In addition to being so dirty, the dryers do not work well AT ALL. They would automatically turn off after like 5-10 mins even if you put in an hour's worth!, so I had to stand here and add five minutes to each dryer every five minutes. And pay every time. read more

I am new to the area after moving from Vallejo and needed to find a place to take care of my laundry. I was spoiled at my previously laundromat as it was clean and has brand new Dexter machines which made life so much easier. These machines at this establishment are worn and some even broken. The card readers are an absolute joke and only work half of the time. It's crowded and not a friendly atmosphere. It's filthy. The floors are thick with a layer of dirt and there is garbage strewn about. The "sitting" area is all but too small to actually sit down and wait for your laundry to finish. It is also expensive! I want to like this place but the machines are gross, not cleaned, the floor was dirty and disgusting, half the machines said "quarters only" or out of service. Please hire a cleaning service and get an app like shine pay to use mobile apps with the machines. Also there were signs stating masks required but no one was wearing masks. read more

Terrible place. I really wish that I had read the Reviews (which I usually do) before visiting. I would have saved myself time, frustration and laundry detergent. They advertise this laundromat as one with machines that take cards and mobile payments. Did not take payment via my Apple Pay or using my physical card (and I tried a debit and credit card). This is the most disgusting laundromat I have ever been to. Wear sturdy shoes, because the floor was covered in water. Then again, it hasn't seen a mop or broom for weeks so I guess that's the most cleaning it's gonna get. There is garbage everywhere. The place claims to take credit cards, but my card failed on two of the machines. On top of that, the washers are tiny - you need to use at least a triple to wash a normal load of clothes. read more

Best laundromat in Marin. Compared to the others, this has plenty of folding tables, an upscale clientele, and two restaurants nearby (Italian or Thai). Change machines work, or use your credit card. I'd give it five stars, but I don't want it to get crowded. Then I'd have to share. read more

Very decent laundermat. All machines were working. Nice to have credit card option for payment. It's not big space and thus very crowded on Saturday afternoon. Lots of dryer sheets on floor - imagine difficult for keeping place clean without an attendant. read more

This Laundromat advertises that they are a 24/7 Laundromat but on multiple occasions I've came and they are closed. There has never been any set hours that the laundry service closes it, it's all random. They should post set hours that it will close for these services. read more

Pros: huge washing machines and dryers. Everything works. Change & detergent machine are consistently well stocked. Free wi-fi so you can get your work done while you wait, and its open 24 hours! Very convenient. Cons: yes, there are large families that come in Saturdays with unruly children. Avoid. I like to go weekday mornings when I can have the place to myself. :) as I type this, on their free wi-fi, it's Sunday morning and I'm all but alone in here. Love it. read more

I enjoy the fact this facility is open 24/7....and that I can use credit/ATM card when necessary. Usually this place is clean & there are enough tables to do folding tasks... weekends are generally very busy & day time weekdays you run the risks of having to share space with 3rd party laundry service (they tag machines w sticky notes & there's no getting around them). But if you're a night owl getting laundry done isn't a problem & cleaning staff usually show up at some point (I think they do a pretty efficient job). read more

I came here because they except credit cards but of the 19 dryers only four were taking credit cards. Not all the washers were working and most of them only took lines. A lot of the wash machines where you put your detergent had this black stuff on it. Have no idea what it is. I used a dryer which turned out to be broken. No tags to leave on machine to advise next customers not to use machine. I arrived shortly after 2:30pm on 5/17/22 and it wasn't very busy. I left at 4pm and could barely move there were so many people. I noticed people were having to wait for machines to empty before they could do their laundry. I won't come back to use. read more

So let me tell you what got me upset. I normally do laundry at 4am to miss all the people but today I had a late start and got there at 545. I sat in my car to check my emails then I noticed that the worker was going through my clothes when the machine stopped at 615. I am never coming back to the laundry mat ever. Pros- Open 24 hours They have the super duper large washing machines in the back. 9$ for the largest Security camera Usually cool magazines to read on first table. Cons 70% of the time this place is dirty with water leaking on the floor , magazines thrown on the ground, trash can full and left behind articles of clothing on top of machines or dryers. The folding tables in the middle are a real hassle because 90% of the time you are in someone's way when you are folding your laundry or trying to get to the washer or dryer. People here apparently think its okay to try to take up every single folding table that they can and spread out all their crap everywhere. There are large Mexican families that come in with their children that run all over the placed. Quite frequently the two hair shops on either side of this place come in to do their towels and take up many dryers. Can get super busy Personal experience I went there around 8 pm on a week day and there was one black couple in there talking really loud. The man goes out and stands by his Lexus which is parked by the front and lights up a FAT JOINT and smokes it. I close the front laundry door and he looks at me all crazy. Another time I went around 8 Pm and it was empty. I was taking clothes out and this weird looking guy looks in and comes in heading straight towards me like he is going to hit me up for money or something but my spouse comes in and weird guy turns around and leaves! 20 mins later a cop shows up and gets out of car and walks around area. read more

