Do not go to this place, avoid it and go somewhere else, even if you have to drive another 5-10 minutes you will have a better experience ANYWHERE ELSE (If zero stars were possible I would give it.) The card machines dont work and the staff is non existent. I dropped off my clothes with their service and they said to come at 6 to pick them up. I show up at 6 and the clothes are nowhere to be found and nobody at the desk. Just a sign that said "Back in 12 minutes". I waited AN HOUR and nobody showed up at 7; during this time of waiting I saw several people try to load money on the laundry cards and the machine kept giving errors saying they need to talk to the staff, except nobody was there to help any of us. I decided to do other errands and come back an hour later, before leaving I changed the sign from "back in 12 minutes", to "120 minutes". When I came back at 8 the place was still empty and the sign I left was untouched (if somebody HAD returned they would have certainly changed the sign.) Again, avoid this place, do laundry anwhere else and you will have a better experience, the irony is that the sign says that it only takes 2 minutes to pick up your clothes when it should say more like 2 hours. At TEN PM (FOUR HOURS past when it would be finished, I went in and looked for my laundry and found my clothes and took them home) Lesson learned, go to the dry cleaners read more

Updating my review since it's been a couple years and I've been here a couple more times. I'm a little annoyed that I choose HOT water on the machine and you can clearly feel the glass is cold when the items are being washed. Ive tested this on numerous visits and it varies each time. Sometimes the glass window is warm, which means it's working correctly...and sometimes it's cold. Which means its definitely not. I don't know if they purposefully turn off the hot water and hope people don't notice. If this happens to you...make sure to bring it up to an employee so they can fix the stupid machines.... read more

Well, I have to give this place 5-Stars and although it is more expensive here, I understand why. The place is in emasculate condition. 98% of the equipment are in-service, the facility is clean beyond what I'm accustomed to seeing around the country. Even the reservoir dispensers on each washer are like new. The bathrooms control customer usage by the use of a key-card, the same one customers use for the washer a dryers. The dryers cost is a whopping .42 cents for 12 minutes is quite still and although this place is super well maintained, I would look for other alternative more competitive laundry facilities if I were going to be a frequent user. There are many wash-n-dry businesses in this general area to compare the price point and overall status of Laundrymat. read more

My first time here, I was in the area so I wanted to give it a shot This place is nice and clean, I give it that. BUTTTTT the prices are really inconvenient for you. Washers are $2.30, $4.35 and so on, the dryers are $0.42. so when you think you have enough change for your last load you're literally a couple cents off, so you need to put more money on your card, it has to be card or cash, I was 3 cents off for another load. I don't come here often so it's a waste to have money on the card that I barely use. read more

Super clean and modern facilities. I opted for their drop off service. Picked up clothes the next day and they were all fresh and folded professionally. Just as good as it gets for this kind of place. Will totally come back when in town. So glad I found this place. Saw a couple of other places and nothing else was a nice,clean or inviting. They have this great wide open space that seems to be always open. So today I came in with 9 loads of laundry and after getting my laundry in, I needed to use the wifi (which i was counting on) to get some work done. If I'm gonna be somewhere for 3 hours, it would be a great thing to offer up to your customers. Secondly, I went to the lobby to sit on the completely empty couches or chair to read a book at least , and was now chased out of there saying that "was for tanning customers only!" I understand if there were people actually coming in to tan, but not one single person came in to tan the entire time I was there , yet spending $45 (give or take) wasn't worthy enough to sit in a more comfortable chair for 3 hours while I waited. The staff is all Mexicans who barely speak English, and the one guy who did had long hair and was covered with crappy tattoos, and was looking at me like he wanted to fight me for sitting in a leather chair. Typical business with great potential , ran by morons with no customer service skills or hospitality sense. Furthermore, they could care less. Don't waste your $ here unless you're a Mexican and maybe they will favor you instead. White people are tossed aside in this place, like I even expect anything other than a) English please b) a little gratitude for patronizing your business a- holes. read more

WORST PLACE EVER!! PLEASE don't let the good looks fool you! My mom live 5 mins away...she normally wash her comforters and blankets there. When they first opened, they were handing out dollar for dollar laundry cards. You buy $10, and they give you a $10 card. So here's the issue.. she didn't use the card they give her, she only had to use the card that she bought with the $10 on it. When she went back to use it, it was empty. She approached the person there, and they would not help, or offer to replace it. She was DONE with them at that point. Now, my issue.. I was doing laundry at my moms house, and her dryer stop working. So, I drove down the street to this location to dry 3 loads. The cost to dry is $.49 for 12 mins. I combined 2 loads in the larger dryer, and another small load right next to it. I paid for 2 sessions, which cost $.98 for 24mins. At the end of both loads, my clothes were NOT dry. I mentioned it to the attendant on duty, and she seemed surprised that the clothes did not dry, but offered to do NOTHING. NOW, I'M DONE, with this place. I've used other laundromats, and my clothes has always been dried with 2 sessions. So, onward and upward. read more

