There were a few people already in line ahead of me, but it moved quickly I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded, it took less than 5 minutes. Quick and precise, very straightforward experience. Not gonna lie I'm always scared to go to a new threading place because I don't like when my eyebrows are too thin. However these people know what they're doing here. They're professionals. Threading is slightly painful but beauty is pain. They take walk ins so it was so convenient for me to come in and get my brows done. I swear it took less than 5 mins for my brows and my upper lip. I came in and walked out with gorgeous brows. So easy! I have super super sensitive skin so that always worries me after getting my brows done but it wasn't too bad this time just redness but no bumps and she offered me aloe Vera gel. My eyebrow specialist rushed the entire process and kept threading my eyebrows very fast/harshly so it was extremely painful. Initially the first specialist who was supposed to do my eyebrows - wasn't able to help me because I asked for eyebrows to be arched. Fast is the only positive review I can give. Came in right around opening. The older lady threaded my eyebrows. When I checked them, I asked for them to be a little thinner. And she took her scissors and kept chopping. I'm now left with splotchy eyebrows. The problem here is that she didn't bother to LOOK at my eyebrow. She just quickly kept snipping. There's no art of threading here. Just blotched eyebrows. Good thing is that they'll always grow back. However I will not be coming back. read more

I have been coming here for almost over 4 years and I don't allow for anybody else to thread my eyebrows now besides this threading studio. I feel like brows are a very touchy and personal thing. They make your face. So if you find somebody that works for you and stick to them. I love my brows and I like the natural polished look that she gives me! If you go ask for Aruna I definetly think she is underated and underpriced being that I use to pay almost 50$ at a threading shop that didn't even do a great job. Not to brag but she is also #2 in Los Angeles at places to get your brows done in the Los Angeles Time and Anastasia is #1 Go Figure! I told my friends and family and out of four people only one didn't go back everybody else are regulars now. Been going for years! She's always reliable for quick and pretty brows. I always ask/ wait for Aruna herself

I should have read the reviews before I came. But the salon was suggested by a friend. I came midday and there was only one person ahead of me who was done within 1 min. I sat down in the chair and the woman did not bother to ask how I like my brows. Instead I set up until I told her directly how I like my brows. She nodded and I laid back. Within 1.5 min a mirror was in my hand to look at my brows. There is a big chunk of brow missing from one of my brows. When I went to mention this, the lady cut me off exclaiming that my brows are uneven and she would have had ri take off more... Had the person taken the time to look at my brows and brush them prior to threading she would have noticed that one side is naturally thinner than the other. Therefore no need to take off as much as the other side. I do not understand the extreme rush to do my brows when there was no one in the salon. This was such a disappointing experience. Now I will need to grow the chunk of my brow back that is missing. I will not be returning. *I do not believe Aruna was the person that did my brows.* read more

My eyebrows have been uneven for a long time and it drove me insane. I'd ask people for their opinions and no one knew what it was. The shape? The arch? Id stare in the mirror trying to figure it out by myself till I got dizzy. Then things changed. The first time I walked in, Aruna immediately said my left eyebrow was higher. I looked at her skeptical. She restated it with conviction. The second time I tested her a bit, hoping she wouldn't recognize me from before since she has so many clients. I asked her what made my brows look uneven. She still said "the left eyebrow is a bit higher, but it's okay! That's natural". I told her I had an eyebrow obsession and needed them to look perfect no matter what it took. The third time I went in was the charm. After she finished, I spent time in her chair not inspecting her work, but admiring it. Even though she was finished, she said "hmm...let me make the top of that one straighter". I used to come here when they were a small shop in Hollywood, and this newer location is much more accessible. Parking is in a free lot right in front. So easy. No reservations, just show up. I suggest you show up when you have a window of time to spare. You will be waiting. I showed up and there were 5 people in front of me, and a line quickly formed behind me as well. I used to come here a lot and always thought they did a good job - after my most recent visit, I will NOT be going back. They were very busy and there was only one person working, which I understand. However, I felt after waiting 30 minutes, and it finally being my turn, the job was rushed and I am VERY unhappy with my eyebrows. They were not shaped well, hair was removed where it shouldn't have been, and I didn't even have time to look at them and say anything before being rushed out of the chair for the next person. There was also a very rude customer that made the experience that much more worse. There needs to be better direction when they're that busy and more time needs to be given to each client. I have a two part review. ARUNA'S THREADING : Aruna has done my eyebrows more than once and she is superb. She understands the dynamics of my face and contours my eyebrows accordingly. I had specific requests and she gladly obliged to them. Worst eyebrow salon I've ever experienced. There was no welcome greeting. Very cold and rude attitude for no reason . I requested baby powder before beginning to thread due to having sensitive skin and she didn't have any which I thought was unprofessional but dismissed respectfully. I also requested cooling gel afterwards and she handed it to me on a cotton ball to do it myself. I probably sat on the chair for a max of 2 minutes, it's like she couldn't care less of the outcome but just wanted to be over and done with. Arunda is great. The place is always clean and inviting. She does still requires a mask which I love. Born and raised in la so I've gone to a couple places in K-town and DTLA, none have left my eyebrows the way I wanted them. They kept leaving them thin. I didn't do my brows for 4-5 months to let them grow out. I told Aruna I wanted a clean up and to keep them thick. And SHE DID!
