Quality A Plus Dry Cleaner - Dry cleaning prices - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - New York, New York

Great service and exceptionally friendly. I am impressed not only with the cleaning services but also the attention to detail on alterations. I really appreciate having a great dry cleaner in the neighborhood. read more

Please avoid these cleaners because the young girl who works at the front desk is incredibly rude and unpredictable. I had been using their services for years, until she started making very rude statements to me like "I treat her like I don't know her, though I know her very well" (in fact I had only met her once as I did the cleaning via pick up), asking me the prices of my clothes and other personal information about my life which I didnt want to share. Ultimately she started low key abusing me, delaying my stuff on purpose, and things came to a head when she took an outfit to alter for my birthday and then at the last moment told me if couldn't be ready in time. The repair was in process and the item was returned to me damaged. While these cleaners are cheap, this girl is incredibly disorganized and I think probably dealing with serious emotional issues so I wouldn't bother interacting with her read more

You would think that for 80 dollars TWO pairs of shoes would come back clean. I called about 2 weeks ago and asked how much it would cost for a pair of shoes. I was told 17, so i went in and dropped two pairs off, and the lady said 40 and i walked out without looking at the receipt. Of course, it is my fault because i didnt look at it, but my receipt said 80 Lmao. anyways, my shoes arent even clean and the suede is ruined. Do not send your shoes here its a scam, i shouldve just cleaned them myself read more

Never go here for alterations! I got 6 pairs of pants altered, and only one came back not ruined. 2 were made extremely tight, one had a giant stain that wasn't there before, one had a button broken off and made too tight, and one had had a tiny hole that is now a giant, terrible-looking patch on it. When I called back and asked for repairs or my money back, they yelled at me and hung up. She even said that I must've gotten fat in the two weeks since I dropped off my pants. Run the other way. read more

I had a great first experience here! Jenny, the owner, is super nice! This was my first time trying a drop-off laundry service in the city and she was kind and answered all my questions. Make sure to mention the new customer discount though because this isn't something she brought up on her own! My clothes came back so fresh and clean, nicely folded, and nothing missing. Minimum expectations but that's all a girl really needs! She also gave me a call (as requested) once my laundry was ready. I believe it's around $10 for 7lbs and a $2 fee to separate your colors (I didn't do this, but may in the future for new items!) Overall great experience. Make sure to bring cash for payment! read more

It might be on the pricier side but it's so worth it. The cleaner has a quick turnaround and does a thorough job of what you need. They also have hours that accommodate New York working hours. If you need a cleaner in the East Village, this is one of the better spots to go. read more

Went here for four years when living around the corner primarily for dry cleaning suits/pants/jackets and wash/press of dress shirts. Jenny and Leon are great people and always provided great service at reasonable prices. There was only one mishap with one of my jackets in that four years and they took care of it right away. Trust that you're in good hands with these folks read more

Don't go here for alterations. Went in asked for pants to be taken in the woman on duty kept telling me my request isn't the fashion the fashion is big and go home think about it. I insisted it's what I want show her but she then shakes her head said it would be too expensive over $30 so she told me it wasn't worth doing! I ended up walking down to 12th st found a great dry cleaners who were eager for the job for $20. read more

I would stay in EV just to keep my cleaners - well priced and offering a full suite of laundry/dry-cleaning services. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me, whether I need speedy dry cleaning, alterations, or to arrange laundry pick-up when I'm leaving early or working late. Moreover, they are incredibly friendly - so trade the Pilates or an after work pint for a quick chat here. It will save you cash and calories, and I'm sure will brighten your day! Or don't! Have it all - your Pilates and pint. Then, pop in to Quality Plus for a chat, and have your fresh laundry ready to do the rat race all over again! Bottom line - these are the neighbors you hope to have, and I'd recommend them to anyone living in or moving to EV. Thank you, guys! read more

I have been using Quality Plus for the last two years and I have NEVER had a bad thing to say about them. Their free pickup and delivery service is incredible and they never have ruined any of my items. Their service is excellent and they are the only people I trust handling my laundry. They allow 5 free hang dry items every time so you don't have to worry about delicate items getting ruined! Every time they pick up/deliver my items they always have a smile on their face. I don't review places on Yelp often, but this place is worth it! Love you Quality Plus! read more

They ended up being pricier than I thought. I don't like feeling like I am being upsold on things.

