I had three large bags of laundry, and she checked everything in quickly and efficiently without any fuss. Great customer service is about making things easy for the customer, and that's exactly what happened here. She was helpful, professional, and got the job done with a smile. The pricing was straightforward, the process was simple, and I left feeling confident my laundry was in good hands. Excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back and would happily recommend Village Launderette to anyone looking for reliable wash-and-fold service.

I don't know what is cashmere, wool or cotton, the lady that works here is so nice. And she helps me figure it out. They have very good prices with regard to bulk sweaters and other items, which is one of the reasons I come here. Since I bargain-scoure for clothes, having to pay more to launder garb than it costs is just way too much for me to get many head around. Also, they have plenty for washers and dryer's for those people who want to do laundry on their own, but also decent prices for wash and fold for those who might be a little time constraint, or otherwise unable to figure it out on their own The lighting is circa 1970s in terms of lumens, and the buzzing fluorescents (that you probably still see in former iron curtain stores) adds to the mystique. The temperature is comfortable. The seating can be a little sparse The one thing I really like about this place is that it is conveniently located next to Dunkin' Donuts, Carvel, a deli, and the supermarket. For those people who like to multitask, it's nice to be able to do your shopping, get your laundry done, enjoy ice cream and then--after feeling pretty guilty about having the ice cream--go buy a coffee to increase your endorphin levels and not so bad about it all.

This is a self serve laundromat there are no staff or anyone to assist in the malfunctioning of the machines or redemption of your cash. They leave you alone and their machines don't disappoint but sometimes when I want to not walk as far I've come here and I have to say the short, older, blond woman who wears glasses and runs the place is RUDE and the "mechanic" is even MORE RUDE. One time I was pressed for time before heading to work and I didn't realize that the dryer I was using was not hot enough to dry my work clothes all the way. I presented the problem and how I couldn't wait to re-dry them so I asked them to refund me the money at the very least. The mechanic said he would not and then referred me to the short, older, blond woman who brushed me off and told me to speak to the mechanic. It was this back and forth that was so unnecessary for machines they should be paying more attention to and maintaining. On top of that this issue was for about $1.70 of a refund which was ridiculous to deal with. I took the refund and then asked her if I could have a thin plastic bag to put my wet clothes in so they don't wet my other load of dry clothes and could you believe she wanted to CHARGE ME $1 for the bag?? These people CLEARLY no NOTHING about retaining customers and holding themselves accountable for the overall inconvenience. Yes, they refunded me but they could have been kinder and more courteous about me not ruining my other clothes plus a dollar for that thin ass bag was too much. Will most likely have to go back there since they're close by but I really, really don't want to. Check your dryers and stay away from that lady if you have to wash there.

Top feature: they take credit cards! Most laundromats are still coin operated but this one has a card reader on every machine. Apparently by paying with credit card, you can get the 10th wash free. They also have a loyalty card for tracking the washes if you don't want to pay with credit. The machines are great. Clean, modern, and efficient. The washers have convenient upgrade features. For $0.25 each, you can add an extra rinse cycle or indicate that your clothes are heavily soiled for extra washing. Drying is $0.25 for 7 minutes. They also have a wash and fold service. I came around 5am on a Monday and there were only two other people there. I imagine it gets quite crowded on the weekends and later in the day. This will be my go-to laundromat going forward!

This place is horrible. Sending a report to the better business bureau as well. I went there for…read morethe very first time and had several bags as I had specifically wanted certain items to be washed separately. When I arrived I was barely greeted and told that she would "assist me" by suggesting that I combine the bags although they would be washed separately because there was a minimum charge of $15 for each bag that was weighed under 15 lbs. I obliged although that doesn't show in my receipt as I was still charged a $15 minimum fee. As I was combining my clothes she asked me my name and when I told her she said she knew someone with the same name that she didn't like and she proceeded to treat me as such. The attitude just never subsided from there. At the end, when I saw my bill I was a bit shocked although I knew the weight was significant I wasn't expecting to pay almost $80. When I look at my receipt I was stepped to $1/lb for one bag for same day service which I never requested. I was also charged a separation fee which was never discussed. When I asked about why the bill was so high she said something about she's the one bending her back to wash the clothes not me. I picked up my clothes the next day and everything is combined! So I paid a separation fee just for her to combine all my clothes. I wish I could give 0 stars! Shame on this business! The place is also literally the size of a small living room. Looks pretty dingy and old, things are everywhere. It looks nothing like pictured!
