Joyce's parents messed up when they named her. They should have named her Ruby because she is a true gem. It was my first time there. She got me a big cart. I had a lot of laundry to do due to the fact I'm having an extended stay in a local hotel. She made sure I understood about how to get the laundry card and how it worked. Unfortunately, I must have dropped my card and someone decided to pick it up as if it was their own. It had 30.00 on it. The only complaint is that she didn't have access to the cameras, so I wasn't able to see where I dropped it, or who picked it up. The laundromat is very clean and the machines are well maintained. They are clean and don't have a bunch of residue from the soap and softeners. They are cleaned frequently, it seemed because I also didn't see any type of mold/mildew build up in the soap dispenser. The dryers will totally dry your clothes with just 1 cycle. This is a very well maintained laundromat. You can feel confident that you are in a very clean place. Joyce is definitely the heart of this place. She takes pride in her work and definitely wants to make sure the customers feel welcomed. Zero stars if possible. Charge $1 for their card operations (meaning in order to use the machines here you have to use this card), their most economical machine is $4.75 for their cold water (the warmer the temperature of water it goes up .25. Their drying is $2.75 (overpriced) gets you 15 minutes. I had scanned my debit card on the machine (they attempted to charge me $15, while the machine said $4.75) Please consider these things before washing here. The machine should at least warn you that it is a $15 charge instead of giving you the impression its only $4.75. The machines don't offer a "fast cycle option". The only "pros" is that it's clean and they have new machines. I do not like misleading advertising, i would have been upset if they would have charged the $15 not because i don't have it, but instead because its not expected nor is that information displayed to the client. Tiny machines that say 2 wash, 3, 4 and 5 wash. The 2 starts at $4.50 for cold water and $5 for hot. Signs say insert coins but card only. Dryers are expensive as hell. They also do a $20 card hold. Great laundromat! One of the machines in my building is broken and I had too much laundry to do, plus an oversized piece. A lot of the laundromats in this area are eh, to gross. Wash on Western (WOW) is legit. Clean facility, machines that work, and the manager on duty Vaughn was incredibly helpful. As soon as I walked in he was out their welcoming me and gave a quick explanation of machines, layout, and payment. (It's worth just getting the laundromat card, even for an infrequent user like myself). Plus Vaughn shared that If you are part of a union they even give you a discount, how's that for hot labor summer? I really appreciated this place and will be back. Vaughn has me sold! read more

I was looking for an affordable fluff and fold service and found Wash On Western on Yelp and decided to give them a try. It was an incredible experience from start to finish! They are friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. I was greeted by Scott as soon as I walked in. He was so friendly and very helpful. He walked me through the fluff and fold options and got me on my way within a few minutes. When I came back the next day I again received a super friendly greeting by Scott. And on top of that, Scott personally take care of my laundry and did a fantastic job! Everything was super clean and folded neatly in my bags! First time coming here & there's definitely pros & cons. Pros: clean, good parking lot, much cheaper than paying the machines at my complex. Cons: limited number of washers. I came at an off time & even though there were only 4 others there, every single washer that was working was taken. Some people were using 4-5 washing machines at a time. I totally understand as I have come to laundromats with tons of clothes, but the part that was not cool was that bc there's no seating inside everyone was out in their cars or on their phones outside meaning that I had to wait almost 20 more minutes on top of the 20 I already waited for the machines to finish the wash bc I had to wait for people to mosey on inside & see their clothes were done & move them to the dryer. This obviously isn't managements fault or the businesses fault, but it definitely was extremely frustrating as I wasted almost an additional hour waiting for a free washer + waiting for people to come move their clothes once the washer was ready. Idk what can be done to improve that - maybe people get a notification on their phone when their wash is done? Idk, but it caused me to have to rush & push back plans by an hour which was really stressful bc I always allow extra wiggle room when I come to laundromats but this was way more than normal. So my advice is don't come if you have someplace to be, & even if you just need one washer give yourself an additional 45-60 min. Maybe I came at the one time this happened, but regardless I'll still come back! Just when I know I have the whole afternoon/evening free. read more

I hate leaving a bad review for a business, but after my experience today, i will not be going back. I've gone to this Laundromat each week for the past 2 years and the staff has always been friendly. But now when i go there is often a shady vagrant person wondering in and out of the place (there are homeless encampments just steps from the front door) that makes the whole place feel unsafe. And today someone walked in, opened the drier where my clothes were, took some out and stuffed them under his shirt. I didn't notice they were mine until he was walking out and when i confronted him he made a threatening gesture and i let him walk out - i'm not going to get beat up over some clothes - i'm not a very big guy. It's more the feeling of being robbed then the actual financial loss from the stolen clothes so i've decided to take my business elsewhere. If you're like me and not the type of person who isn't going to stand in front of the dryer and fight off people trying to steal your stuff, i would recommend you go somewhere else safer as well. read more

Cleano! Absolutely loved this place! Washing machines at my home were busted! Looked up trusty Yelp and decided to give this place a try. I liked it very much. It was clean, had tons of washers at your disposal, and an abundant amount of dryers. I was in an out in about two hours. Only had two loads to do. Yay! My wash came out spic and span. Asked the attendant if I could use something to wipe down the table. He said he would be glad to do it. The gentleman wiped my table down with a smile and said if I needed anything else. That was cool! The place is very quaint and the vending machines dispensing food are not gouging you with exorbitant prices for chips or soda. This place wants to make a customer. Now here is the draw back. It is expensive. The cheapest wash is their two load. Which will run you $3.50, if you want to wash with hot water $3.75. My clothes came out good and the machines are properly maintained. They are not stained with previous detergents used. The dryers are amazing. You will only need to dry once. Dryers work very well. I highly recommend this place if your washer is on the fritz! Oh, I forgot they also have a loyalty program. I don't know how it works. I will check it out if I do go back.
