Maria and Rhyan, both Physical Therapist and the founders of St Jude Agency are nothing less than Very Professional. They staff their agency with the most professional and very personable medical in the business. They treat my Mom as if she was their own Mother and their expertise in their profession will direct a patient only one way and thats to the road to recovery. She got the ball rolling right there on the spot and had a list of people from P. T. and nurses I would be seeing for the next few weeks. I couldn't think of any other people I'd rather have taking care of me after surgery then the people at A Plus Home Health Care . There's Amareet, ( I don't know if I've spelled any of their names correctly ), nurse Cathy, Delma, Robert and Kathleen from P.T. Each one of these people were caring and skilled at their job. Kathleen was just the best. From my well-thought-out exercise regimen to answering all my questions which people tend to have a lot of after having surgery. She called Robert in to have a look at my hip for the amount of swelling I was having. It was great having someone to talk to that who was able to put you at ease and let you know that what you were experiencing was normal . Having a provider come to you after a major surgery is a total game changer. Mary is a kind and trustworthy person that I've felt comfortable having in my home on a weekly basis. Mary started to treat me one week post op, treating me for 90 mins, 1-2 times per week for the first 2 months of recovery. I have undergone two hip reconstructions and I didn't have at "home care" acupuncture post op for those and I can feel the difference. I looked and felt dead when Mary first saw me. I had been heavily drugged for a week post an intense surgery that repaired my back from my stomach. She helped open the channels of energy so I could wake up my body and start regulating my body temperature. She helped restore my stomach so I could process food, bring energy to areas that felt dead, comforted pain when I was too immobile to help myself, and detox! Major surgery is no joke and it's taken months to feel normal. However, Mary's acupuncture allowed me to heal faster, I was able to drive sooner and get myself to my own appts. And every injury I had since then, I felt completely taken care of and on the quickest path to recovery. In the years since then I've learned that this kind of experience is not necessarily common. I had only ever been to a chiropractor once prior, and I was nervous about what to expect and if it would be safe at such an advanced stage of pregnancy. Dr. Latza was incredibly thorough and immediately put me at ease. She took the time to explain how the muscular and skeletal systems work together and outlined our approach: a strategic combination of stretching, massaging, and tractioning to get me mobile again. The results were immediate and shocking! When I first arrived, I needed assistance just to get up the stairs to her office. The screwed up helath insurance payment system dictates this for these businesses to be viable. I am a retired doctor and know this firsthand. What separates "Dr. Bob" is that he works one-on-one with you during your sessions. And he doesn't waste time having you do your "homework" exercises for him each time. He trusts that you're regularly doing your part. He does test you to confirm that, but the commitment is implied and it's based on mutual respect. Also, he didn't myopically focus on my shoulder as he insisted we work on strengthening the kinetic chain to improve mechanics and lessen the load on my shoulder. Dr. Bob's PT helped me heal my third rotator cuff injury, avoid another surgery, and I returned to the tennis court, surprisingly with a better serve. The shoulder is strong and stable, which shows up in many other parts of my game, bringing the joy of competitive high-level tennis back into my life. I'm so grateful for all the help and encouragement from the staff, especially for the Physical Therapy Department! I literally could not even lift up my leg to put it on the bed. I highly recommend going to the Pleasanton nursing rehab because after 12 days I was able to walk out with my walker. I returned home and was able to take care of myself.
