I canceled through the app, literally wrote "reschedule" in the cancellation, and immediately began choosing another appointment. Less than five minutes later, WHILE I was rescheduling, I received an alert that I had been charged a cancellation fee. I called immediately to explain. Samara's response was unexpectedly aggressive and confrontational. She repeatedly told me I should have known about the 24-hour policy because I had previously called in sick and rescheduled. I genuinely did not know. I wasn't trying to skip an appointment--I had already prepaid and was actively rebooking. I even asked her to simply put me back on the original appointment rather than charge me. She refused. Unfortunately, the way that interaction was handled has made me deeply uncomfortable returning. Brazilian waxing is an intimate service, and I do not feel comfortable walking into a studio knowing I may have to interact with someone after an experience like that. I have tried extensively to resolve this privately: FOUR written contacts to the studio, countless phone calls, and repeated requests for management assistance. The manager has left me one voicemail, but I have still not had a meaningful resolution. When I call, Samara continues to answer. I have 11 Brazilian sessions and 1 lower-leg session remaining--$604.50 in prorated unused prepaid services. At this point, I'm not asking to continue receiving services. I am asking the studio to refund the $604.50 I prepaid for services I no longer feel comfortable receiving here. I have now contacted EWC Corporate and filed complaints with both the BBB and South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs because I don't know what else to do to get someone to meaningfully address this. I'm not confrontational and have genuinely tried to handle this calmly and privately. I just want my unused prepaid money returned so I can move on. I will update this review if the studio resolves the situation.

I called in to see if I could do a walk in for sugaring & was told told there was only one person that did sugaring would be available but I need to be there before she left & if not I could been seen by someone else not not sugar wax . I said ok advice I would TRY TO MAKE IT there but traffic was very bad. I called once I saw it was impossible to make it & asked if I could just be seen whoever was there. Few minutes later I received a call back saying I scheduled an appointment which I never scheduled I was told if I got there in time & my name was never given they expressed this when I showed up the next day that they cancelled my last appointment. I wasn't pleased with them making me an appointment after I clearly stated I was coming from the Simpsonville location upset and they scheduled an appointment. I even paid for membership but was told I could be able to use membership only at Pelham location after I had sign & paid for membership. I was under the impression that membership could be used for any location.

My appointments never take 30min unless the person don't know what they are doing! Then they have a 15min speeding wax option on their website but stated none of their employees that are in today can do the 15min wax! Why?! Everyone should know how to complete a wax fast.
