This is the worst laundry service I have ever used. I continued to patronize this service until I could no longer accept their rudeness and lack of professional behavior.
This business has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It seems to be owned and managed by a bunch of incompetent baboons, with my apologies to the animal kingdom.
On one occasion, I left clothes for the laundry service and returned hours later to discover that they had not even touched my clothes. I then asked for my clothes and money back immediately. To my dismay, although I prepay (I should known better) in cash (God forbid that I do this ever again), they simply tell you it is not their policy to give refunds.
When I asked to speak with a manager, the attendant reluctantly telephoned the manager, who was not on the premises at the time. The manager stated on the phone that the only way to get my money back was by "customer service."
I was extremely upset, but because I still required clean clothes, I stayed at the laundromat trying to be reasonable but soon I learned what "customer service" meant to these buffoons: I was supposed to remain in the laundromat and wash the clothes myself, while they (this was the "customer service" part) inserted my money into the washing machine. WHAT!! I refused.
I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS. Their interpretation of "customer service" is to "allow" you to use their equipment, while they pay for the use said equipment with your money. Are these people serious?
This was the most ridiculous thing that I had ever heard in my life. These establishments (including Laundromax, LLC, located at 57 Allen Street, Springfield, MA) are owned by Laundry Capital Co., LLC, a New York-based company that also owns several locations with different names and LLCs in New England. These establishments are usually located in low income, inner-city areas, where most people can't afford to fend for themselves. I've seen people coming in cabs, by bus, or just walking to do their laundry.
Though I do not plan to return to this laundry service in the future, my last experience caused me to feel trapped. Probably if I did not had any other means to go to another establishment, I will be forced into remaining until my clothing was clean. I feel that this establishment robbed me of my money by pretending that I do my own laundry, although I paid for the service, and not offering me a refund for failing to do their job. After all, I have a receipt, and there was no indication that one would have to go through this ordeal to obtain a refund. I haven't received an apology or my money back. Now I might have to get court in order to get my money back. Can you believe that?
I would advise you to avoid this laundry service at all costs. You would be better off throwing your clothes away and purchasing new ones. read more
