I cannot believe the customer service that i just received. I haven't been in a while due to work hours and deaths in my family ... but I have been going to this cleaners since junior high I am now 52 and I take everything to the cleaners so I spend a lot I normally write what I put in because I put my husband and my clothes in and I am forgetful ... Today when I walked in I was genuinely happy to see her because I haven't been there in a while Today she was acting strange ... I normally place my clothes neatly on the counter to make sure what I put in and write it down , she was snatching stuff so fast , just irritated ... ok fine no problem When I got to my car I noticed some different items on the actual receipt , so i went back in to verify for the sake of me being forgetful , and that is when the most unbelievable transaction happened she started making crazy accusations that I am accusing her of losing clothes .. which is absolutely ridiculous I've NEVER accused her of such things , I started to explain it's me not her when she started throwing my clothes across the counter , when I found that I was picking up stuff off of the ground ... I then told her you NEVER ever have to worry about me any more ... this is the same woman that hugged me every time she seen me ... how rude and disrespectful I don't know if someone else said something out of line to her and she was still upset , but I am hurt and stunned that this transpired today I would never give my money and or pay for a service when I am disrespected and spoken to in such a rude manner, no matter how long I've been going Bad behavior, unacceptable throwing my clothes and refused to listen to reason Good Bye! read more

Quick and efficient! The lady that's always here is so nice! The dog might bark at you but if he's unfamiliar with you but he's tied up but other than that I haven't seen him try to bite anyone. Great neighborhood business to support. If I need anything to be dry cleaned this is the spot I go to. This is the worst place ever!! I brought in nine fitted niners hats and they looked worse then they did when I brought them in. I said dry cleaning only!! The put them in a washing machine and had the nerve to leave lint on the hats and bills wet and lied and said they dry cleaned them. I don't really go to dry cleaners but this is the reason why . I took a very expensive black Hoodie to get dry cleaned there . And when I got it back it was EXTREMELY FADED. And this was a brand new hoody that didn't have any significant stains. I took it just to get cleaned so it wouldn't fade in the washer at home. I took a lot of clothes and I gave my size to the old lady so that she could proceed to do her job then I proceeded and asked her how much was the waist price she answered me that 12 dollars and then I put her to the test to see if she had an abusive personality: after she answered that it would be 12 dollars to sew the waist, i later asked her how much it would be to lose weight in the leg part of the pants and I told her that if she could give me a discount or that I would give her something of sufficient value for her to collect the part that I would not pay The scoundrel told me that she would do it for free I immediately decided to put her sewing skills to the test. wear 1 jean pants and one chino pants and one smart dress pants the denim and the chino came out fatal I confirmed that I wanted a 29 waist and she left me the 2 pants, the chino and the denim at 31 I patiently decided to put it to the test this time wearing my custom-tailored pants from a suit that costs around a few thousand dollars like 2 thousand or a thousand dollars /100% wool NOT POLYESTER OR NOTHING SYNTHETIC Well, I asked her how much it would cost for the waist and leg and she answered no, because the pants are too long First of all the pants were size 33 It would be okay if she would've said that if the pants were 38 inches Secondly, her job is to sew. For a seamstress, advising her clients can do well, but in this case I already knew the trouser sizes well and I know what a trouser goes by Product of the tips that are on the internet / they are all different but they follow the same patterns in the sense that it is not a matter of hours to sew a pants the reverend scoundrel gave me the pants and undercooked first of all It had a very poorly cooked clamp type in the rear part that looked bad then i pulled the pants seam to see if the seam was strong proceeded to exert a force like when you want to tear a garment like a shirt I regulated her because of the result and she told me not to play with her probably she thought I was insulting her she throws me a phrase:take your pants to a saddler's shop then i she proceeded to go to the dress room, a very tight dressing room by the way, in that period she proceeds to go to a hairdresser that is about 10 seconds away on foot For the fourth time, the old scoundrel is accompanied by two human-beings aged 19-24. The first boy told me that the old scoundrel wanted me to leave her business. I proceeded to leave dressing room but before i had to change myself first of all, i exited and looked my god's giving image, and i noticed a secound person was behind my back. This makes me think that If I were demanding from the old scoundrel in an escalation of anger on my part, things would have been different. I warn you: For your mental well-being, do not make a person of "THESE" principles handle your belongings with such patience. During my visit to that post, I asked her a sneaky question The woman who was in charge of the place. I saw she had a pack of 17 to 35 haphazardly embedded receipts I PROCEED to ask her if that was the job she had done all day. She responded with an discord mood and told me in-some 2 to 3 words..that she obviously didn't care about their customers clothing and later told me to come often so she could earn more money..Prototype of Bait from her to Her Customer. I went in to get two dresses altered, which was a big mistake. For the first dress (made of polyester and spandex), I wanted her to take the straps in because it was too long. She got it done in 4 days, and I made the mistake of assuming she knew what she was doing so I didn't look at the dress before leaving. When I got home, the alteration job was the worst I've ever seen. The thread was turquoise even though the dress was green, the stitches weren't straight, thread was hanging out everywhere, and the hem wasn't