Please avoid these cleaners because the young girl who works at the front desk is incredibly rude and unpredictable. I had been using their services for years, until she started making very rude statements to me like "I treat her like I don't know her, though I know her very well" (in fact I had only met her once as I did the cleaning via pick up), asking me the prices of my clothes and other personal information about my life which I didnt want to share. Ultimately she started low key abusing me, delaying my stuff on purpose, and things came to a head when she took an outfit to alter for my birthday and then at the last moment told me if couldn't be ready in time. The repair was in process and the item was returned to me damaged. Never go here for alterations! I got 6 pairs of pants altered, and only one came back not ruined. 2 were made extremely tight, one had a giant stain that wasn't there before, one had a button broken off and made too tight, and one had had a tiny hole that is now a giant, terrible-looking patch on it. When I called back and asked for repairs or my money back, they yelled at me and hung up. She even said that I must've gotten fat in the two weeks since I dropped off my pants. I had a great first experience here! Jenny, the owner, is super nice! This was my first time trying a drop-off laundry service in the city and she was kind and answered all my questions. Make sure to mention the new customer discount though because this isn't something she brought up on her own! My clothes came back so fresh and clean, nicely folded, and nothing missing. Minimum expectations but that's all a girl really needs! She also gave me a call (as requested) once my laundry was ready. I believe it's around $10 for 7lbs and a $2 fee to separate your colors (I didn't do this, but may in the future for new items!) Overall great experience. Their free pickup and delivery service is incredible and they never have ruined any of my items. Their service is excellent and they are the only people I trust handling my laundry. I'm always scared to try a new cleaner, but I dropped off several of my favorite pieces at Quality Plus and couldn't be happier! Staff was friendly and polite, laundry was done in a timely manner. Cost is very reasonable. My dry cleaning came to $14 for my coat, $10 for my chambray oxford {due to the rhinestone beading} and $6 for my white silk blouse. The coat heavy dirt marks all over it as well as various stains, the Oxford had a large plum lipstick mark, and the blouse had some sort of liquid spilled on it. All three of them came out absolutely spotless and looking almost better than when I got them! Plus, they somehow managed to get wrinkles out of the two tops that seemed to have been there forever. The remainder of my laundry came out to $10 {a sweatshirt, a pair of jeans, and two towels}. Quality Plus not only has reasonable prices, but they also have pickup and delivery available at no additional charge. With their convenient location, this is definitely going to be my new go-to cleaners! read more

We stumbled on Quality Plus when we moved to NYC last summer and we have not looked back. They do a fantastic job with dry cleaning and wash and fold, and the prices are reasonable particularly given the quality of the service. Delivery is timely and they are also very good working with busy schedules. Finally, they are more than happy to take special instructions (e.g. hang dry or cold wash) and everything we have sent to them has come back exactly as expected. I had sworn off sending out my laundry after some very bad experiences & had been doing my laundry by hand for a long time (not super easy in my cramped apartment). After my first experience at Quality Plus, I've been converted. I had them wash some of my bedding & a comforter--the turn around was really quick, everything came back smelling, looking and feeling clean (and nothing shrunk!) Terrible service from this dry cleaners, I left a selection of clothes in for cleaning and asked they be put on a delicate wash. I presumed staff checked the labels before putting clothing into dryers . But oh no ! Instead what was given back to me on Saturday was a destroyed dress and two tops destroyed that are no longer wearable. When I queried this with staff I was told I should've checked the labels myself that the clothes could not be put into a dryer. Silly Me for thinking that staff check the labels when you leave the clothing in and explicitly ask if you want the items dry cleaned when they are a silk or chiffon material. Then instead of any kind of apology or recompense for my damaged clothes, I was informed that any damage to items is the customer's responsibility before the staff member told me she had to go hurriedly to deal with a customer. They will also offer to text you receipts, so you can keep track of the clothes they have as well as their prices, which are very reasonable. Awful. They bleached 5 of my shirts and claimed that they didn't do it. I brought in one of my shirts the next day after picking it up the night prior and they claimed that it wasn't like that yesterday. They wouldn't even offer anything for the hundreds of dollars of clothes that they completely ruined. I will not be going back to this establishment.
