I am APPALLED by the unprofessional behavior of this place. Cory, the technician, very rudely asked me if I'm wearing mascara. I had attended this appointment straight from work, and was indeed wearing mascara. She said she did not have anything to remove the mascara, and that I could still have my lashes done with mascara on, but she couldn't guarantee that they wouldn't all fall off. She suggested that I get them done with mascara on and come back in a week to get them retouched, which is absolutely insane. I have gotten my lashes done DOZENS of times, and have never been to a studio that didn't carry eyelash remover. Each technician I've been to before has cleaned my lashes for me before putting on a new set, no matter whether I was wearing mascara or not. The technician at this studio was extremely rude and unprofessional, and it's pretty asinine to not carry remover at a lash studio. I'd never come back and would not recommend at all! read more

Found this place here on yelp, I saw some great reviews and it right up the street vs traveling an hour to my old place so I was excited, anyway went for my initial hybrid full set and I asked for 8-13, it looked fine at the salon, then went home and immediately they started to fall out, within a week one eye had halfway fallen out so I called and they scheduled a "correction" so I went back and she redid the one eye and added some to the other for equalizing effect. They looked fine while I was there then a week later they look horrible again and noticed they were more fans than hybrid... it's so spacey and empty looking, they don't look like natural lashes at all i bought the lash wash and wash them daily and they're aren't enough for me to see them as worth the time and money I spent. The girl was really nice but not as good as they claim... Nearly $200 with tip for this!! Not worth it to me at all!! Zero stars!!! I will be calling for my money back!! read more

I really love this location! I was traveling from the valley to see my lash technician because she was so great! I love that lash effects allows you to book online, you can save your payment information and use that to check out at the end of the appointment. Depending on the day that you come in, while they do have a few spots in the back, they are normally always taken. So you will need to street park. Be mindful of the times and the signs posted. I do always try to book on days and times that I knew it would be easy to find parking, so lessen the stress. If you are getting lashes for the first time OR want to try out a new spot, I would highly recommend this spot! read more

I booked based on all the good reviews but I got my lashes done yesterday and I've lost so many already. They looked good when I left. But they keep falling out. I was really hesitant to get my lashes done due to a bad experience about 6-8 years ago with an unlicensed lash technician who was just learning how to apply lashes. My eyes were constantly irritated and I ended up removing them a few days later! I decided to give it another go with my sister and I'm so glad we did! I had an appointment with Shandell and she was so kind and professional and made it a very comfortable experience. She made sure she knew what I wanted and communicated well her professional opinion on what I should get in order to maintain my lash health. I wanted something natural but with sort of a cat eye do she did a kitten eye for me! I was so scared when I first opened my eyes and I honestly didnt feel the lashes at all! I am a few days in now and the lashes are still super comfortable and haven't caused any irritation. My sisters experience with Emily was also great! She was so happy with her work and we're both going to be coming back for a fill :) The prices are fair and while the salon itself isn't top notch and can feel a little warm, I'd still recommend it just because of how experienced and communicative the techs are. read more

So happy I've finally found my go to place for lash extensions! I've always loved getting them but never loved one single person or place, but Lash Effects is now it! I used to go to Ariela but she's on maternity leave so now I see Shandell who is also great! She is so sweet and friendly and listens to exactly what I want. She takes notes on everything so I don't have to explain what I like/want every two weeks. I explained to her that I get bad anxiety when getting my lashes done which is a new thing for me, but she was soo understanding and so sweet about it, she has seriously made my anxiety and claustrophobic feelings go away now that I've been consistently going to her! We talk the whole time and I seriously can't say enough good things about her. But if you're reading this, please don't take all of her appointments away from me lol. Parking can be a pain but there are 6 spots in the back alley if you're lucky enough to get one. Otherwise it's metered parking (only 1 hour which is risky) and residential parking. They also have gated entrances in the front and back and you always have to call in to get it opened so be mindful of these things and get there a little early! read more

The lash glue they use is cheap and your lashes fall out as soon as you leave the place. Would no recommend!

So I have been here a few times now and I can say with certainty that Stephanie is amazing! I was iffy at first because she had cancelled on me last minute the day before Thanksgiving so i was annoyed, but she reached out later in the evening and rescheduled me and I'm glad I went. She really knows what she's doing, and she's very honest and real. We talked about other lash places in the area and she gave me honest feedback instead of bad mouthing any competitors, which I thought was cool. She also talked to me about different options for my lashes and is willing to explore new looks with me at my pace. I also love that she doesn't have a requirement to come back within a certain amount of weeks or you have to get a full set. It's ridiculous when places do that especially when scheduling isn't always permitting. read more

