A great neighborhood place that serves good coffee at a good price. The owner/barista is wonderfully talented and somewhat of a celebrity. It is right off the freeway so if you need a drink and are in the area take the exit and do yourself a favor and grab a good cup of coffee. read more

Yikes. Chilly is the right word. We came in here for the first time to get breakfast and coffee, the space looked great as we walked in! It's decorated beautifully, but YIKES! We weren't greeted when we walked in- unless you count a stare down and glare as a hello. It could have been just us (a very plain and basic couple), since everyone after us received a hello or good morning. The menu is hard to decipher, it's artistic but not clear. There's a table to the left, we aren't sure if it's display only of what they offer or where you're supposed to get your food. I say that because when we picked up our food the gentleman at the counter gave us the dirtiest look and went back to get more and restock. Coffee was pretty pricey and nothing special. Honestly when I come into a shop for coffee in this area, the coffee is about 40% and the customer service is 60%. I might expect to be snubbed or treated condescendingly at a snobby Portland coffee shop but when I came to a Ridgefield coffee shop off the beaten path, I certainly did not. The owner took our order and proceeded to rip my head off for asking for a free pour latte. I admit I havent been a barista in about five years and things are always changing in coffee but to demean devalue and belittle your customers is never okay- not even in Portland. They serve Stumptown so the coffee is obviously good and the baristas are well trained but the customer service is abusive. The barista tried to make up for it with friendly chit chat but the lady who took our order (and is the owner) was horrible to us. Would never return here for anything and highly recommend you find coffee elsewhere if you want to be treated like a human being and want to enjoy the rest of your day. read more

I am in the process of moving to Ridgefield from across the river in Oregon. I stopped in for a coffee prior to unloading my items into my new house. This is the only coffee location close to the freeway. The parking lot is a bit small for the small for the amount of business in the strip mall. I ordered a medium black coffee and it wasn't fresher brewed. It was poured from a carafe and was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for fresher coffee but I did stop in about 1000 and the morning rush passed by. I grabbed a muffin to go for a snack and wished there was a bit more of a selection in food items. I may have visited on an off day so I will try again down the road. read more

My favorite coffee shop to stop at, the coffee drinks are always wonderful, no matter what you order, and staff is so kind and friendly!

The nicest place in town to work and have coffee. No obnoxious loud music, great seating, lots of outlets to charge. They also have a no wifi rule before 11am or so to promote social interaction. Two small two person tables outside incase you want some fresh air and most importantly, the coffee is great! read more

Stopping through to get coffee on the way back home, we stopped in what we thought would be a nice coffee shop. Talking to the barista, we expressed our love for coffee and how we have our own espresso machine at home. The barista stated as "a professional" that she advises we should not waste our time trying to do it at home and we should just spend money at coffee shops instead in a very pretentious and snobby tone as if we didn't know what we were doing. As she continued insulting us and reminding us about how professional she is, we stood there and watched her burn our espresso shots. This is a great place in Ridgefield. It's located right near the I-5, so anyone travelling near Ridgefield should stop by. The baristas seem to be very knowledgeable and well trained. The coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are always so delicious. I'm glad that this location is so close to where I live. This location is fairly small and quiet, which is nice if you want to hang around and work on homework. Unfortunately, they do not offer wifi. So if you want to do any work on a computer, you will have to do without the Internet. read more

They have stumptown coffee. A bit steep at $3.50 for a double Americano but it's most definitely good coffee.

Best and most consistent coffee and espresso around. I've been a customer for 5+ years and am an admitted coffee snob, and when I want coffee out that's where I go. Stumptown beans, the owner has a relationship with the roasters, and she teaches all of her baristas how to do it right. She even gives me tips about how to make better espresso at home.
