Lo and behold, we were right! The vibe here is very speakeasy, so if that's your vibe, you'll love it here. If you think Prohibition was the best thing that ever happened to this country, well, you probably wouldn't come to a distillery anyway and wouldn't have much to say about the joint. But in addition to that, the items available were interesting and the staff was incredibly friendly, with multiple offers to sample something before making a purchase and giving us some background on some of the wares. We went with an upcycled candle made from one of their bottles, and a bottle of gin, for our gin-swilling dogsitters. I hope the enjoy it and if they do, we'll be back for more!

And now I have the perfect one. Found this little Vegas gem randomly in the magazine in my hotel and figured it was worth the 30min trip to try it out. Booked a tour with Master Distiller Johnny, and from the moment I arrived, they took great care of me. The tour was fun and informative. I know a good amount about distilling whiskey, but they talked about their specific processes and the unique attributes of distilling in the hot desert. After the tour, I spent some time in the awesome tap room. Old School vibe to it, with food that rivals the restaurants on the strip, bartenders who are friendly and make a killer cocktail, and just a great place to chat with folks at the bar and hang out for a quiet evening. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in town. It's well worth the trip. Don't forget to pick up a couple of bottles; they even stock bottle protectors for you to get them home safely (like all 3 of mine did).

I stayed in a room that hasn't been recently upgraded (according to the JR who checked me in), but wow...it was a rather nice room! There's a lot of space to move around, a coffee maker, medium size fridge, hair dryer, a pretty decent size tv, comfy bed, great water pressure/temperature, and the ac works really well (I had concerns because it's an old school temperature slide gauge). I highly recommend staying here and what's really nice, is the south side of the casino is actually QUIET! You don't get the Fremont Street noise until the early morning hours! There's a lot of old slots for nostalgia (including Silver Strike) and new games. Also, I'm sure you saw from other reviews, NO RESORT FEES!!!!!!

It was a bit pricey but well worth the money since it included a 3-course meal. Upon entering the Grand Celebration, we were greeted by the crew and seated at our table. A guy was playing live music, which made the ambience romantic and festive. The tour is approximately 2 hours and cruises through the Colorado River at sunset. Taking in the views and just enjoying our night together made it that much more special. Plus, we were seated with a couple who were celebrating their 40th anniversary. The captain announced all the celebrations and honored everyone, which caused everyone to cheer and just embrace the night. Definitely a great memory of our trip. Our food was pretty yummy too. We opted for the prime rib, and the portion was so huge and unexpected. The potatoes were delicious and seasoned with perfection. I really enjoyed that my table was adorned with a birthday card from the crew, and they also brought me out a birthday cake to end the night. If you are in Laughlin, I highly recommend booking a dinner cruise. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying time with your loved ones, you will have a great night that you will be talking about for a few weeks.

The staff is very friendly and happy to have you. There is salad and water waiting when you arrive and they have the keepers of alcohol standing by and ready!! The food didn't take long and was really well done. The salmon was huge and I ate up every flavorful bite! They have a top deck with tables and chairs and a man playing live music. The view is great and the boat didn't rock too much. My only complaint was that the dessert took forever, BUT when it was time to leave they had my drink in a to go cup so I forgave them.

The Meads were a lot of fun, very fruit and spice flavor forward. They get the honey from flagstaff, the one traditional mead was great. There were a few Pyments, which are Mead/Wine hybrids which makes a ton of sense here as they have the fresh fruit available! The double Black Cherry Vanilla Pyment was my favorite out of the bunch. Also really enjoyed the Them Apples, Tropical and both Pumpkin Spiced Meads. The tasting room is fun and inviting, lots of local art and crafty Kingman and Wine themed souvenirs. The owner gave us a quick tour of the fermentation area and told us quite a bit about their process, the area and future plans. We had such a good time that we want to plan another trip back to try the wines and take a bit more time. Plenty of bottled meads ready to go, we grabbed a few black cherry, mango and Them Apples to go, Fantastic Experience! Definitely worth planning a stop here on your next trip through Kingman.

We met several times over a 7 month period to prepare our wine. We'd make a party out of it each time. We each brought a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share. They have an area set up with tables for us to place it all. They provided us with wine glasses and pitchers of water. The staff is so knowledgeable about wine production and they did a great job explaining the process to us on each visit. On this particular visit, our wine was complete, so we were all part of the assembly line that got to bottle it up. We each took a case of wine home. Now I have 12 bottles of delicious wine to continue enjoying!

About three tastings in (we don't really drink) we needed to add some carbs to the party so we checked out the food menu. $10 for a small pizza, not bad at all. The pizza is made in the oven right there and smells so good! I think we spent two or more hours at Vegas Valley Winery and enjoyed every minute. Easy and quick to book online and received confirmation emails after booking as well as a reminder email from Bob. Michael, our tour guide, did a fabulous job with our tour. He provided a little bit of background history on each place we visited as well as some history regarding Kingman!
