I hate leaving bad reviews, but I had a negative experience about eight months ago and will never go back here because of it. I have been a customer of Bliss for many years and preferred it years ago before the ownership changed. Before, I could count on the same person threading my brows and she always did a fabulous job and was kind and friendly. I continued to go here because the lady that was always there after it changed hands was still pretty consistent. But the latest person that threaded my brows took way too much off and after months and months they still have not grown back. They are not even shaped properly either, not at all symmetrical. This was my go-to neighborhood spot but sadly I will not be returning. Instead I need to look for a microblading place to fix the damage they caused. read more

HORRIBLE! Before there was another lady that worked with owner and she was amazing, fast, no pain, and beautiful shape. Now only one lady works there, she's thin. First the threading is extremely painful. I had to stop her to gather myself. She thinned out my eyebrows, the first time it did not bother me because it looked nice but this second time around she went even thinner. HORRIBLE! I've gotten my brows threaded at so many different places through the years, and this one was the worst. Not only was it especially painful, but my technician was unfriendly. When she gave me the mirror I could barely see from the pain so I couldn't see my brows clearly until I was in the car -- she took off almost all of my brows leaving the thinnest line ever. I'm so upset, because they're not only extremely thin, but really short too (she took off way too much from the ends). My shape is totally gone and it's going to take months to regrow. read more

There's always a long list of new go-to spots and services you have to find when you move to a new city: a new dentist, new coffee shops, and for many of us, a new threading salon. After recently moving to LA, I think Bliss Brow Threading will be my new go-to for threading! I've been here twice so far, and was threaded by a different person each time. They both did a great job and were relatively quick. The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing, and the prices are reasonable. There's also conveniently a small parking lot in the front - it was full the first time I went, but it was pretty easy to find street parking in the residential area down the block. read more

I think I found my new regular eyebrow salon! PROS: They do a great job. I have an eyebrow piercing and that was no problem to the stylist. She was able to work around it great. I told her I only wanted a cleanup, I do not like thin eyebrows. She cleaned up my eyebrows some and let me check in the mirror midway to make sure I was liking what I was doing, I absolutely appreciated it. The place is walk-in only, and there were about 4 people ahead of me, and I waited for about 15-20 minutes, so not too bad! There is a free parking lot CONS: CASH ONLY! I'm so thankful I grabbed some cash before I went, or else I would have no way of paying. I also couldn't seem to find a price list posted, so I'm not sure what the regular price is for everything. Would be nice to have one posted so you can take a picture of it/know what you are about to be charged. Overall, great experience and I will come back! 4 stars because no matter who is at the chair when I go, always gets my brows right and that's the most important thing for me when reviewing a brow place. I've tried about 20 threading places and Bliss Brow has been the most consistent at ensuring a clean and natural brow. Brow threading is $13. It's a quick and efficient in and out type of establishment (provided there is no line--weekday mornings are key). Cross your fingers for parking in the shared lot, otherwise side streets have parking. My only gripe is that there is usually no customer service. Sometimes I'll get a hello, but today, the woman who serviced me continued a casual speakerphone conversation for the entire duration I was there--from walking through the door and back out. There was nary a word spoken to me for the entire 7 minutes of my service. I don't think I'm asking too much when I expect that my technician get off her phone when threading my brows.