I'm kind of a difficult client because I want my lashes to look full but I don't want the longer lashes on the outer sides. Kimber was VERY understanding about what I wanted. She explained what length and amount of volume she was going to use on my lashes to get a glam look without those longer pieces on the side. I showed Kimber a picture of what I wanted and while I thought that's what I wanted she was able to explain why a certain look wouldn't fit my criteria of a "cat eye" I was blown away by her knowledge. Caution- I'm posting this review solely based off the fact that my eyes have been burn hurting since I got them done yesterday at 4pm. I have an eye doctor appointment at 11:15am and I'll keep you updated. The lashes themselves look good and the lady who did my extensions was very sweet. But throughout the process I could smell the fumes of the scotch tape and it was uncomfortable. I have a feeling that is what caused this irritation - They should be using surgical tape and not scotch tape. I feel like there is something in the corner of my eye and the doctor said (over the phone) it might be an infection. I woke up with gunk on my eyes. Here are some photos and I'll update this post with relevant information from my eye doctor at 12pm. My eyes were blotshot red after the application and I was given a mister and fan to hold to my eyes at the salon, hoping for the redness to go down. Most of the redness went away over night, but as you can see from the photos my left eye is red. Update: My eye doctor diagnosed me with corneal abrasion (AKA = scratch on eyeball), in both eyes. Through the eye exam she said she could see a line of scratch in both corners of my eye (I think from the tape). I paid $40 for a doctors visit and $20 for the antibiotics and she said it should heal within 2-3 days. I still think the lady who did my lashes was very sweet and the lashes look good and I have no irritation on the upper lash line. But my experience with eye pain and going to the doctors was unpleasant. read more

Imma lash out for a sec and give some props! So glad i discovered Lash Effects on Groupon. I'm even more thankful to the owner, Stephanie, for allowing me to redeem my voucher after I sheepishly spaced the deadline to use it. Stephanie is so quick to respond and helpful if you send a direct message on here to book with her! Finding her studio on the third floor can be a little... ahem... "fun" the first time. Prime tip: don't expect the suites to be laid out in chronological order lol! Once you do step into her suite, you settle into a small but cozy waiting area graced with modern throw pillows and hip Aubry Hepburn art. A perky, pop satellite radio station croons you in as the glow up approaches. Everything is spotless and it's made clear that every last item has been cleaned and sterilized. Stephanie chatted with me and looked at a few selfies of lash styles I had in the past before deciding on what style to go with. She ended up using two lengths of lashes to achieve what we were aiming for (11/12). I'm fair skinned and wear reading glasses, so I knew I couldn't go too long or bold without it looking ridiculous. I still, however, wanted a thicker / bolder look to my lashes without feeling the need to pile on makeup during hectic mornings. We also talked about how I've experienced thinning in the past with eyelash extensions, and we both agreed using the natural mink extensions caused little to no damage (in comparison to synthetic) and held up best over time between fills. Everything she did was gentle. I didn't feel like my eyes were being taped to infinity during the process, as is so often the case with other lash artists. If she wasn't so nice to talk to, I'd imagine I may probably easily fall asleep on her during future sessions! The best part? Flawless results in a little over an hour (we did a full set this time around). Alternating between the two lash lengths really made a difference! They are lightweight and still give that mascara look. I'm in love with my lashes. Be back soon! read more

This place is such a gem! Affordable service and very clean. I'm very picky with how I like my lashes but my sweet lash artist Kimber always takes the time to listen to my requests and delivers. And her retention is AMAZING!! I barely have any fallout and my lashes stay pretty full even til my fill-in appointment. My kid also loves to poke at my lashes but somehow they still be staying strong! Ugh just so thankful to have found my lash place and now every morning I wake up feeling fabulous. Went to lash effects for the first time and got my lashes done by Crystal. I got the volume full set. I had such a great experience. Crystal was so friendly, easy to talk to and I loved the results of my lashes! She even told me specific ways on how to take care of my lashes and recommended products t The next day, there was a spot in which the lashes fell off for some reason (could've been due to how I slept) but when I reached out, Crystal was willing to fix, no questions asked. Overall, very satisfied with my experience. Update: It's been 3 days since my initial visit to lash effects and so many of my lashes have fallen off. Normally my lashes lasts awhile, definitely not only a few days. On the 1st day, when so many of the lashes fell off, I thought it was just how I slept even though I sleep on my back (not sides). However, I went back in to get a touch up and woke up the next day and the same exact thing happened. I know it wasn't the way I slept. Now today I wake up, and even more have fallen off. This has never happened to me before. It's not a great feeling knowing that every morning when I wake up, I will be expecting to see that lashes to have fallen off. It's a disappointing feeling when the experience was so great but the results aren't lasting. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to lash effects. read more

A couple of disappointing situations I've had with this place. They have been putting less lashes and they come out sooner now so quality has decreased over time since I've been going and they charge the full service of what you're scheduled for if you have to reschedule or cancel due to an emergency or miss it because I live an hour and half away. I get stuck in traffic or something . I've been a long time client and since they charged me for wanting to reschedule I will not be going back. Not worth it. Not a fan. I went there for the first time a week ago and 50% of my lashes have fallen out already. My eyelids are itchy which has never happened when I've gotten my lashes done at other places. I really think they use cheap glue and do not have your lash health in mind. My friend also went there and the same happened to her. She went to a different lash tech than me so I really think that the product that they choose to use is the issue. I won't name the tech that I went to because she was nice, hence the two stars, but I will not be back which is unfortunate because it's very close to where I live. Now a week later, I'm going to have to remove my extensions and try again somewhere else. It's so difficult to find a good lash places . Also fyi, they are really strict on the time allotted for your appointment. My lash tech stopped when the appt was scheduled to be finished, which I get; however she left me with one eye fully done and my other eye looked crazy lol. She wasn't rude or anything but I had to ask if she could just quickly finish the other eye so I don't look ridiculous. Waste of time and money! read more

I've gotten my lashes done by all the lash tech, but my girl to go to is CRYSTAL.. she's amazing at what she does and she'll make you feel so comfortable while she's applying the lashes.
