I've been going to Launderland for over 12 years and enjoy the clean machines, clean environment and peaceful atmosphere . I had only 1 machine break down on me which I was compensated expediently for. The best part is the music that plays while doing laundry. some of the music which was written in Sausalito!! I and 3 people doing laundry today were saddened when told a complaint came in about the music - so no more music now As a long term resident and customer, I request the music be returned! please don't let some random stranger's complaint ruin it for the whole of the rest of us. 100/100 for this establishment read more

Dirty Machines grimy inside and smell like musty water. Mechanisms for coins old and work poorly, get stuck constantly. Frustrating to use, very narrow folding areas. Trash everywhere and dodgy people hanging around "not" doing laundry. read more

Good location right next to a little grocery where you can get an ice cream while your laundry is doing and Mikes bikes where you can peruse some bicycles you'll need to take a second mortgage out for... Second laundromat in the area that I've given a try and am again disappointed. It's filthy. Stuff all over the floors and the machines. Half of the machines are out of order and there aren't even enough machines to begin with. Extremely expensive compared to the Vallejo facilities we frequented. 10/10 don't recommend. read more

Mold in those unmaintained machines is disgusting and disrespectful to your customers, as well as a huge health hazard. Please take care of your lucrative endeavor! You can run the machines on empty cycles with white vinegar and essential oils on a regular basis. read more

Launderland has a selection of washers, ranging from regular size loads to mega load capacity. For me, it seemed a bit pricey, but for the SF area, it is probably a bargain. The woman who works there, employee or owner, I'm not sure which, is meticulous about keeping the shop clean and tidy. All the machines were in working order with no real issues or problems. The vending machines and change machines also worked every time. My clothes got cleaned and dried and i was out of there in under an hour. What else could one ask for? read more

Recently had to find a temporary alternative to my own washing machine. Launderland was my choice for wash and fold service and I could not have been more pleased. Nancy is the attendant and over two weeks has done a fabulous job for us. She is a folding star for which we are very grateful. She is also always very pleasant. Can't recommend her more highly. I began using Launderland during a home remodel, and highly recommend it. The laundrymat is located in Sausalito at Gate 6 Road & Bridgeway, near the Sausalito/Marin City exit off 101, and is open from early in the morning, until late at night--I believe they close at 11:00 pm. During the weekday until 5:00 pm, there's a lovely attendant/manager who does wash and fold service. She's really nice, and has been very helpful to me on several occasions. There's a drop off for the wash and fold laundry inside the laundrymat, so you can drop your laundry off even when the manager is gone. She cleans several times a day, so the place is always immaculate while she's there. There's a nice assortment of different size front-loading washing machines, from small, to really big, together with some older top-loading machines, and a large wall of really nice dryers. They have nice machines, that work well, and are always kept in good working order. There is also free Wi-Fi, two coin machines, and parking located right in front of the building. Launderland is located in a small shopping center, next to a mom & pop grocery store with a deli, and Bay Side Cafe. I believe it's the nicest laundrymat in the area, and I highly recommend it. read more

I just called in, I live down the street. Explained that I have a unique circumstance (pregnant and sensitive to dust) where I need to do about 8 loads of laundry. Half needs to just be dried and folded and the other half washed and folded and then I might have a few pieces of dry cleaning. Nancy who answered the phone ignored the first half of what I was calling to see if they could accommodate sometime this week and simply said "we don't do dry cleaning" and hung up on me without any other explanation. Wow, confused...so RUDE. Way to lose business on lots of loads of wash and fold service, I could have just used my regular dry cleaning, but needed this one time wash and fold for the heavy load prepping for baby. Never had the wash and fold but I do come here semi regularly to do own laundry. Parking is great. Have had issues with one person using up most of the machines - assuming they are being paid by others to do their laundry. The machines could be a little cleaner as well. However, it's convenient, well lit and safe. read more

Launderland has been re-modeled since the 2007 review. It is also under new management. The place is very clean, dryer filters are cleaned every day, and the place has a wide variety of washer sizes and two sizes of dryers. The attendant, Nancy, is the best. They do wash-and-fold now, which Nancy does. She does a wonderful job, and can turn a bottom sheet into something that resembles origami - and it actually fits in a drawer when she's done with it! I would have given 5 stars, but I can only pick up laundry between 9-5, M-F, and those are the hours I am actually at work. If I could pick up after 5:00, maybe one day a week, my life we be complete! read more
