I have been going there for a long time. The service is timely and friendly. The owner is knowledgeable about the clothes being cleaned and the products that she uses . I ask for her advice and feel right about her answers. read more

She is amazing and trustworthy. Always on time and careful with my belongings. Thanks Ceci!!

If you're looking for a trustworthy dry cleaning service around the city this is the place to come check out! Very nice and friendly staff. Quick turnaround within 24 hours! Good prices with good services! Can't go wrong, 10/10 recommend! read more

Used this dry-cleaning place on 2 occasions - I handed her a dress for alteration. She did the alteration and rolled my dress in a plastic bag and stuffed it in a bin wrinkling the dress beyond use. I requested her to steam it and she did but you know what she used? LEFTOVER WATER FROM HER STEAMED BOKCHOY that left my dress smelling like it. I had to take it to another dry-cleaner to clean it out - Year later I gave a white long dress for 'dry cleaning' but this cunning lady hand- washed my dress leaving it smelling full of detergent while still charging me a dry cleaning price. A crook with no integrity read more

They completely ruined a pair of my pants and refused to acknowledge it -- wouldn't even redo it and wanted me to pay again. The woman who runs this store is rude. read more

Lost three articles of clothes in two washes. Definitely did not use my detergent, questionable if any detergent. Sheets are not clean at all, have to get my stuff rewashed. Damp socks in finished bag. read more

Living in a 6th floor walk-up, I found it to be a chore trekking my laundry multiple blocks away. So, i found this spot, about half a block from my apartment, so I thought it would be a good choice. the good: same day wash and fold nothing lost in the wash very convenient the bad: not friendly staff on the pricier ($1.10 per pound, $10 min) they round up the pricing per pound (see below) unscented detergent Today, they weighed the laundry my laundry when I dropped off and gave me the receipt and when I came to pick up, they added a pound to the price. I asked them if they normally do this and the lady mentioned, "sometimes." Uh, that's not cool. I go here weekly and they also generally round up a pound when they weigh, though it didn't really bother me because I knew the price didn't magically go up. I won't go back in principle. I'll walk the extra few blocks! read more

A cozy local mom-and-pop place with a quirky name to take your laundry and dry-cleaning to. But their true SUPER-POWER is mending and fixing your clothes and giving them a second life. They will take on most complex jobs no one else will dare to...they can fix leather or suede things! or even replace zippers!!! Over the years, I've been to many places in the neighborhood, and sometimes those would try to charge so much that there was no choice but to toss the thing away altogether. I'm so happy to finally have found a place that has reasonable prices. They literally have a sign inside that says "We fix anything!" :) And no, it's not a marketing hype. I have taken some pieces there that were super-challenging, and they did a fantastic job, and even used an invisible thread to make my clothes look like new! And last, but not the least, the couple that runs the place is super-sweet. They welcome each customer with warmth and respect. I hope this place stays in business forever and has many appreciative customers! I know I am one. read more

Laundry To You, was recommended to me by Linda from the DL Cerney store.I had a favorite linen shirt that was worn out in the collar. John who is a master tailor from Indonesia,@removed the collar and reversed it. Absolute genius. He saved the shirt. He also altered my suit from Brooks Brothers making it less boxy. My suit from Zegna needed a little bit more room in the front and he altered it perfectly. Superb tailoring at more than reasonable prices. Thanks John. read more

Been dropping off my laundry here for wash & fold for months. Same day service as long as I drop off before 10ish AM for very reasonable prices. I separate my delicates and better quality gym clothes that don't go in the dryer beforehand and ask that bag to be washed separate with scented detergent -- everything always comes back very neatly folded and they have never lost or damaged an item! The owners couldn't be nicer, warmer people! They even gave me candy during the Chinese New Year and I loved it so much they would get me more from a bag in the back :) this place is a staple in my rotation of neighborhood services read more

I've lived in the East Village for more than 11 years, but only yesterday discovered D & M. I went in yesterday to drop off laundry for pick up today, and had no idea what to expect. The man and woman working there were unfailingly polite, offer competitive prices, and now - today, having picked up my laundry - I can say that they provide an excellent service. Now only was my laundry folded; it was wrapped in a plastic bag. They even put socks in a separate bag! This is a high-quality establishment with excellent service. I will be returning, and I suggest that if you live in the neighborhood and are looking for a great laundry service, avoid Cosmo's and go here - that is, if you're looking to drop off and pick up, as they do not offer the option of washing your clothing yourself. Excellent. Professional. Superb. Any number of superlatives apply. read more

