It's very frustrating because you're forced to spend more money for smaller washers when the large one is not only more economical, but it's the correct size needed.

The guy working there talked me into getting it washed, too, at no extra charge to me. I accepted, paid for, and dropped it off. When I came back to pick it up, the guy took my claim ticket along with my receipt and threw them both away in the trash, pulled my jacket out of a laundry bin, and gave it to me. When I got home, I noticed that my black coat was now gray with a red tinge to it. I realize now that the coat was pre-treated with a red chemical and never washed. The chemical had a strong smell to it and made the material feel flimsy. The inside of my coat smelled like it wasn't washed yet. The zipper they used looked rusted and wasn't sewn on properly to keep out rain like the previous zipper was. I returned to the store to complain about all of this, but the small Asian lady working there wouldn't let me finish a sentence. I opted to speak to the Asian guy that took my payment for the services but the lady made a chopping motion between us, grabbed my arm, and shoved me toward the door, telling me to get out. I left and warned the customers that witnessed this that if they had any issues with their clothes being serviced, they would likely be treated just as I was, and I left. Don't go to Topps Cleaners, another Cleaner is in the same parking lot behind Burger King. That cleaner actually does good work, but not Tops Cleaners. You've been warned.

As the man got it and looked at a couple of things, he then brought it forward and placed on the stand with a hook at the side of the counter. It's final resting place before I got to take it myself. He begins looking around for I don't know what reason as the only thing left that has to be done is payment. He finds what it is he wants and it's another receipt. He proceeds to show it to me and it's clearly marked as far as an amount is concerned 60.0 (I figure that the second 0 after the decimal point just didn't print). Naturally he tells me that 'they charged me $60 for dry cleaning it', and that he had quoted me $48 plus the amount of tax. ($3.84) He adds that he was losing money because of this. I say nothing to him about it. But had $55 ready in my pocket and set it on the counter in front of him. Now I had a thought that he might possibly give me some kind of break on the final amount because of having to make 3 trips there to get this finished, or because of the length of time that repeatedly exceeded what he had been telling me. So now it was on him. He pushed a 5 back to me. It's hard for me to decide calling this either a compromise or a discount. Still, I don't figure on being a return customer.

Make sure that if you want to estimate how much you'll pay, weigh the bags beforehand. I reached back out them and they said they were not working anymore but it was family owned so they would make a call. They did and shortly after my clean laundry was returned. However the next time I attempted to book they allowed me to schedule on the app but no one ever showed up and none of my calls were answered. I tried for a good week straight before just moving on to a different company. Weird behavior I definitely would not recommend.
