I've been coming to this laundromat for years--not by choice, but because I don't have a washer/dryer and I like running 4-5 machines at once. Functionally, it gets the job done. Mentally? This place is a test of human patience. You'll get the full spectrum of humanity here: * People who actually know how to do laundry * Grown men who clearly have never washed a single thing in their life * Folks wandering around who will absolutely pluck a shirt off your drying rack and say, "Oh sorry, I thought this was mine" Personal space basically does not exist. The place can be completely empty, and someone will still come set up right next to you or start creeping into your space while an entire row of machines sits unused. Be mindful of this, because setting up too close to you is also a very easy tactic for stealing your stuff. People have absolutely had items stolen here. I've had people try me, but I don't leave my things unattended. If someone plants themselves too close and won't move, your best bet is honestly to pick your stuff up (maybe accidentally knock over some of theirs), and relocate to the vast emptiness on the other side of the mat. Don't try to be polite about it. The machines use LaundryPop (app-based) and quarters. If you're using the app like I do, make sure it's working before you start loading machines. It's gone down on me a few times, and if I hadn't had cash on me, I would've had to pack everything up and leave mid-sort. There are two TVs, mostly pointless--but occasionally one of them has The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs playing, which is actually kind of great. I think Chopping Mall was on once. It's fun seeing who's into it and who's completely confused. Parking can suck, but at least there is a lot. Avoid lunchtime when it fills up with work trucks. The neighboring 7-Eleven and Burger King attract a lot of chaos, so keep an eye on your stuff at all times. You never really know when this place will be busy or totally empty. Roll the dice, lower your expectations, and get your laundry done. read more

I was honestly hesitant to use a laundry service because I have a lot of allergies and very specific instructions for my clothing. Long story short, my building was under construction and between that and a full-time job, I finally decided to try Laundry Pop. I haven't gone back since. Every instruction is followed perfectly, pickup and drop-off are clearly communicated, and I get those hours back every week to use however I want. I truly couldn't recommend Laundry Pop enough if you're on the fence! read more

Update : they have significantly increased prices by about 1-2 dollars a load, and encouraging payment through an app which you scan the machine to pay and start the machine. Where as a load would be 5.50. Now a smaller machine is around 5.50 which is not enough for a full size load. The medium machines are 6.50 and larger machines are closer to 10. this used to be my go to spot but I think I have to switch it up now. read more

The place was nice & clean, there was a person to help with the machines and I liked the option of either using the app or paying in quarters. The prices of the machines were a bit higher than my usual but the service was good and I liked the notifications from the app. I would definitely comeback here to wash again. I actually really love it here. The night crew is absolutely amazing and sweet. But don't come wash in the morning .... The lady who works mornings is always so rude... I've been coming here for years... I just don't understand why she has this attitude. Today I decided to finally let everyone know to be careful. This place was dope. Was is perfect? No, but probably the best normal LaundryPay in the neighborhood. First, yes there are a lot of interesting characters around the parking lot. But the people who work there are very helpful. There's an app you download, you scan a QR code with it and pay for your wash and dry. So no need to worry about cash or change. Once you're wash is going, the app will send you a notification once it's done. So feel free to bring your laptop or iPad and get some work done. It took me about 1.25 hours to get in and out. The place is pretty clean, not immaculate, but pretty clean. They have many size washers and dryers so if you have one load or 6, you can get it all done in one go. There's a 7-11 next door if you want to snack, or have a beer while you wait, there's also a Burger King if you want shitty fast food. Go get your clothes clean here. read more

I am giving an updated review from 10 months ago the facility is starting to need repair since many machines are out of order with prices going up weekly they should have the machines in working order. The customer program is really not even a benefit anymore since you can't use for washing clothes the number of points needed to dry clothes doesn't even dry your clothes. The TV's are not even on for the customers to pass the time while waiting for there laundry. I am writing this to let the owners should pay a little time to maintain their business. I will start to look elsewhere to do my laundry. I know their personal laundry is important but they should start to have more efficient labor because a lot of machines are left full of clothes and unavailable for customers who want to do their laundry. read more

I took my laundry and started to video call and in the process I dropped my phone in between some of the washing machine equipment. I was devastated and went the whole day without it but the service lady -who usually works in the morning-calmed me down and gave me the number for customer service. I explained what happened and we arranged for me to pick up my phone same night as they went above and beyond moving the heavy machinery just to give it back still in tact. The washers and dryers give you the best value and it's always clean with baskets and plenty of live plants for you to enjoy your experience. I have never had a bad experience thanks to the staff working effortlessly in making sure customers feel welcomed. read more

Music was VERY LOUD, and I asked the women who work there to do it a little quiet(I was nice to her by the way), she looked at me and parodied me!!!She didn't make the music quite!! they close at 10pm so you have to get laundry in before 9pm or they will turn you away. I came in early 9ish and people was still washing laundry but the young tired looking employee said they were close and no laundry. they should put they close at the correct t instead they said 10pm. read more

