Overall - Monica did my brows and eyelash tint! She did a great job. So, I'm happy I found a new brow person. She took her time to address my concerns and gave me some tips to follow to help them grow. I'm a hard person to please, so I'm I say a service was good; it's good! The best! I feel so lucky to have found this place for my eyebrows and lashes years ago! It's a blessing because it's always reliable and reasonably priced, too! They are such wonderful people to support. The vibe is fun and relaxing in a great area with easy parking - with a great playlist always on. Angel is an eyebrow stylist genius/magician and so easy to work with and sweet! I get constant compliments on my eyebrows and people think it's all natural but it's the result of master microblading and maintenance through the Diva Combo and threading. Amir has been doing my lashes for a long time too - I get a lash lift or lash perm to lift up my thick lashes and get that pretty curl that makes my eyes look open and fresh! And his lash extensions are wonderful, too. He is also so good at what he does and totally sweet! While I haven't tried everyone who works here they all seem great and in demand. read more

I´m new in town and when I found Angel I could immediately see he´s a star in eyebrow threading. I never was so excited about my eyebrows. My next step was to do Microblading to fill up the empty spot between the eyebrows that by the years became lighter and make them full again. And Angel did it. Monica is literally the BEST and I will never go to anyone else now that I've found her. She has the lightest touch, I don't know how she does it but it's painless every single time. Great place! Very clean and everyone was so kind. Got my lashes done and a bunch fell off after only 1 day but I called to tell them and Amir fixed it for me for free! 5/5 for lashes, it's my new go to place! Only reason why it wasn't 5/5 overall was because I wasn't very happy with the eyebrow threading. It was overpriced and when I looked closer after I left, I realized she missed a bunch and it honestly looked like she barely did anything. read more

I read all the great reviews and assumed the bar was high for all employees..I was given someone not listed on the website but I *think* her name is Shirin. She wrote my name down as Elisia so I'm not feeling too obligated Pros: The place is gorgeous, the music was exceptional. Everyone was nice. So the real reason I'm writing: Starting with it's my fault for not being more clear on what I wanted my lashes to look like. I asked what the differences were between natural hybrid and volume. I said I'd like hybrid and to lift on the corners and I didn't want them too crazy. I assumed this person does them all day and knows what I mean. I have sensitive eyes so the bright lights are difficult but I've had lashes once before and it wasn't that big a deal. This time I was constantly getting solution in my eyes, having my eye skin pulled around, and generally not comfortable. I feel asleep at the last place I went to so why so different? Midway through she DROPS THE TWEEZERS on my eye! Maybe they are called something other than tweezers but basically a metal tool hit me in the face. Listen I'm human, I know people drop things so I try to just be cool because I know she didn't mean any harm and I wasn't hurt so whatevs. Well immediately she says she going to give me volume lashes but charge me for hybrid. I'm kinda confused because I said I didn't want them too crazy and liked the idea of hybrid. So now I feel bad for her and don't say anything still assuming she will do a good looking set of lashes... 5 minutes before the end she tells me about another client going to Hawaii who had cut her lashes because they were too much. What she doesn't know is I'm literally going to Hawaii the next day and ugh these will be too much. Now she's done and I look..They are drooping down at the corners and caterpillars. They don't even resemble hers that are supposedly volume. They just look dumb. I'm now embarrassed, defeated, and the last thing I want is to be stuck there while she redoes them because my eyes feel like they are bleeding. So I pay my $150 (plus $25 deposit) and leave. My boyfriend and friend at home laugh at me and I try not to cry. Luckily they started falling out non stop every day so they worked ok in pictures on my trip even if they did hurt the whole time. Let's pretend I loved them. It's been a week and I have 3 little clumps left which are all twirling in different directions which make me resemble a meth addict. Sunglasses are my friend. Needless to say I won't be going here again. Sad because I was considering microblading. I'm sure everyone else is cool but no thanx read more

I've been going to Amir for lash lifts for 4 years+ he's THE BEST! I moved across town and still drive to weho just to see him. Angel is exceptional. If you are considering doing anything with your eyebrows I recommend you make an appointment to meet with Angel at once! I've been struggling with my brows for years, I had them done a while but the shape wasn't fitting my face and they were very uneven. Angel matched the microblading to my natural brow shape. Before I would need to spend time drawing them in, now I can just get up and go with great brows! read more

Established in 2011.

Sublime eyes emerged out of a group of artist who's passion is to work beautifying the eyes. The creator of Sublime eyes Angel Cisneros had worked for many years as a threader, "Shaping eyebrows for some years made me realized how can a small change on someone's face can make a huge difference. Creating a new eyebrow shape or changing the actual can give amazing symmetry to the face, adding some beautiful eyelashes will enhance the eye even more! Some clients don't even need eyelash extensions, since they have lots and long already, but we can perm them. An eyelash perm will make those natural long and full lashes look even more beautiful and if they are naturally blond I can tint them to enhance them even more. Then I heard of Permanent make-up, that opened up my horizon even more! Now I could help people who don't have lots of brows and lashes i thought. That's how I got the Idea of Sublime eyes, a place where the eyes can meet artist that love enhancing them.

Meet the Business Owner: angel C.

I started my journey as a little kid taking all kinds of art classes. I also went to CSULB for liberal arts and photography. I loved art, but I wasn't sure in what nitch i was going to put myself into. The beauty industry didn't come into my head since, I always connected beauty with hair and I had no interest in doing someone's hair. While in college I worked as a receptionist in a threading shop and that's where I found that nitch. I worked with mostly Indian ladies, they introduce me to threading, mehendi art, and make-up. My eyes opened up really big. My career in the beauty industry started. Make-up definitely thought me about enhancements. It is not about a little bit of this and a little bit of that, it's about seeing where to place it to enhance, to make it look even better. The eyes always intrigue me and i could do so much with them, so I wanted to lear every technique out there to make the eyes look amazing!, so I did.

It was a bit stuffy when I first came in, but they put on the air conditioning and that helped. I put some rose water on my brows and face afterward, which was nice because a lot of places only have aloe. They don't have a rosewater which is something I enjoy. I have the lady by the name of Malti. She was polite. They also sell different eyebrow products, although I did not pick up anything; so I can't speak to that. I did not use the restroom so I cannot comment on that either. If you are in the area, I would recommend coming here. Plus, it's very close to target if you need to shop and it is right next-door to a coffee bean if you want to enjoy as a delicious treat at the same time.
