We had our wedding here 6/2019 and enjoyed this venue immensely. Our guests could not say enough good things about the venue and how impressed they were with the overall feel. It's nice that it is private and only one event is held every week so there is a lot of time to set up/tear down without issues. The bridal suite is large and very easy to accommodate a large bridal party. The grounds are very well maintained and just beautiful. Mary, the venue coordinator is very easy to work with and makes you feel very comfortable that everything will go off without a hitch - which is exactly what happened. There are multiple options for the catering, we chose prime rib and teriyaki chicken with multiple sides. We had many guests complimenting us on the food - some saying it was the best wedding food they have had! We had a great day, beautiful scenery and a wonderful night of festivities. We have also stopped by for brunch at this venue which is also fantastic. We happened to go on a day that there was live music which was so good. There are a lot of options for the brunch - too many to have them all. It's a very relaxed environment and doesn't feel like a busy restaurant that you just get pushed through. We highly recommend stopping for brunch in a little wooded getaway.

Great for events. We meet family for Easter, and my Fire Department has the awards banquet here.

So kind and helpful and really wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. They let us know exactly what to expect before the wedding and what was our responsibility vs theirs. Everything was clean, green, and just beautiful. There are so many different spots to take photos and the bridal suit was perfect for getting ready. Parking was super easy and we had one of our friends drive down those who couldn't walk as far. Worked great. When looking for a venue I wanted to make sure there was a solid backup plan for if it rains. This venue has the most beautiful inside reception area that can easily be made into a ceremony area. A DREAM venue for a Washington bride.

We spotted a retirement bus parked by, we know, if they're doing an outing and have to stop here for lunch, instead of eating in, then we picked a good spot. We were seated right away, wherever we wanted. I picked a table big enough for two, although I would have preferred the window spot, I was being nice by letting bigger crowds take the bigger table. We were given menu, and ordered right away. I thought, I was just going to have soup, the beef soup sounds appealing. But, I got 1/2 a Roast Beef sandwich, and found that in the Kiddie/Senior page. Hubby ordered the hamburger & cheese. Both came with pickles on the side. He's got potato salad, which we shared. I haven't had a Roast Beef sandwich, in such a long time, and with light mayo and mustard, and sliced of tomatoes & lettuce, it was just the perfect size and it was the homemade goodness, I had been looking for! We're glad, we made a quick stop here, before we went on our outing. Actually, we were planning to have a picnic by the lake, like we did during COVID, but seeing the retirement bus in the parking lot, made us forget what we planned to do. I was hoping, I'd recognize the people there, because it's a retirement home that I sometimes visit, or them recognizing me. But, it didn't happened. It also didn't happened, that the U-pick farm was sold! But, we weren't happy with the result, we got to stop here, for a relaxing bonding with hubby!

It's now been 4 years since my wedding, but to this day I will never forget how my special day was quickly ruined due to an unorganized business who truly lacked passion for the wedding industry. Many things went wrong. First only the owner and her daughter were apparently running the entire show that day. They forgot to take off a sign on the front door of the venue which read "use side door". So my guests were coming through the WRONG door and they all seen me in my wedding gown before the ceremony even started. Huge mistake. Everyone was confused, as people were told to turn around and use the front entrance, but it was too late. Then the ceremony started promptly, there was no waiting period for all the guests to arrive, let alone be seated. Instead it began right away and guests were still being seating during the actual ceremony. So any guests running a tad late either missed most, if not all of it. Family members later told me that the actual ceremony was the "quickest" one they had ever seen. Apparently it was only about 16-20 minutes long, that's it! This included the sand pouring and everything. The owner said she had performed many weddings in her lifetime and basically insisted she could be the wedding officiant as well as the coordinator. I was debating on hiring another officiant, but she assured me she was a pro. This was the worst mistake ever!! She was quick in her speech, rushed through everything, she had ZERO emotion on stage, she lacked passion, her delivery was very script and empty. It was not heartfelt at all. Even if she would had faked it, this would had been better that what I got. After the ceremony she rushed us out of the building, and was rude to some in our wedding party and even guests complained about her. I think the only positive was the beautiful venue and great backdrop for pictures. Other than that the negatives far outweigh any positives.
