On 07/08/26 I traveled 245mi from Eastern Oregon to test ride a very specific motorcycle. Due to my…read morestature there were only two motorcycles within a 50 mile radius of each other that would really fit me well and had all the features I needed on it. When I got to Harper Motorsports the staff was incredibly nice. The staff was also eager to answer any questions I had and wanted to accommodate anything I needed. I did decide to go ahead and buy the motorcycle I had originally come to see. The staff was absolutely wonderful and insightful with the financing process. Harper Motorsports was also very translucent about their as is policy unused vehicles and or motorcycles. Agreeing to this. I signed all the paperwork, financed the motorcycle and went on my way. I live 245 mi away. So about 100 mi into my journey home. I noticed that there was oil leaking on my motorcycle boots. The suspension on the front of the bike did start to alter mildly. Because of the time of day that this all transpired. It was becoming dark and I still had another 150 mi before I was going to be home. Instead of turning back or calling the dealership. I just went ahead and headed for home. The next day when I got up I inspected the bike and found there were a couple of issues with leaky oil. For one. There was a motor oil leak that none of us were aware of at the dealership. There was also very significant oil leakage from the fork sills on the motorcycle. That day I reached out to Jared from Harper Motorsports and alerted him of the issue. Although the bike was sold as is, he was instantly very concerned and admitted it was an oversight on their behalf that their mechanic must have missed it. Even though the bike was sold as is, Jared said for me to go ahead and check out what I needed to get checked out and get back to him. I took the bike to a mechanic and it did have an oil leak and it needed some fork seal and forks components replaced. At the time when I was communicating with the mechanic and Jared, it's important to note that he was traveling abroad celebrating an anniversary with his wife, but he still took the time to communicate with me while he was overseas. Once I got all the details back from the mechanic I shared that information with Jared and he did Express that he would get back to me when he got back to the States. Although the bike was sold as is. Jared said they recognize that they didn't realize how bad of a problem there was with the bike and even I didn't notice it there, but they wanted to make it right and that their family core values and reputation are very important to them. Harper Motorsports kept me a check for a very significant amount of money when they didn't have to to help cover repairs and the trouble and time I would be out of having a motorcycle. I must say this is very unusual and it's not likely to occur often, but they went above and beyond to help me and it is so greatly appreciated. I can't express what a wonderful family business and terrific service this company has. I highly recommend to family and friends. If you're looking for a dealership that has integrity and core values, I suggest that you try out Harper Motorsports. They went above and beyond. I can't thank them enough.

I'd had a number of parts that needed to be ordered along with some technical mechanical work to be done, Long story short - these guys had the bike only 4 days including a 2 day weekend, called me and said my bike is ready to be picked up. I was flabbergasted. If anyone rides a motorcycle one thing you'll quickly learn is that if you need the bike dealer serviced it can often take weeks!!! Not only was the service done promptly it was done very professionally. The staff I deal with, Kevin, service manager, Joey and Shawn at the front desks are incredibly professional, courteous and just plain nice men. Robin the KTM tech is excellent. He's meticulous about his work and is well trained. I know he's been to all the proper KTM schools so I have no concern with him doing anything to my bike that needs to be done, In addition he checks things over and finds things that needed tightening or adjusting. All in all I can't say enough about this shop.

Generally speaking, when I am at the store/shop, everyone is friendly and professional. On the phone, the service techs have provided what I perceive to be good advice. So, it's not that the facility isn't nice, or the staff isn't friendly. It is, and they are. I *want* to like them, but in person - they just seem to fall short. As these guys do have the reputation for being a solid business (maybe based on sales and not service?) I will continue to use them when necessary. They just need better follow-through. I'll be happy to change my mind and update this review if and when they do.

Dealer operates in a way that they "show you a good price" and keep marking it down. Then they get…read morethe salespeople to say phrases like "we're not making any money on this deal, its below Wholesale" "This is marked down so far, we're actually losing money!" Only to wait until you get approved through the financing lock in your deposit and use a Buy & Sell on interest rate method. You might get approved for a lower rate, but they won't tell you and try and markup the interest rate on the back end. 2% to 4%. Meanwhile they'll tell you what a great rate they you got. Once your Deposit is locked in, they will use it as an extortion tool to force you to move forward or forfeit. It has nothing to do with holding the vehicle before "someone else buys it" - False scarcity mindset tactic. Also fear of loss of method. Additionally, they will also use extremely unethical high-pressure tactics to force you into an extended warranty for your coach. Even if you Decline it 4 times, they keep dropping the price of the warranty to give you a "Great Deal" on the warranty and show you service records of how much this will cost you if you don't do it creating a forced fear tactic and feeling on win closing tool. If you're someone that doesn't like games don't stop at this dealership. Also; Don't use their financing, go to your own bank or credit union before moving forward with their purchase or giving them a dollar. You'll get a better rate, no backend 1990s haggling sales methods. If you ask what the rates on they will say "only way to know is get approved, they have so many factors" - No just call you bank and ask for a Current Rate Sheet. Go into your bank, credit union whoever and ask for a Current Rate Sheet with the Tier'd credit on it and compare it to the rates the dealership is offering. Clearly this company is all about marking up the points on financing and making as much money as possible on the warranty meanwhile promising you they're family owned and they'll do the best they can. They probably also have a substantial dealer hold back on the price or get a manufacturer rebate. Don't believe the "We're losing money on this" tactics. There is no money made on the front end; Everything is made on the back-end financing room of these coaches. Tools needed when shopping coaches; Compare units to local shops RV Trader or Facebook Market the Exact model/Features. I am very disappointed in the service I received from this shop. Initially I bought handlebars…read morefrom them and found them to be friendly and informative. So, when I took my bike in with questions about my clutch and it needing carburetor adjustments, I was told I needed my steering head bearings replaced and that nothing with the clutch was needing to be fixed. So, for the sake of safety, I made an appointment. Now, I made this appointment a month in advance to ensure I would be able to get my bike fixed efficiently. I also said to replace the valve cover gasket since it was leaking. I dropped off my bike on July 6 and the bike was not ready until August 8. I was forced to sign something that stated vintage bikes could take longer, but I had no idea it meant over a month! When I had taken my bike to a different shop, they had the service done the same day. I thought that was the whole point in making an appointment to begin with. Also, I had to be the one to contact them for updates. The only time I heard from them was to inform me that I would have to pay additional money for a part that they broke by torquing it too much. And, the part would be used since it was no longer carried. This alone made me very unhappy, but I wanted my bike back. I told them if there was any other service to be done, please do it since I did not want to wait another month if I ever brought it back in. However, when I went to pick up my bike, they only had fixed the steering head bearings and rather than the original $200 I was quoted, I was forced to pay $400! I do not understand why they take any more customers if they are so overloaded (tons of bikes are always lined up out front). I also am incensed that they recommended I have carburetor adjustments done, the FT Master Cylinder rebuilt, and the valve cover gasket replaced when these were things I was told didn't need to be done or would be done too. This is some of the worst service I have ever had in the mechanical history of my cars, mopeds, and motorcycles. I do not plan to return nor do I think others should give them business. I feel ripped off and do not feel like this business is operating with good ethics or integrity. On top of it, when I voiced my dissatisfaction, I was smiled at in return. I do not think this is a funny situation and hope others do not fall for the long winded rhetoric they give.