There have numerous times that the tanning booths are down due to a software problem when signing in. I am going to start documenting it here. 12/26/2015 7:45am Tanning beds are down. While driving home from work I saw this Laundry World Tanning place so I went in to check on tanning prices. They have 3 different levels that you can purchase. Level 1 is $19.99 for a month of tanning, so i thought I would give it a try. You buy a $20 Laundry Card and they set you up with a PIN and a fingerprint scan, so it becomes self service. You go to a computer screen with your PIN and select your room for Level 1. Level 1 has SS 775 tanning beds which are quite nice for Level 1. The tanning bed auto starts 5 minutes after you select it, so you need to be quick. There's a music option, but I could get it to work in the tanning bed. It's hard to beat for the price. read more

This laundromat is located in the Hoffman Village Shopping Center. While not 24 hours, it is open late and is a useful place for me to get laundry done on the days that I have to come in to work over the weekend and I just can't put off my laundry any longer. It uses a card that you upload money onto rather than coin-operated machines. It is a little bit pricier than other laundry places but it makes up for this by being clean, bright and spacious, and because all of the machines on the premises actually work (or are clearly marked and quickly repaired if they do not). No laundry place will make doing laundry fun, but some can make the experience less of a chore, and this is one of them. read more

They will forever stay in my heart and offer me a wisp of a smile as I look back on my important time at laundry land! I host Airbnb and need to drop linens and bedding off at a laundry service. I really wanted to like this location, but did not have a good experience even after tipping. The woman who works there didn't have a working calculator and didn't help put money on the card required (other location helps because it can be tricky). No one was at the front desk to give me my laundry for a good 10 minutes, it was hardly folded when I picked it up. I do not recommend using the drop off service at this location. read more

First time here hate that carts can't be taken to get laundry from car. I didn't plan to return because of the hassle for myself a handicapped person to get laundry inn. However the worker Irma was wonderful, becuase of how great she is, friendly, helpful and overall the epitome of good customer service she changed my mind. read more

Very clean and fast laundry. The larger machines finish in just 22 minutes wash and I usually do 2-3 dry cycles for a total of 40 minutes. Somewhat pricy but worth it not to use coins read more

DO NOT GO HERE!... Just finished two loads of laundry and immediately discovered several hundreds of $$$$$ of clothing damaged by Laundry World's dryer's. Someone strategically placed an ink pen refill in a dryer , which bleed all over my clothing and my babies clothing! Although, I initially looked in the dryer for any debris that the cleaning staff might have missed, I did not see the clothing terrorists pen. Laundry World's clientele at this location has a few LOSERS!!!! and I will not bring my business back or recommend this particular location to anyone! read more

We only use the dryers since we have a washer at home, we got to laundry world at 10:01...the door says open to 12:00 midnight but last wash is at 10:00...the guy wouldn't let us in and we told him we were just drying and he just shook his head no and pointed to the words of last wash... I have been getting my king comforters washed and dried here since it opened. But last weekend I got a very unpleasant surprise. By the time I had reached to pick up my comforter on Saturday night, it had already closed so I went back on Sunday only to hear that no one has seen the comforter. A talk with the manager was useless since I was told that they are not responsible for things that stay overnight. Really? Their store is closed and locked? Where can the comforter disappear? So I have been going here for a while, and I haven't had any issues until this morning. I had washed my queen blanket and no problem.. then I put it to dry, here is where everything went south. First of all, I purchased this blanket yesterday from Khols down the street. Anyways, the dryers all look alike. I placed the blanket inside the nearest dryer, it fit well enough for me to stick my hands and move it around to even out from drying. 10 minutes later, I stopped to move the blanket around and to my surprise, I noticed a couple of black skids on my new blanket! I immediately looked for the attendant that does not speak/understand English. Fortunately, I do speak Spanish. After I got her to come see the blanket, she blamed me. She defended her employer as If I was going to court or something. No sympathy. I simply explained, what happens when the dryer damages the blanket? Again she blamed me..I used the wrong dryer. I know at this point she is scared to loose her job, because she was figgidy and repeating that I used the wrong dryer. OK. So then I said, can you give me your manager's information? She flat out said no. Now I'm getting no where. I look around and sure enough, I see no manager or management information so I asked for her to call him, can you do that? She smiled and walk towards the front cashier to grab the phone. Wow I was beginning to think, I was asking for way too much. Anyhow, she walked next door to the tanning salon, with the phone. OMG. really, so she didn't care to let me in on what she was doing so I took my blanket to the car, came back and waited..She then came around just to tell me, the manager said the same thing. I used the wrong dyer. I asked if I can get his information? She dodged the question and tells me, maybe you should wash it again. OK, I have to go to work, so that's not an option for me. I just wanted to speak with the manager, its always best to speak to a manager, because their is so much a worker can do. But I figured I can google his information. This lady was no help, very defensive not apologetic to my situation. I will contact the manager and hopefully get something done. Until then, I will not be returning here. read more

i love the tanning beds they actually work and are very clean and the price is cheap as well as for the washers and driers and if you get snackey while doing laundry their is a marionos nearby as well as vending machines. :) read more