I would not normally review a laundromat, because really, who wants to go to a laundromat, but I feel I should since I used the Yelp reviews to find this one. If you do find yourself traveling or just in need of a coin laundry for whatever reason, I would say this one is pretty great. It's clean, the area is very safe, and the machines are reasonably priced. Also they do have wifi, *and* they have electrical outlets by the tables, which is huge if you are traveling and need to power up your laptop. Very relaxing experience. I come to found out they also have credit card machines! I think it's safe to say the wash tub will be my new laundromat place and I can go late into it without worry of it being closed! This will be my last trip to the "Wash Tub" 24 hour launderette. Having more laundry lately than I could handle within the home washer and seeking a 24 hour launderette I found myself shifting between Tiburon's Launderette with its out of order & rusting machines & temperamental ancient greedy coin slots to Corte Madera's Wash Tub a more popular and seemingly more newly outfitted establishment where on average the coins, at least for the washers, are accepted without too much fuss. I tolerated the fact that Wash Tub in Corte Madera was more crowded usually, that some of the machines smell like hair dye due to the two low end hair salons adjacent that undoubtedly wash their towels there and other many smaller irritations but enough was enough when today I washed at least 6 loads of laundry only to put it all in the driers to see it get dirty again within. Filth, dirt and hair from the driers was depositing on my white linens in dramatic and obvious form. First I thought it was just a problem with one drier so I re washed the bed linens in that drier (tossing out another $8 for the larger machine), then at the end of a long night I see that multiple items - maybe even the whole haul are marked with filth and one comforter in particular is so filthy, so much more filthy than it had ever been, that I had to drive straight to Tiburon's laundrette to wash it again and dry it again. Upon getting home I saw yet more items were unacceptably dirty and the whole matter made me wonder if I should rewash everything though I spent roughly $70 at WashTub. I'm disgusted by what was deposited on my fabrics. In one comforter I even found myself pulling out stranger's hair from the threads. Laundry isn't cheap anymore. 0.25 only buys 4 minutes on the drier. For these prices I expect my clothes to come out more clean than more dirty, obviously! I want my time back most of all. Well unfortunately the wash tub is probably the worst self serve laundromat I've ever been to it's always dirty there's always machines down I was there last night and the owners showed up and started vacuuming out filters on the dryers right next to me getting dust all over everything hoes in the way very dangerous and completely impeding my progress I finally just left out of frustration with much unfolded clothing witch in turn became very wrinkled inconsiderate and rude I will never ever ever do laundry at the Wash Tub again!! read more

Once again the Wash Tub turned my good mood sour when one of the dryers I was using ended up having no heat. I waited for the 25 minute cycle to discover that, so I was late for appointments. Aggravating. There were SEVEN machines down including dryers, which is about par for the course. There were four other people doing wash and everyone of them agreed with me that this is absolutely the worst laundromat in Marin, or anywhere else for all I know. I've used it for two years because of convenient location and regretted every time. I will say that when a machine rips me off for money, they always kindly reimburse. I went to The Wash Tub to wash an expensive down sleeping bag. I used the next-to-the-largest machine, which cost $7.50. It did an absolutely superb job and only took 22 minutes. I actually enjoyed watching it work -- it was extremely advanced, obviously employing state-of-the-art physics, even though it looked on the outside more or less like an ordinary washer. The sleeping bag came out almost dry, not in a crude little ball as has been my experience in the past when washing down. I simply removed it from the washer and placed it in an oversized dryer, and one hour and twenty minutes later I had a new sleeping bag. I don't give The Wash Tub the fifth star because it was not spotless and immaculate however it was entirely satisfactory for my purposes and I highly recommend it to others with a similar need. read more

My fave place was too busy so I decided to use this one. It's out of the way, so I'm thinking it might be empty. It is empty but for other reasons, I'm sure. The only other laundromat in this town is cheaper. I was like well if it takes credit, it's worth it. This internet is down. One of the larger machines is broken so after loading with linens, I had to load a different machine because it doesn't take cards. The facility is clean, but provided the vast difference of cost, quality of machines and filling promises, from other near by laundromats, I'll go to the others next time, the price is not worth it. read more

The place is C;LEAN, open 24/7 which is handy for someone who works around the clock too and travels for work or just wants to do wash when it is QUIET, very quiet. Have found FRIENDLY folks wash their clothes here. In fact, there is a couple that offer A kind voice in keep the place FUNCTIONING as if it were their own. (ie) like when folks step out for longer than anticipated time & leave their wash in the dryer while someone else is waiting. So rare today.