This is my favorite place to come do my laundry because I like to come early, right when they open, because I feel safe here knowing they'll lock the doors after I come in at that time. Sometimes there are crazies that hang outside in the parking lot but this place helps keep us feeling comfortable and safe by not allowing them to come in. One of the nicest laundromats I've used in LA. I live very close by and was tired of fighting my neighbors for our shared laundry space on busy weekends. This place not only has a bill changer for coins but also has an app you can load money on to pay. Depending on the type of machine you use it can be a bit pricey compared to your apartment's laundromat. I wanted everything to be done quickly and chose a washer that can accommodate 4.5 loads. It worked wonders. The space is spotless, everything from the washer and dryers to the laundry carts are so so clean. I cannot speak to being here at night as it's right off Sunset blvd so things can get crazy but I went on a Saturday morning and had a great experience. read more

Unfortunately, today was the last day I am going to be frequenting Laundry Pop. I spent over $20 today and I've been numerous times during Covid and masks were required before entering and the machines were cleaned/disinfected after each use. Apparently, that is no longer the case. I had to politely ask two people to actually put a mask ON!! I then asked the attendant why people aren't wearing masks as it clearly states it is mandatory on the front door!! I pointed out a third person not wearing a mask and she asked him to wear his. Then to boot, the attendant had her mask under her chin for a minute as she was walking around and put it up when she noticed I saw her!! This is not acceptable. I used to love the fact that the attendants would disinfect the machines after use as well. This has obviously stopped. There was a lot of dust on the front of the washers where the glass is and even though the floors were swept several times while I was there, there was no disinfecting of machines which I would've done myself if there were wipes available. I felt safe here during Covid and we are still in a pandemic!!! I left without folding all of my clothes because I just didn't feel safe. If this establishment does not care about enforcing the mask mandate, take the signs off your door. This is still in effect until February 15th!!! read more

Please, I'm begging you, stop playing loud music over a speaker 24/7. People come here to do laundry, not listen to music (or, if they want to listen to music, they can do so via personal headphones without disturbing the whole place). It also makes it really hard to concentrate if you're trying to get any work or reading done while you're waiting on your cycles to finish. This laundromat is now renamed Laundry Pop, although the sign on Sunset still says Laundry House. Other than the name, everything is the same. It's not brand-spanking-new anymore, but they have plenty of Electrolux washing machines and dryers. Use the mobile app to pay and forget about quarters. The smallest wash is a double load -/ they have up to 8-load washers! A medium size dryer is 20 minutes for $1 with additional minutes 10 cents each. Lots of room for folding, sitting; parking is decent. They have vending machines, but it's also right next to a 7-11! read more

I hadn't been to laundromat in decades, but needed to wash some large slip covers. This place is clean and easy. Arturo was helpful in guiding me to the appropriate sized washer and even offerred to put more money in my dryer, if needed. When it wasn't, he gave my change back. Laundry is never a fun chore, but this place makes it easier to handle. Large machines, friendly staff, CLEAN, adhering to all COVID protocols. I also appreciated that they had a security guard on duty. Only issue is that it's a little on the pricey side but that won't deter me from returning. read more

So far so good, I've come here twice. Best option in the neighborhood. They are clean, large and cheaper. Lots of washers and dryers, plenty of seating stools at folding counters and a bench on the East wall, and they use the Laundry Pay app, so I can check how busy it is. About $2.75 up to $7.50 depending on the size of washer. One wall of small dryers and one wall of large dryers.There's vending machines with wash supplies, drinks, and snacks and all of the laundry carts are new, so no rust so far. Staff has been friendly. Parking is free, in a small lot. I don't use fluff and fold, so I can't comment on that. read more

Look, this is a new laundromat and the machines are nice and clean. I understand we're going through a pandemic, but the way your employee handles customers is not the best choice for your business. I went in, put my clothes to wash and went to my car. Drying, same thing. When I went back to finally put my clothes in a bag (so I could fold at home) your employee, the little guy with the Napoleon Complex disorder came and requested I fold outside or at home. I let him know that I wasn't folding, I was laying out my clothes so they did not wrinkle by the time I got home. This guy hovered around me for two minutes and then flat out told me "hey! You have to get outta here!" And that I had to fold my clothes somewhere else. I tried to explain what I was doing, but he cut me off and demanded I "get the hell out". He had already told my girlfriend to leave because of the same reason.. I asked her to wait in the car. (We had two loads) Pissed off I told him to get the security if he had a problem.. which he was quick to call over. I let the security know I wasn't folding, and he explained the policy, which I understood clearly. I had finished unloading the machine at that point and left.
