I hosted a mani party at Lavish for my niece and her bridal party. It was perfect! They allowed me to bring in light snacks, helped me set it up, served mimosas and champagne, and gave each girl a wonderful manicure! Most girls opted for powder/dip or shellac and they were all pleased with the outcome. The bride was especially happy with her nails! They looked beautiful. The salon was clean and relaxing. I am so pleased with my entire experience here. I received a Classic Pedicure. The salon itself was very clean and simple. No awful decor or colors - very pleasing to the eye. Music was mellow, not too loud. There was a minimal wait (less than 10 minutes) and they offered beverages. All utensils were opened from a sterilized package and there were no "cheese grater" heel things in sight! After each client, they even sprayed down the chairs (I've not seen that anywhere else)! When I walked inside, the place is absolutely gorgeous. They did such a nice job with the design of the salon, which is really modern. Hang did my nails and they were so pretty. Went in to get a refill, picked a nude color. When the nail tech finished, it seemed more yellow than the color I originally chose. I didn't mention it, just hoped I'd get used to it because the color difference was no ones fault. I went to check out & the nail tech had already spoken to the owner because she also noticed the color change. The owner offered to fix it. I would have been happy either way but it was nice that they both cared enough to mention it. Now my nails look perfect. I've never experienced such great service at a nail salon. I don't usually do reviews, but the more I look at my nails, the more upset I get. I called ahead today to get a powder manicure. I haven't gotten my nails done in months and I was excited to try a new place to make my spot since I just moved here. The salon is beautiful and modern, very neat and tidy. I don't know the nail techs name that did my nails, but they definitely are not worth the $50 I paid. They turned out really thick and I did point it out to her and she tried to fix it. I don't know if she didn't understand what I meant or if she just didn't want to keep fixing it, but they are still too thick and look kind of crooked. I don't do well with confrontation and didn't want to keep complaining so I sucked it up as good enough and paid and left. The more I look at them the more upset I get and also realize a few other things. I didn't think too much of it at first, but the file was definitely used and not clean, she dipped my nails right into the actual powder container (every other place I've been uses a separate dish for sanitary purposes), there was no manicure. She didn't do my cuticles or put lotion on after or any of that. I basically paid $50 for a terrible dip powder. I'm really disappointed as I leave tomorrow to go to an out of state wedding so I can't even get them fixed, nor do I want to pay again to have them re done. read more

I have to rate this nail salon average. I've been here twice now, the first time I had my natural nails dipped. After leaving I realized she did not put any type of top coat for shine on my nails. Needless to say they did not last the 3-4 weeks that dip nails should. The second time I came in I had my natural nails dipped again, this time the lady was very rushed, and very rough, breaking one of my nails because she attempted to pick off the old product after growing impatient with the soak off. She was very rough with the tool and my cuticles ended up looking horrific when I was done. Even though, I paid an additional $5 to have them cleaned up. She did clean them up at the beginning, but then roughed them up with the tool. After about 3 days I had 2 large cracks in separate nails and will need to get them redone after 2 weeks. Definitely not worth the $45. Customer service has been on point, the gentleman and lady who have been there, greeted me quickly, let me know approximate wait time, and offered me a drink. Won't be back though, between the rough treatment that's supposed to be relaxing and the sub par results, I will go elsewhere. read more
