Our washer and dryer were out of commission for awhile and I did not have the time to go down to the laundromat twice a week. I would rather spend that time with my family doing the things we love to do in the short amount of time we have together each week. Marin Wash and Fold popped up on Yelp and I am so glad that my washer and dryer were out of use or else I never would have found this amazing company. Easy to schedule through their app, you can state all your laundry and drying preferences and then you put out your bags of laundry to get picked up. Super easy return of the laundry and I loved that all I had to do was pull my clean clothes and sheets out of the bag and put them away. I will continue to use this company and I highly recommend Marin Wash and Fold!

Lastly, if a machine costs $4.50, $6.75, or $9.25 to operate, and the change machine is broken, it would be great if there was an option to pay with something other than quarters, that need to be inserted individually, one at a time. I only went here because the Bellam location closed, and I was told that they were the same owners. When I went to the Bellam Location (A Touch of Class), I absolutely loved dealing with Sherman. He was kind and friendly, and quality was always top-notch. At Smith Ranch Cleaners, you immediately ask yourself if you should maybe go somewhere else. The inside of the place is not clean, and the lady who works there has nasty long fingernails. I wouldn't want her to touch my clean clothes, that's for sure. She is on the chatty side, and it's hard to get out of there. She also told me that the clothing is no longer being cleaned in Marin, it's all being done in Oakland now since the plant on Bellam got shut down. After picking up my clothes, I couldn't believe my eyes. Here is what I emailed the business: --------- 1) one of my sweaters, cashmere, was hung on a very dirty hanger! A plastic hanger with tons of black grime on it. Please see picture. Because it was not the typical sticky hanger, the sweater slipped off the hanger in the parking lot and fell on the ground. Not ideal for something that was just cleaned! Since when do you use those types of hangers, and why do you use dirty hangers for customers? 2) two of my brand new dresses came back with pulled threads, see pictures 3) my brand new coat came back with white hair all over it! See picture 4) when I've brought items to you, there is always a note on the order if a stain didn't come out...I asked the lady who served me if she knew if the stains came out of my white linen pants and she wasn't sure, she said it depended on the stain...it didn't come out which is fine, but why wasn't there a note? I am so disappointed in Smith Ranch Cleaners. The worst part is really the two brand new dresses that have pulled threads. Can you help me understand what happened please? Why is the service so terrible at that location? What can we do about my damaged dresses? They weren't cheap and they were brand new. The hair is so strange too, we don't have a pet and it wasn't there before. ------- After this email in January, I didn't hear back for a week, and called. I spoke to one of the owners, Anar, who told me she would call me back in a week because she was dealing with a death in he family. I waited 3 months to give her space, and still didn't hear back. Not acceptable. I emailed again and she wrote back, and I asked her if she would be able to fix the damaged clothing, no response. Another month later I emailed again demanding a refund. She refused, only offering to try to fix the clothes. I refuse to let this business get their incapable hands on my clothing ever again. I now wasted over $100 in drycleaning charges and had two $150 dresses ruined. I will be filing a BBB complaint. I cannot believe how the owners of this business treat a loyal customer. Please take your business somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.
