra for the toner, but so worth it). She also gave me a layered haircut which brought my limp dead hair back to life. I ended up paying $205 with tip because I loved it so much, but that price is still extremely reasonable compared to how crazy balayage prices can be for worse quality. Kalpana also was so nice and came in on a Sunday to work me in her schedule. Not to mention, the couple of hours it took to get my hair done went by so quickly because of how much I enjoyed her company. 10/10 would recommend!

Before, I could count on the same person threading my brows and she always did a fabulous job and was kind and friendly. I continued to go here because the lady that was always there after it changed hands was still pretty consistent. But the latest person that threaded my brows took way too much off and after months and months they still have not grown back. They are not even shaped properly either, not at all symmetrical. This was my go-to neighborhood spot but sadly I will not be returning. Instead I need to look for a microblading place to fix the damage they caused.

To do list... 1) Call Sublime Eyes. 2) Book an appointment w/ Angel for a brow service. 3) Feel even more fabulous with INCREDIBLE, NATURAL yet PERFECTLY DEFINED BROWS!!! I am very, very pleased with my overall experience today and I am LOVING MY BROWS!!!! I decided to go for it today and try MICROBLADING for the first time.. I was a little apprehensive about the pain but it wasn't that bad at all!!! Definitely 100% tolerable and 1000% worth it!! Angel is such an artist when it comes to defining brows. Thanks to the micro blading I will now get to have the most fabulous, natural looking and GORGEOUSLY shaped brows every single day.. Yay!! (and I wont have to use a pencil anymore!!) Just to break it down a tiny bit.. The micro blading felt like tiny little scratches. Was it uncomfortable? Yes. But not nearly as bad as I thought it might have been. Found Sublime Eyes easily and it's right near a really good Thai restaurant. To call myself masculine might sound conceded but I can say I'm not femmy. It's just not who I am, but I like to keep my eyebrows cleaned up. (It's the only hair on my head.) I met Angel and Rae and found the salon relaxed with some hip music playing. I had my eyebrows threaded which didn't really hurt but felt like a couple minor bee stings. What irritation there was went away quickly. Whatever. To help keep my eye brows from continuing to get lighter in color Angel put some henna on them. I was thinking it would look unnatural and drawn on, but they don't. To top it off Angel suggested lash tint, so I thought I'd give that a try. Now I know what you're think, "this guy sounds femmy to me." But I just want to give my face more definition that it has as things kinda began to run together, colorwise. I went into a mall to get my eyebrows done and needless to say I received a mall job... Fortunately I met a talented lady by the name of Rachel or Rae through a mutual friend who fixed them perfectly .. I have been a loyal customer for a while now and have never had any complaints.. She is talented and has a good eye to fix any problem necessary, even if you do not notice it.. She is a perfectionist and really takes the time to make you a better person physically and emotionally (she has a great ear to listen too :) It is nice because you know you are in good hands rather than going to a mall where you feel like a conveyer belt.. First time threading and brow stain experience. I have always been a brow waxer/tweezer BUT now I am a treading fan! Denise hooked me up on some much needed LOVE to my brows. I never realized how much impact your brows have on your look. I look fresh and younger - yes!!! The space is modern, clean and inviting. They offer lashes (which are next on my list), and facials, too. I met the lady who does the facials and she has me convinced to try the microcurrent facial. We will see.... I absolutely LOVE this place and the people here... Angel and Rae are so sweet and nice. I get my lashes and threading done with Rae and she is amazing... I've had so many bad experiences with other waxing and threading salons that I swore off eyebrow grooming all together! I randomly saw sublime eyes when I was walking my dogs and thought I'd give it one more shot. When I came in my brows were a mess; crooked and untamed...but after a few sessions with Rae I can proudly say I no longer have ugly crooked brows! And I fully trust Rae to keep them that way. I can't praise Sublime's eyes treatments enough! I initially visited Angel for eyebrow threading and was thrilled with the results. He completely changed my eyebrows. He knows exactly how much to take off: Despite some initial hesitation, I decided to try their eyelash lift service. Amir performed the lift, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. So, I've been going to Sublime eyes for my brows with Angel and I decided to get my eyelash extensions there too. I loved the work. This time a guy named Noel did my lashes, he is so good and the work was so clean. The only issue at that time was, the store was in construction and it was a bit dusty...for me being a regular now it was okay, but for someone new coming i would i think is not the best to take customers with the construcion. I am blessed to found this Angel. After having so many other disappointments with the results of my eyebrows I started doing them myself. Nina does an excellent job with my eyelash extensions. I have tried two other notable salons in Los Angeles, and Sublime is definitely the best- price wise and with the quality of their services. My face is au naturel because I have never done any work. It was never easy to convince me to…read morefollow the current trends for women's beauty standards. However, I came across this company one day while I was scrolling through social media. I checked the posts and its website. I felt like it's time for me to get my bushy eyebrows done. I messaged them to inform my interest in micro blading. Communion was very easy as to scheduling and signing of waivers regarding the procedure. Today was the day I got it done. Zarah herself did the procedure for me. It took us almost four hours to get the job done. She was very patient and meticulous with the process to make sure that I'll be happy with the outcome. She made me very happy because she did my eyebrows the way I wanted it, not too thick and not too dark for others not to be able to recognize me. I went through the entire process without a need for numbing cream. I felt fine and as a matter of fact, I fell asleep. That's how light Zahra's hands are. In case you won't be able to handle it, a numbing cream is readily available. The salon is very bright and clean. There's a clean restroom at the end of the hall shared with other tenants. There's private parking free for two hours and a flat rate fee of $5 if you exceed the two hours. Aside from Zahra, I also got to meet Yaren and Ayjan. Very nice ladies who made sure my visit was a pleasant. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I instantly felt I'm in good hands. I highly recommend this place. They do offer other services too aside for micro blading. I'm thinking to get my lashes done next time.

I waited a couple of days hoping it would get better, but it didn't, so I texted her asking if I could come in ASAP to have them removed. She was actually away on a family trip in San Diego and said she would leave and come meet me a few hours later. I felt so bad because I didn't want to ruin her trip, but how incredibly sweet is that?! I honestly don't know anyone who would cut a vacation short for a client. It truly shows how much she cares about her clients and loves what she does. I was so touched and felt terrible that she had to cut her trip short. She ended up coming in the following day and accommodated me right away to remove the lashes. She does such a beautiful job, and I'm seriously going to miss the lashes... and definitely her! If you're looking to get your lashes done in K-Town, I HIGHLY recommend Connie. Her studio is so cute, the parking is convenient, and her prices are amazing. You really don't find places like this anymore, especially with how expensive everything has gotten!

Sadly, I chose this place based on the reviews. I asked her to do classic deluxe which I never heard of but I get classic lashes . The burning throughout the entire procedure caused such pain and my eyes to tear through the entire time. That has never happened in my 5 years of lashes. The pain was unbearable but I pushed through. She later explained to me she places extensions under the lashes rather than on top as most lash people. And she shared that people who visit her complain of irritation. She never said that at beginning My lashes looked horrible, they looked plastic and very stiff. They felt uncomfortable for at least 3 days. I noticed when I went home there were clumps of many extensions attached to 1 lash and so messy with so much glue that I was never able to comb them as I do daily. Many of my lashes were folded and glued onto other clumps . The worst experience in my life. I went back to my original lady and told me there were definitely NOT classic and damaged a few of my lashes . Please do your research. I don't know how they have such good reviews. Looked like my 10 year old did my extensions