Don't ever go to this place -- they lost my really nice shirt and refused to reimburse me! When I came in to pick up my laundry (numerous times), they kept saying my shirt wasn't ready. 3 weeks later, I went back and found out that they lost my shirt. They were rude, disrespectful, and I will never go back there again...these are horrible people!!! read more

Love this place! I use them for both wash and fold and dry cleaning. Prices are reasonable. They're a nice, family run business. The puppy who hangs in the shop is an added bonus! read more

Really friendly and professional. Always fast and high quality. They even taught me the difference between machine press and hand press. A hand press doesn't damage shirt buttons, but a machine press can crack them. Highly recommend this place. read more

I lived in the building next to it so convenience was a major factor of me using their services. With that said, you can't go wrong with them. They seem to be family owned and everyone is exceedingly polite and welcoming. They even make sure to say my name when greeting! It's about $1/lb (my load usually ends up being around 20-30 dollars if I haven't done laundry in 2 weeks) and if you drop off your wash and fold laundry from like 7:30-11am ish, you'll get it done by night (6-7:30pm). Everything's cleaned, folded, and put in clear bags to separate different clothing items. They even accept credit card! (After 10-15 dollars I think). I highly recommend them! read more

I use them for wash and fold laundry They are very efficient and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. This cleaning service lost 4 of my bras, 2 of my mesh delicates bags that the bras and underwear were supposed to be washed in, and in turn all underwear was destroyed. They lost/ruined over $200 worth of my things and take no responsibility for this. After dealing with this for months, the best they could do was refund me $20 and wash their hands clean of the entire situation. They now claim to have a policy of not being responsible for these types of situations, but this policy should be clearly stated to customers before customers trust them for their services. Awful experience. read more

This is small local economic mom and pop place that was literally next door to me. So given those criteria is does the job and does it well. Quick service (usually same day service for the same price) for wash and fold at relatively competitive prices. Brought my clothes here weekly for over a year...darks kept dark and nothing was ever ruined or missing. Removed a star for extra charge on "low heat" drying though. read more

This was our go-to wash and fold and dry cleaning spot for a full three years. Never a lost or stained item, always prompt service. Most importantly, greeting and chatting with the family was a highlight of my day every time. Such a warm and friendly place, they really care about their customers. read more

Desperately wanted to frequent this shop, but their service leaves room for improvement. Used their wash & fold service on numerous occasions, and unfortunately opted to go elsewhere. I believe they send their laundry off-site, which folds your clothes in a lazy manner. I often had to refold my laundry to prevent wrinkles. Quick service and comparable prices to other wash & fold operations, but there are better in the neighborhood. read more

It's very bad dry cleaner, they can't wash it properly. I am not happy with their stubborn attitude too. I had 2 shirts dry cleaned and never ever going back fro this rude place. Awful experience. read more

Very friendly and professional. Great for wash and fold. Offers same-day service if you drop off before 10:30pm. Wish it had longer hours though. Highly recommend. read more

Be careful - I don't think they use any laundry detergent when washing. I dropped off for a wash and fold and virtually none of my clothes came out clean. My last apartment had a washer and dryer and my clothes would come out spotless - even white t shirts. Avoid! read more

I recently moved into the area and today found my go-to laundry spot. Laundry To You staff were incredibly kind and at $1 per pound, the prices are hard to beat. Their packaging was precise and folding meticulous. And with only one set of bedsheets, their same day laundry service before 10:30am ensures I'll never have a night sleeping on a bare mattress--assuming I make it out of bed before 10:30am on the weekends... read more

I brought my laundry here as a new resident in this area. The first time my clothes did not come back clean. i gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them again. I had the same experience the second time. I brought my concerns and complaints to the management's attention. They did not care and showed no sign of wanting to keep my business. i would never go back. read more

This place is awful. They do not properly clean and have returned dry cleaning to me with stains numerous times. When confronted they take no accountability for their actions. Their cleaning and their customer service is terrible. read more

Really friendly woman who works the front desk. They always get my laundry done quickly, perfectly folded, and have never lost anything.

DONT GO HERE. They don't clean properly and have awful customer service. They have consistently ruined my clothes and they have no remorse or remedy to fix the situation. read more
