Worst eyebrow salon I've ever experienced. There was no welcome greeting. Very cold and rude attitude for no reason . I requested baby powder before beginning to thread due to having sensitive skin and she didn't have any which I thought was unprofessional but dismissed respectfully. I also requested cooling gel afterwards and she handed it to me on a cotton ball to do it myself. I probably sat on the chair for a max of 2 minutes, it's like she couldn't care less of the outcome but just wanted to be over and done with. I couldn't believe the horrible service I paid for but gracefully left knowing I won't ever be returning. read more

Born and raised in la so I've gone to a couple places in K-town and DTLA, none have left my eyebrows the way I wanted them. They kept leaving them thin. I didn't do my brows for 4-5 months to let them grow out. I told Aruna I wanted a clean up and to keep them thick. And SHE DID! She also listened to my concern about the middle of my upper lip being too sensitive to wax so she thread it instead. She's amazing! I'm so happy with my results! She has earned herself a loyal customer! I definitely recommend this place to everyone thinking about it! Aruna is quick and efficient! And just overall super sweet! read more

Today was my first time having my eyebrows threaded at this studio by Aruna . She's was super sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout the process . I am beyond happy with how she cleaned up my eyebrows which was very much needed after months of letting them grow out . The cleanliness of the studio was also good to see she made sure to disinfect and sanitize everything with every customer . I am beyond happy with her work and I will definitely be returning . Thank you Aruna ! read more

Arunda is great. The place is always clean and inviting. She does still requires a mask which I love. It is definitely a health hazard (Covid or not) to be breathing in someone else's air--especially for her all day with numerous different people. My eyebrows are always immaculate. I always get my eyebrows threaded and tint. Highly recommended! read more

This threading salon was recommended to me by my co worker. I live in the valley but clearly totally worth it to make the drive. Aruna is always on point with the threading. She's also fast which is a plus for me. read more

I like this threading place and the lady that I presume owns it, but the pricing is very inconsistent the last time I went in about 2 weeks ago she charged me 40$ for a brow threading and a brow tint. However I was in 2 weeks prior to that and was charged the same price 40$ and had got my lip threaded as well. So other than the pricing inconsistencies I would definitely recommend. read more

I've been going here for years. But the last 2 times they have completely destroyed my eyebrows. The 1st time I thought maybe the lady was just having a bad day. Took me months to grow them out. I went back 1 last time because like I said... I've been going there for years. I asked the lady to please keep my brows thick, as I've been growing them for months. She rushes thru the process (they had no one waiting) but she does them in 2 mins, I look in the mirror... they were completely destroyed. Again!! Skinny little eyebrows. I have referred so many of my model friends over the years. We'll never go back! read more

New reception person at the front is very rude and does not provide kind or caring communication. Terrible customer service. But the place/threaders are very good at what they do. read more

Very fast service and always happy w my results. Parking is super easy for a very busy intersection. I always make sure to call ahead to make sure they're open tho bc since it's a small business, sometimes they close for whatever reason they need to. I'm glad they now accept cards too. read more

I love Aruna. I've only been here twice, but both times I've been very impressed with my brows. I love that she didn't make my brows skinny and kept them thick as requested. She's nice, the studio is cute and I'm so happy it's open during covid. I'd definitely recommend this location. I've only had my brows done by Aruna though so I can't speak for the other ladies there. But, I'm sure they're wonderful read more

Aruna is great and knows what's she's doing. She's my go-to for when I need my brows cleaned up and tinted.

So Aruna herself is great and super efficient with her threading - but I have to say this business is managed poorly. Every time I come in, they change their prices and method of payment. Sometimes $20 sometimes $22. Sometimes card, sometimes cash, sometimes Venmo. Sometimes they take my stamp card, sometimes they don't. Aruna also isn't always in and so I've had to call ahead to make sure she's actually there before arriving. Finally, they don't honor their business hours. I called ahead to ask when they are open until and they said 7, last call at 6:45. I arrive at 6:40 only to be told they won't see me because it's too late. Aruna's a great threader but I just find it so frustrating each week to find out what the new problem is. I work 9-6 every day and don't have time to keep dealing with these issues, so I will likely take my business and recommendation elsewhere. read more

I asked to keep my eyebrows natural and thick and she made them super thin and skinny. I'm a man so this was terrible for me and they have to grow back now... read more

Ok let's talk about it I come here all the time to get my eye brows done. Never even seen this lady working in this shop I ask her if she could whip the chair down due to covid she said "you can do it" I'm like you want me to whip down the chair your working out if she proceeds to say I'm a stylist it will hurt my hands? ... i was like oh okay nvm .. than I thought to myself let me get her name so I can write this review she didn't want to tell me her name I started to record her she called me a piece of shit but the only piece of shit here is your service & how to treat people because you don't want to clean mind you she didn't use hand sanitizer before or after touching ladies face. & she had money in her hand. Word of advance ladies I wouldn't let anyone touch my face after that type of disrespect. & little does she know I'm a yelper I leave reviews because this is unfair to be treated like this. It cost nothing to be kind do better sis. read more

This place is amazing! Aruna did my eyebrows yesterday I've been getting them threaded for years she did them the fastest and one of the best jobs! I'm so excited I found this place thank you again! read more