I'm always scared to try a new cleaner, but I dropped off several of my favorite pieces at Quality Plus and couldn't be happier! Staff was friendly and polite, laundry was done in a timely manner. Cost is very reasonable. My dry cleaning came to $14 for my coat, $10 for my chambray oxford {due to the rhinestone beading} and $6 for my white silk blouse. The coat heavy dirt marks all over it as well as various stains, the Oxford had a large plum lipstick mark, and the blouse had some sort of liquid spilled on it. All three of them came out absolutely spotless and looking almost better than when I got them! Plus, they somehow managed to get wrinkles out of the two tops that seemed to have been there forever. The remainder of my laundry came out to $10 {a sweatshirt, a pair of jeans, and two towels}. Quality Plus not only has reasonable prices, but they also have pickup and delivery available at no additional charge. With their convenient location, this is definitely going to be my new go-to cleaners! read more

I was told one of my shirts happened to have a suspiciously shaped rip/shear on the front which I surely would have noticed while wearing. They offered to mend the shirt but the fix was very poor quality and the shirt is now essentially unwearable. Terrible experience! Would not use again! read more

They provide great and fast service! Always very pleasant and accommodating when I needed something done quickly. I would recommend to anyone looking for superior service! read more

Dry cleaning service is excellent and they do free delivery which is a plus, and late opening hours which is very convenient. The price is reasonable, a sweater costs under 5 bucks. read more

I had sworn off sending out my laundry after some very bad experiences & had been doing my laundry by hand for a long time (not super easy in my cramped apartment). After my first experience at Quality Plus, I've been converted. I had them wash some of my bedding & a comforter--the turn around was really quick, everything came back smelling, looking and feeling clean (and nothing shrunk!) They are a little bit pricy, but definitely offer some of the best service in the area and the women who work here are super nice. read more

Terrible service from this dry cleaners, I left a selection of clothes in for cleaning and asked they be put on a delicate wash. I presumed staff checked the labels before putting clothing into dryers . But oh no ! Instead what was given back to me on Saturday was a destroyed dress and two tops destroyed that are no longer wearable. When I queried this with staff I was told I should've checked the labels myself that the clothes could not be put into a dryer. Silly Me for thinking that staff check the labels when you leave the clothing in and explicitly ask if you want the items dry cleaned when they are a silk or chiffon material. Then instead of any kind of apology or recompense for my damaged clothes, I was informed that any damage to items is the customer's responsibility before the staff member told me she had to go hurriedly to deal with a customer. Be weary of using this dry cleaners Yelp users. Really poor service read more

I interned last year in this area and came upon this laundromat and I'm so happy I did!!! I have been using Quality Plus Dry Cleaner since they opened. Quality Plus provides a fantastic service for both dry cleaning and laundry. Pick-up/drop-off and tailoring services are available. They will also offer to text you receipts, so you can keep track of the clothes they have as well as their prices, which are very reasonable. The business is owned and operated by good people who are reliable and kind. I plan to continue using Quality Plus Dry Cleaner until I leave the neighborhood. I highly recommend to all. read more

Awful. They bleached 5 of my shirts and claimed that they didn't do it. I brought in one of my shirts the next day after picking it up the night prior and they claimed that it wasn't like that yesterday. They wouldn't even offer anything for the hundreds of dollars of clothes that they completely ruined. I will not be going back to this establishment. If you like your shirts, I would recommend that you do the same. read more

I've been to multiple dry cleaners in the area and this is by far the best one! They same-day dry clean items if you need them and they've gotten red wine out of my clothes (and even white converse) more than once. Very friendly staff, highly recommend! read more
