They are very friendly and keep customers in a computer database to make keeping track of your items easier. I've never been so sloppy as to get a stain on my clothes that they haven't been able to get out! Also they are very quick and good on their tailoring. A friend of mine had a dress that needed a little stitching reinforcement work. I told her to go to Sunshine. She dropped the dress off at 3PM and picked it up at 6PM the same day, just in time to wear the dress to a cocktail party that evening. I didn't even have it cleaned before I wore it for fear that the silk satin fabric would be compromised. The fabric is beautiful and has held up well, yet it's still super sleek and delicate. Karl assured me that he would take a look and offer his best opinion. Right away, Karl put me at ease and let me know that they would do a delicate wash and that we would take a look at the result before considering boxing it up to the preserved. It was ready in a week and when I went to look - I couldn't have been happier with the result. The fabric was all in tact and the stains gone - even some of the ones that were from my grandmother! I wasn't even hoping for that! The dress turned out great, and I am so happy that we never had to treat it with chemicals. I definitely decided to have it preserved, and I look forward to keeping it in the family for another 70 years. And, the best thing was that the price was totally affordable. I pointed out the new stains and the damaged buttons and was told "we are not liable for button damage" and they didn't take any responsibility for the new stains. I think the worst part is, they were pretty much calling me a liar, saying the damage around the buttons was already there. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't take responsibility for the damage- going as far as saying "it was already like that". Marin Wash and Fold delivered in a pinch!…read more FAST SERVICE Our washer broke down and we had 4 loads to wash. They picked up our clothes and retuning it wash and neatly folded with in 2 days! THE COST We got $20 off as a first time customer. Total bill for 4 bags of laundry was $125.44. We got $20 off on the first time customer discount. See attached invoice. It was about $2.25 per pound which is not bad compared to other wash and folds. ADDITIONAL BAG COST They returned our clean and folded laundry in reusable zipper bags. A cost of $12 for 2 bags. These bags have a clear pocket with our info for how we want to wash and fold our clothes for future pick ups. Our laundry bags were returned stuffed inside of the new bags FOLDED AND NICELY PACKED They returned our closed washed and neatly folded and delivered back with reusable laundry bags with zippers. Highly recommend them if you ever feel overwhelmed and don't have time to do your laundry! We will use them again!