I've been going to Aruna for 5 years now. Sometimes i go months without seeing her, but if i do so i won't touch my brows AT ALL. I don't even trust myself! I've gotten a lot of my friends to go to her and they're always pleased with the results. She's the only one I'll trust with my eyebrows and I always get compliments on them. I recommend Aruna 100% because it's worth the price. (Don't forget to tip) This second location also has free parking! You have no excuse not to go. A little before and after of when I started visiting! I had drastically overplucked my brows so I grew them out and this is where were at today. No eyebrow makeup on that after picture!! I've been going to Aruna's studio for about a year and always had a great experience. I value efficiency and time, and I'm always in and out in less than 5 min. I AM SO PLEASED AND BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND THIS PLACE. I love the location because no matter where I am at, I will be able to get here. Very central to Melrose, Hollywood, and other places I travel. I got my eyebrows done be Aruna herself, the Owner!! She is a humble person and just all around a boss. She also owns the Aruna off Hollywood (just in case you were wondering). It was my first time coming here and working with her. I told her my previous experience and she automatically wanted my to recover from it because after my session she said we'll get your eyebrows back. I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT!! Remember, eyebrows are cousins and not sisters. Some may be perfect, some may not. read more

Aruna is an expert at this and does a really good job each time!! BEST CLEANUP I have ever gotten. I recommend asking to get your eyebrows done by her even when she has other people helping, it has been my experience that Aruna just does a better job, so I recommend waiting for her even if it's really busy, and if she isn't there I recommend coming back on a day where she is available. I can't speak for everyone who works there, but I did have a bad experience with a different girl who works there and Aruna was more than happy to fix my eyebrows after this! She cares about customer feedback and will make sure you walk away happy!!! Also, I saw another review with pictures of this girl who was rude to the customer, same girl who caused my bad experience and was rude to me too! and that review claims that this girl was the owner, and I want to set the record straight that THE WOMAN IN THOSE PICTURES ISN'T THE OWNER!!! she was some girl who was hired to work there and if you see that girl just come back a different day, she's terrible, but just to be clear THE OWNER IS ARUNA HERSELF AND SHE IS AWESOME, she would never use that kind of language, she is the most professional person and truly cares about her business! So if you had a bad experience because you happened to go on a day when this girl (or someone else) was working I highly recommend giving this place a second chance and asking for Aruna, she doesn't deserve to have her business reputation stained because she hired someone and this person didn't appreciate the opportunity. read more

Just give Aruna her flowers now....by far the BEST eyebrow threading I've received. Not one complaint on my end. She literally did the best job ever... so so so happy. And I'm VERY picky about my brows, she did a good job. read more

The woman who owns the shop and does most of the threading is absolutely lovely and always does a good job. She recently hired a new person to help and she absolutely butchered my eyebrows. I asked for a clean up, and the result was thin and mismatched brows, with one side shorter than the other. She acknowledged that they didn't match, but treated me like I was the problem and said to "just grow them back out." The damage she did to my brows will take months to grow out. Not the quality that I had come to expect from this place, and if I go back and she's in there, I'm turning around and coming back another time. read more

Wanted to like this place. Came for a couple of months and she was ALWAYS in a rush, I would be done in less than a minute. Not precise or anything, she does not take her time to perfect the eyebrows like many other places do. She also chooses and picks who to be very nice to, but doesn't treat everyone the same. Having a business is about being consistent with people. Also just letting y'all know to bring cash because they charge more with card! But there are much better places that will take their time! read more

Omggg I seen the reviews and said okay im coming here I went waited almost 30 min and honestly it was a rush my eyebrows are the thinnest they have been since I was like 18 but I'll give it a three because she was the only one there but it just seemed like a rush and not defiantly was look at my eyebrows prior read more

I think she is great! Totally cool of her to do it all on her own. With that being said, you will have to wait if there is a couple of people inside. Not a big deal to me but maybe if you're in a rush. She always does a great job! Happy to have found a place in Hollywood that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I pay 45$ for brows, full face and half neck. Takes about 3 weeks for it to grow back and I haven't notice my acne get worse. If anything, it's helped brighten my face up. read more

I read the good reviews on this place and after years of being convinced i could do my own brows better than anyone, and being scared they would mess them up, I decided to finally give it a try. I came here cuz all the hype i heard from friends the lady does eyebrows fast she doesn't take her time noticing if they are even and when she was done with my eyebrows she gives me a tissue for me to clean my face, she also doesn't greet people unless she knows them not coming back at all my friends said the same about her work they won't be going back either. read more

I've been to Aruna herself a million times and have NEVER had a problem. However, today I had to see another woman and i'm so beyond disappointed. I have very thick brows and I love them and this woman completely thinned them out and i have small patches of missing hair. She also managed to pull out many of my lash extensions. I love Aruna she is very talented but i'm so disappointed in this experience I'm not sure i'll ever come back. read more

There was a line of two people outside. Aruna works quickly, so the line moves quickly. Amazing place! Affordable, efficient, and a great business. I love going to get my eyebrows threaded here.

It is extremely odd that a business in West Hollywood only accepts cash payments, with no alternatives. It is also baffling that this business has no interest in accommodating new clients. I inquired if they accept Cash App payments and was told only Venmo. I then provided several other third party payment options such as PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Zelle. The business still refused to accommodate. As a paying customer who is going out of MY way to pay YOU, it is absolutely ridiculous to lose business because you only take cash or Venmo. ESPECIALLY when I am sure the service provider(s) have smartphones. Not a smart business practice whatsoever in this current climate. I would have happily accommodated but it is one thing to refuse a new, paying, customer outright because of poor customer service knowledge and apathy. Don't recommend! read more
