We had a major delay on our Washer/Dryer delivery when moving to a new home. I needed to find the closest laundry place and Sunshine Laundry was it. Little did I know that it would be the cleanest, friendliest, most helpful, and easiest to use laundromat I have been to. Here is why I didn't mind going to this laundromat: 1. Wendy the owner got to know me and was extremely helpful on my first visit 2. No more coins! You can use your phone to pay and track your washer/dryer end times. 3. Entire place is very clean 4. All the customers are polite and respectful of each others space 5. The person who does mending is great 6. Wash and press is a reasonable price and has a fairly fast turn around We have our own washer and dryer now, but I will definitely keep visiting to wash comforters and to use their excellent dry cleaning services! read more

I just have to say, I was so pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this laundromat and the friendly service. I used to go in when my washing machine broke down but now that it is fixed I use them for all my dry cleaning. They even pick up and deliver! Five stars all the way. read more

Today was tough. They don't take ATM or Any Credit Card without seeking the 3 CVC digits on the back side of your/my credit card first. Had to pay in cash today as I feel it's a bridge too far to be handing over such personal information off my ATM. Not sure it's legal either. Theri dry cleaning is done in San Francisco. Not on the property, which can be a little unnerving. read more

I wanted to wash my queen size comforter and regrettably our home washer / dryer is too small. I needed a larger, commercial alternative. Unfortunately, a lot of public laundromats can feel a bit dirty and for lack of a better word - icky and gross. As a result, I searched for awhile on Yelp to find a good one - and honestly, Sunshine did not disappoint. It was small, cute & clean! And amazingly, hi-tech. I handled my wash and dry using Apple Pay. So smart. Glad I found them - they're not super close to me but worth the drive. read more

I washed 2 gigantic loads of laundry at home only to realize our dryer's heating element had gone belly up. I'm like, CRAP, I have to take my heavy wet clothes to a laundromat now! I hadn't been to a laundromat since college, a million + years ago. Luckily, the day before I had read on Nextdoor about how awesome Sunshine Laundromat is in Sausalito. The staff needs to be more organized when receiving clothes for dry cleaning, which are not thoroughly cleaned or cared for, and received clothes two times with spots that were discussed and are removable but missed during the cleaning. This situation put me behind schedule as I was counting on these items for a conference. I have a reason for coming back and also because of the owner, Wendy, and the staff, who once seemed to be friendly people. When I requested the possibility of pressing my clothes inside out (because of the pressed lines on darker clothes), it seemed fair to ask if this was an option. The staff could have been more attentive and seemed like she cared or was listening. I asked the team if Wendy, the owner, could give me a call. I had Wendy on text before dropping the clothes, and no response, but rather suddenly, she wrote a harsh and short email that my business was not welcome there anymore. It is a clean location on the outside, but it could be more professional when managing their business and working with customers who have had a bad experience. I am, too, a business owner; I have worked with unhappy customers, as it is my job to ensure they have clear communication and a positive experience. read more

This is the cleanest, tidiest, nicest laundromat I've ever seen. It happens to be a block from my house and the staff is fantastic. They accept items to be sent to a cleaners and the pricing is great. No doubt, hands down, the best laundromat ever. It literally sparkles. No waiting for machines. They are all clean (as is every inch of the space). I love the app to pay for and set the machines. If you want to go old school, you can use quarters. It is such a good experience that it didn't surprise me when I looked at the books to read while waiting for my laundry, and they included travel guides, cookbooks, fun novels and kids' books. Dropped by here to do laundry since we accidentally didn't pack enough clothes for our vacation. Location is very relaxed and clean. Machines look like they could be new. Wendy is super helpful and kind. She walked us through all the machines and everything. There's a coin exchange machine as well as an app to pay. When it comes to self-serve laundry, nobody does it better than Sunshine. Amazingly fast machines that get your clothes super clean and speedy dryers will have you out the door in no time. When I moved to town I started to look for a laundromat and found this place. I completely trust Wendy and her staff and they always do a great job. I am very picky about my laundry and these girls customize every job on point. When I feel like doing my laundry by myself it's also a pleasure cause the place is clean and the staff is always up for a nice chat.
