If you push him for care (testing) the curated nice tone of voice and nice guy mask drops and he has no problem asserting his MD power over you to make you feel small and disarm you to feel powerless. Anyone that gives him a good review must not have chronic illness and goes for routine annual exams or a flu. You can tell he is just an MD employee for Facey. Caring more for protocols and quotas than individual plan of care. Facey the medical group is priority over the patient care. Office staff was fair. Witnessed them a few times talking negatively about patients.

The kitchen staff does a excellent job creating tasty and nutritious meals. The administration staff walks the fine line of corporate needs and patient needs. it is necessary to advocate for yourself at times, but that is actually a healthy part of your rehabilitation process in my eyes. I was a patient here for over a month, during that time I met some amazing people on their staff! One thing to consider when you're coming from a hospital environment or a critical care unit, this isn't that. You won't get a 2 second response on the call light, and your needs may be met in order received. be patient be understanding, be courteous to the staff and it will return to you tenfold. be sure to ask questions, advocate for yourself.

However, after some very stressful events in life my PVCs started to rapidly rise. Overall I would say outside of dealing with PVCs Dr. Thaik was through in testing and monitoring and providing options like nutrition as a means of addressing heart health. However, once my PVCs started to rise she wanted to immediately put me on medication. I was concerned of course but also wanted to understand the root cause. Why was I suddenly experiencing these PVCs. Rather than having other means to investigate she wanted me to start medication. When I asked if we could address other factors to find the root cause she became upset and even recorded a statement to dictate and record that I was not willing to start the medication right away. Needless to say that is when I stop going here. And also, happy to say that I'm proud for trusting my gut and getting several opinions. Which eventually lead me to less than 2% PVCs without out taking one pill or any procedure. It took a Dr. the was willing to observe me while I worked on addressing several potential root causes. I was bummed because before the PVCs w/o any issues she was a good Dr. Who offered meditation, nutrition and testing as options. But the holistic aspect of her approach is limited once a concern arises.

Dr. Stark seemed to me to be very empathetic and non judgemental. He outlined a range of treatment options everything from replacement therapy to possible in patient care. When we finally decided on a (at the time) just approved drug which quite expensive he spent a lot of timc onsulting/conferencing/or arguing with the Insurance companies to make sure my medication was always covered. On a quick side note by a couple of reviews who have complained about it being a practice that is strictly in the business of collecting fees. Dr. Starks practice did have a pharmacy on site but the doctor always took time to explain which medications were absolutely necessary.\n And which medications could have potential benefits butt were maybe not absolutely mandatory. He proves that a doctor's visit doesn't need to be hours long to be thorough, thoughtful, detailed, effective, and--most importantly--to make you feel genuinely seen and heard. He's kind, funny, caring, attentive, and has a way of immediately putting your mind at ease. I left feeling completely confident that my health is in very good hands. I'm newly postpartum, and he has been wonderful in helping me navigate the reins of this new chapter and come up with a plan for a truly healthy future so I can be my best self for my baby.