even straight... I'll let the pictures speak for itself. The worst thing about it was that the straps were folded and sewed. She didn't even cut the extra fabric off and when I went back to ask her why it wasn't cut, she said it would ruin the dress. Uhhh.. What's the point of getting a dress altered if you don't cut the fabric and NEWSFLASH you already ruined my dress!!! The second dress was not a formal dress.. It was just a cotton maxi dress and I needed the straps taken in as well. This alteration job was horrible as well. She used beige thread on a blue dress.. You seriously don't own blue thread?? I brought the ruined dress to Great American Cleaners in El Cerrito, and they completely transformed the dress despite how ruined it was. If there is negative stars, I will definitely do the NEGATIVE 5 stars! My husband had 3 pieces for alterations. Initially he was told it is okay to pick up same day, which made him so happy, since he'd need it for his work next day. But when he got there and picked up, the pair of pants were done; the two jackets were half done, only shortened no buttons sewed. The lady there said she couldn't find the buttons and can have it done the next day and my husband agreed. Since my husband had to work so he asked me to pick it up. I got there at 4 pm and the lady told me it won't be ready until 5pm. I wasn't happy but I didn't say anything and left. When the second time back there, she handed me the two jackets , of course I'm going to check how the works done. As the photos I attached, the buttons are sewed not aligned and overlapping. Guess what even more ? There is NO BUTTON HOLES! She just simply sewed the buttons on sleeves. I showed to her, she was very rude and said "no one complaints!". I explained to her, "I'm here to pick up. I just want to make sure all the work has done right." She said, "If you want a better job, go to tailors not alterations!" I'm very unhappy about her attitude. As a customer I felt like being treated as shit. So I asked her why is she so rude. Then she twisted the situation and blamed me on everything. It did not end well. She even cursed at me. I can't believe someone running a business like this! On the store window it says Dry Clean / Alteration One Hour. If she couldn't find the button, maybe she can call. If she can't sew well, she doesn't have to do alterations. If she can't have a nice attitude to customers, she should close the door and retire ! I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AND WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! read more

I needed my bridal shower dress hemmed since it was way too long even with heels on so I initially went to another cleaners down the street and they wanted to charge me $45 for a single thin layer with just a few inches that needed to be cut off so I decided not to go through with it. Then I drove past this place and remembered that a friend of mine is a regular here so I decided to give it a shot. I was greeted immediately as I walked in then I showed her the dress and priced me for $25. Cool! There's a tiny spot at the very front of the store next to the large window which is the dressing room, more like a corner. There are curtains but I feel like with one wrong move, the entire San Pablo Avenue will get a free peepshow! The woman who I assume is the owner was such a sweetheart and so was her adorable dog, Gomi (sorry if I misspelled). When I picked up my dress, she recognized me and I'm sure the shy doggy did too. Paid for my dress and after examining it very quickly, I thought the stitching she did at the very bottom of it is better than when I first bought the dress before the alteration. I've been coming here for years but today will be my last day! A couple of months back I had my bridesmaid dress altered in which it was emerald green however she used blue thread. After showing her a picture of how I wanted it to hang she did not do the alterations properly & when I mentioned it she seemed irritated. I offered to go get the right color thread & actually brought it back after buying it myself but for whatever reason she did not want to use it. Since the dress did not hang as it should have she took some thread out in which it left small holes in the dress. She complained about the work she needed to do in order for me to be satisfied but the end result was still disappointing being that I've been coming to her for over 15 years. However I still went back only to get a blazer cleaned. Before leaving it with her I asked if she would be able to get the makeup out, she said yes. When I went to pick it up the makeup was still visible but also with other stains that was not there in the beginning, so I took it back to her. Today I went to pick up my white blazer that was only worn once, it is no longer white but off white & the stains are still there. I love this place. I get all my alterations here. She recognized me every time I come in. Always does a great job on my alterations from shirts to jeans. Upon pick up, she is more than willing to make changes, if your clothing isn't the exact way you want it. All alterations are done there, unlike some places that send them out. Cheaper is not always worth it. My wife had alterations done and dry cleaning on several traditional indian dresses that had embroidary and beads on it. I picked up the dresses and my wife took a look when we got home and the majority of them were ruined!! Beads were missing and many coming off and the stitching was coming off where the hem work was done. My wife took the items back the very next day and the owner claimed she never worked on these dresses and told my wife to leave her property. She put her attack dog on her to chase her out. Worst experience ever !! Shouldn't even deserve one star. Went over and paid 30 dollars to get my prom dress altered and picked it up super long and it was like she never cut it at all. I was tripping on my dress all night for prom. The next day i go back asking for a refund and she starts yelling saying no ill do it over! Cheaper is not always better , I took a very expensive suit for simple alterations. This woman totally ruined the suit, for some reason when we took the suit back she started pulling the hem from the pants as if I was going to wear the suit and get a refund thinking I was trying to get over on her .I wouldn't have worn the suit to mow the lawn, she was so busy cutting the hem out she even cut a hole in the pants.
