This is a must stop if you're in Ridgeway. Such a beautiful shop. The food was delicious and the people were beyond lovely. Bodies was our server and he was so kind. Save room for the cake at the end!! Note that the upstairs tea room is by reservation only but we did the Cafe Tea Service for two and it was perfect.

Absolutely wonderful experience and fantastic food!! The service was friendly and attentive! Food was so delightful, from the wonderful teas, and sandwiches, and yummy desserts! I will definitely be coming back!

What an amazing experience. We love the age of the building and how it's much bigger on the inside. The food is excellent and service is friendly and great. If you like tea this is your place. Try the French Dip.

We had high tea with my two girls and mom and it exceeded our expectations! The experience was a blast and the food was amazing! The chicken salad will have me coming back! Definitely a new tradition with my ladies to celebrate Mother's Day!

We ventured the hour and a half drive up to Ridgeway, SC to have Christmas tea at Laura's Tea Room. As always, they did not disappoint! The atmosphere, the sandwiches, the treats, and of course, the tea are top notch. We took my Aunt for her first time and she couldn't stop raving about the service and the presentation. If you're looking for an authentic British tea, this is the only place in Georgia-Carolina that this tea snob would recommend!

    A must-do!

My sister and I had a wonderful afternoon at Laura's Tea Room! The entire experience was fun and the tea and food were delicious. I don't even want to share what we were served because we didn't know what to expect and we loved everything, the surprise was part of the fun! The service was impeccable as well. The store is just adorable with lots to look through and great prices.

Lauras Tea Room is a delightful place. A deli downstairs with seating and a TV. Upstairs is the "tea room" with walls full of hats. There is a lovely gift shop downstairs as well. We had 1:45 reservations for the tea room and were seated promptly. Our table was decorated nicely and we were greeted by friendly staff. The staff made our experience one I will never forget. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. A cold tea was served along with our choice of a hot tea. The Moroccan mint tea was absolutely wonderful served over ice. I cannot wait to return

The high tea experience is wonderful! I was able to request a gluten free menu when I made the reservation, and the staff was careful to make sure my food was gluten free, including the teacake and the scone. The upstairs room is beautiful and the service was excellent. Will definitely go again.

My favorite place to have tea! Everything was so delicious and well made! Even our picky kiddo was excited about trying new things! We had lots of fun trying on hats and taking silly pictures!

I have been looking for a place that offers high tea for quite some time. Laura's Tea Room came up on my Facebook feed randomly. This happened to be the same place that my mother-in-law's late sister would go by all the time when they were in town. So to take my MIL meant the world to me because she's been struggling to deal with her lost a few months ago. We had a blast. Everything from the teas to the different courses to the experience was amazing. I can't wait to take my little girls here one day to get the full experience as it is quite out of the ordinary.

I decided to treat my 4 year old to her first real tea party and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The town was gorgeous and the restaurant was cozy and whimsical. We chose to order "Tea with Grandma". $23/per person included tea, scone, and an assorted tray of sandwiches and desserts. It was just perfect. Everything was delicious and delightful. We loved the detailed kitty design on Nutella cinnamon bread and the shamrock cucumber sandwiches, and getting to choose your own tea cup was so much fun.

A beautiful spot for high tea. Great for celebrations or just a fun lunch! We had the full tea service and it was awesome. Two pots of tea and the daily iced tea. 3 courses of delicious, fresh food. Plus the shop was full of adorable tea themed items!

Service was quick, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming--especially thanks to the owner, who is absolutely adorable and always greets guests with a big smile. The steamed egg is one of my favorite sides. We also tried the crispy tofu appetizer and the popcorn chicken rice bowl. The tofu was super crispy and flavorful, though the popcorn chicken could use a touch more seasoning. To top it all off, I had a green tea with boba, and the boba was cooked perfectly as always--soft and chewy with just the right texture. Highly recommend JJ's for a cozy lunch with delicious food and friendly service!

The place was filthy, like dirty chairs and tables, bugs in the floor, filthy... the menu screens weren't working, and there were very little products available. No "hello" "how can I help you" nothing, just stared at me as I looked at the menu... it was awkward and uncomfortable so I left. Do better.

The place seems to be pretty cool, they have a decent area if you want to hang out and enjoy your drink. The space is small so it's not meant for a long stay. However, I was highly disappointed in the drink to ice ratio. I ordered a small Thai tea, I'm guessing the cup is between 8-12oz for the price of $4.99z The cup is mostly filled with ice. No exaggeration, 3 sips and I was done. If I was still in the area, I would've returned and complain in person. If I visit again, I'll be sure to order with light ice or no ice. I highly suggest you do the same. The large cup is $5.65. I really hope my experience is a one off but if it's not, inflation does not justify this expensive cup of ice with 3 sips of drink.

I found a hidden gem in Columbia South Carolina. Honestly had ZERO interest in visiting this city,…read moreuntil I realized this was the closest (by hours) place for experiencing a high-tea (or afternoon tea.) Generally organized as a social club, co-working space for WFH or self-employed individuals, there is this tiny little separate piece just for those with refined taste for great food, teas, and cultural experiences lost to most of the US. The owner is one-of-a-kind. She is a true GEM! She made most of the small bites, finger sandwiches, scones, and delectables herself in the attached kitchen of this very large (and historic) home, and gets the tea locally. She caters to the needs of those dining for the tea service in every way possible and I am BEGGING her to open one in Greenville. HA! My friends and I witnessed a few people quietly working in rented rooms (we went exploring) but it was honestly very peaceful and empty. The house was so big you could literally get lost in it. We were seated in the old parlor/entry room of the home, sipped our tea in the morning light, as intended in a home of that grandeur, and giggled and ooed over how amazing every single detail was. You have to call in advance to make reservations, and the owner is feeling-out interest for this kind of thing, but my advice is call NOW, today! Make a reservation and head to Columbia, make an experience of it. Because it. was. worth. it. And SO affordable compared to other tea experiences I have had in other areas of the country. Small details: Parking was free out front, its a big pink house (you cant miss it) and definitely demand a scone to take home in advance. it will be worth it.
