Both attendants I have encountered are very kind and helpful! You receive $5.00 extra when you put $20.00 min on your card. The initial fee for card is $2.00. So, save your card from trip to trip! I would recommend the $2.00 drier (on the lefthand side) over the $3.00 drier (on the back wall). It was hotter and faster, in my opinion. I would prefer that the drier was free with wash, how it is at other laundromats, but this is not the case here. They have really good hours, open early to late!! I think they close at midnight, but you have to start at least an hour before closing time (around 11pm). I think they open at 6 or 7am. read more

I wanted to do laundry late at night and this place is open until midnight. Amazing services, you just need to load money into a card that they give you and that's how you pay. No more carrying around coins! The card does expire, I still had some credit left on my card and I used it again weeks later! I also had an incident where my clothes were stuck and the door didn't properly shut and the washing machine was leaking. The worker there kindly helped me.10/10 recommend! read more

My biggest problem with this besides having to pay $2 to get a pay card for the first time (coinless machines) is I didn't see anywhere on the digital displays on any of the washers and or dryers to where it says what the cost is for each machine, so it's kind of a crap shoot‍ it does tell you once you put your card on to pay, but yeah, I'd like to know beforehand!!! And last but not least, and not as important as the other ones to some, but still kind of important for me and other people with memory problems.... there is literally no numbers on any of the washers and or dryers..... I'm 54 years old I've literally never seen a laundromat that hasn't numbered any of their machines for people's easy references!!! And actually I apologize, this is my last but not least, there is no attendant here at all that I was able to find, if you do need an attendant for help for anything!!! I'm going back to my old laundromat which is a further distance but yeah it's worth it!! (Update: I selected hot for my wash cycle and the clothes came out ice cold and I saw other reviews it said no hot water here too!!! Very disappointed and I do not recommend coming here!! read more

The washers are being removed, replaced, I don't know but there's only a few that are able to use. It's been weeks and I had hoped they were updating the washers and would be a better laundromat. I'm at a pointwhere I'm going to a different laundromat. The day there was no water I was sent to the one on H St. The people here have always been very nice and helpful. I live a couple blocks away and choose to use a laundromat because it's easier for me to plan 90 minutes every 2 weeks to wash as little or much as I want. I used to go to this businesses location downtown in the Smart & Final parking lot and was happy when this very spacious spot opened up close to home. Less "riff raff" walking in from the street and plenty of room to space from others. This owner is notorious for taking months to repair broken machines or issues with hot water and for a while, his prices increased every couple months. The perk was that while the wash was pricey, you got free drying. Not anymore. Came in today, paid for the big machine which usually gives enough credit to use two dryers and found that drying is no longer free. So immediately, your costs to wash have increased $2-3. On an $11 wash, that's a 20-30% increase in a snap! Absolutely ridiculous and has me back to shopping around for where I want to do my laundry, or will just do it at home. When machines are constantly broken down and hot water will be unavailable for months, how do you overnight pass on a 20-30% increase to customers? read more

I went here for the first time the other day and was shocked at just how large this facility is. There were only two patrons inside when I first arrived, three when I left. The interior was super clean and the washers and dryers were obviously new. They have some specialty washers and dryers for washing and drying very large items such as large comforters and blankets. It was quiet inside. There are also vending machines for soap, food, and drinks for your convenience. 7-11 and Little Caesars are nearby if you want to go and grab some food and drink there while you are doing laundry. I did not know it at the time, but I met the owner while I was there. Very friendly guy. One of the patrons spoke very highly of the owner and said that he always keeps the place very clean. For being so near downtown, you'd think it's a homeless hangout, but coming to find out there not. Very well maintained and clean facility, they do have ton of washers & dryers but 1/2 of the washers are out of service. overall good place to get your laundry done. Definitely Recommend read more

This place is probably the best laundromat in Modesto but even then, it's low. The place is constantly hot, there's no ventilation. The first row of machine prices are intentionally raised compared to the ones behind so that customers in a rush unknowingly over-pay. I once asked for a paper towel or clean rag to wipe the inside of a washer, and was pointed to the the most dirtiest and dustiest looking rag atop the atm machine. If you don't pay the extra $1-$1.50 for your wash, the machines don't run your detergent or softener (Learned this from experience - You get your softener added only if you buy a prewash [gets added in first instead of last.]) During the wash, there's hardly a trace of detergent sud and your clothes smell nothing but wet fabric at the end of it. Not like the refreshing smell your money had paid for. Today I paid 14.50 for the basic wash on the largest machine they have, put my clothes in with warm water used my Tide detergent and Suavitel softener, expecting what I would expect the two to smell like at the end (Good!), but instead came out steaming, smelling like wet dog, and still stained. I gave it the benefit of a doubt up until about half way through drying, when the dryer was fogging up and my clothes began smelling worse. I decide to ask for a refund which I was told no for, only the boss can do that. So when I asked for his manager's/boss's contact, I was scowled at "Now what do you want." and "No." So I had to settle for just his name, "Tony." So, incase you do your laundry here and run into any issues, you'd better hope Tony is in the house, otherwise, none of the workers will actually be of any help to anyone at all. You'll get your clothes done quick here, but the service and the environment is bad all around. One more notable thing is you have to pay a $10-minimum to refill your laundry card, because more often than not you'll be just a dollar, or two, off the spot. In itself, it's not necessarily an issue because they give you a free $3 bonus, but sometimes it just doesn't work in our best interests. read more

This place is okay, not the best but also not the worse. They use these laundry cards that you can reload which is a whole lot better than a pocket full of coins. Another good thing is you get free credits for the dryer after using the washing machines. read more
