Wonderful experience, did great woth out gluten free diet. I think there could be a better dessert than just ice cream and no bread. It would be great to have a little more of a spcial evening woth our food. It was still amazing and great. I recommend 1000% it was romantic and breathtaking. read more

Such an amazing experience and a plus because it was my birthday. After looking for things to do in Laughlin, my fiancé reserved a dinner cruise through Laughlin River Tours. It was a bit pricey but well worth the money since it included a 3-course meal. Upon entering the Grand Celebration, we were greeted by the crew and seated at our table. A guy was playing live music, which made the ambience romantic and festive. The tour is approximately 2 hours and cruises through the Colorado River at sunset. Taking in the views and just enjoying our night together made it that much more special. Plus, we were seated with a couple who were celebrating their 40th anniversary. The captain announced all the celebrations and honored everyone, which caused everyone to cheer and just embrace the night. Definitely a great memory of our trip. Our food was pretty yummy too. We opted for the prime rib, and the portion was so huge and unexpected. The potatoes were delicious and seasoned with perfection. I really enjoyed that my table was adorned with a birthday card from the crew, and they also brought me out a birthday cake to end the night. If you are in Laughlin, I highly recommend booking a dinner cruise. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying time with your loved ones, you will have a great night that you will be talking about for a few weeks. read more

Laughlin River Tours - A Relaxing Way to Spend a Couple of Hours We took the 2 1/2-hour afternoon cruise with Laughlin River Tours up and down the Colorado River, and overall, it was a nice, relaxing way to break up the monotony of the day--and all the gambling and whatnot. The boat has a lower level that is air-conditioned with basically bench-style group seating. There are nice views along both sides of the river, and it's fun watching the jet skis cruising up and down the water. There's also an upper deck, but we didn't spend any time up there because, on a hot Laughlin day, it was just way too hot. They have cocktails and a selection of light food items. We ordered the chips and salsa and the nachos. To be honest, the chips were basically bagged tortilla chips, and while the salsa wasn't bad, but it tasted like it came from a jar. The same goes for the nachos--they were okay, but nothing special. The prices are about what you'd expect: I believe the nachos were $12.99 and the chips and salsa were $4.99. We also had a couple of piña coladas. They were doubles, but honestly, I don't think I tasted much alcohol in them. Still, it was fun having a drink while cruising down the river. This is definitely something the whole family can enjoy. There were families on the boat with everyone from young children to elderly seniors. The staff was very attentive and did a good job getting everyone's food and drinks out in a quick and timely manner. The boat also has a couple of bathrooms. They are single-occupancy bathrooms, open to everyone, and they were clean and well maintained. The 2 1/2-hour afternoon cruise is $25 per person, which I think is a pretty reasonable price for the experience. They also offer an evening dinner cruise, which I believe is around $80 per person. After trying the food on the afternoon cruise, though, I'd be a little skeptical about what to expect from the dinner. Still, the cruise itself is enjoyable. It's a great way to just kick back, relax and slow down for a couple of hours. Sometimes it's nice to get away from the casino and just sit back and watch the world go by. As the song says, "I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round." One thing to know: They do not allow outside food or drinks onto the boat. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing change of pace while you're in Laughlin. Just go for the river cruise and the experience--not the food. read more

Honestly wasn't sure what to think about this but it was amazing! The captain greets you himself and announces all of the wonderful celebrations that brought everyone on board. The staff is very friendly and happy to have you. There is salad and water waiting when you arrive and they have the keepers of alcohol standing by and ready!! The food didn't take long and was really well done. The salmon was huge and I ate up every flavorful bite! They have a top deck with tables and chairs and a man playing live music. The view is great and the boat didn't rock too much. My only complaint was that the dessert took forever, BUT when it was time to leave they had my drink in a to go cup so I forgave them. read more

$22.00 each for a 2.5 hour ride. Loading starts 30 minutes before you're scheduled to leave. If it's hot out there's an air conditioner on the bottom level and the top level is all open. A glass of wine was $7.00 and a glass of water $1.00 no outside food or drinks available. It was a beautiful ride with a recorded history of the area- the speaker was very loud. Definitely worth the experience once; but I wouldn't go again. read more

Food was decent but the service was very slow. Instead of serving the table (party together) people were served by the item. Lobster came out 20-30 before the chicken. up graded deserts were served last. Everyone had left to go upstairs except the person ordering the upgraded desert leaving only 3 of the 16 in parry to sing happy birthday. Very very disappointed in that fact. The birthday or special occasion guest should be served first or simultaneously with their guest. They had kitchen doors open to guest and you can see the flying bugs all over the kitchen . The boat was covered in some kind of fly/morh. They need to invest in bug repellent and ultrasonic repellent. read more

The River Dinner cruise was an amazing experience. There was nine of us dinning on board for a friends birthday party, the staff and crew were friendly, attentive and really made the party memorable. The bartender made some awesome drinks and the live music added a nice touch to the evening. The food was superb, my wife's and I prime rib dinner were cook to perfection ( medium rare) with seasoned veggies and potatoes, it went well with both my Old Fashion drinks...lol It can get buggy on the upper decks, but that's Mother Nature for you, it's still a very enjoyable setting as the boat cruise up and down the river .. Will definitely do this again next time we come to Laughlin read more

Friendly staff, very nice boat, smooth ride, nice bathrooms, great prime rib and lobster, fun live music, and overall a great two hour sunset ride up and down (in a loop) on the beautiful Colorado River literally on the Arizona Nevada state line. It was a relaxing fun trip. Great bar, too, with a wonderful selection of drinks. Steep steps to the boat from the entrance, with a broken elevator. So, no wheelchairs or walkers until they repair the elevator. Permanent sturdy signage stating that it's broken suggests to me that it's been broken for an extended period. read more

Hubby and I picked the dinner cruise while we were staying in Laughlin. It was wonderful. My husband is in a wheelchair but they had an elevator to get him down to the boarding ramp. We paid a bit extra and had prime rib, which was wonderful. Every crew member was friendly and as helpful as possible. We had a great time. read more

Well, I'm a bit bummed by no comps or discount on players cards.... well sh9uld ai say there is a discount if you have a card but you better be sure and advocate, cause they won't ask. I have taken the tour several times. Love it! This is my first time in the new boat. LOVE the bar and menu options. The staff is super friendly. Sound quality it mich improved. I got the bucket drink. Pretty good! The bugs are on another level, watch out! But I love this river, love the tour, even if it was crap I would give 5 stars. Take a tour, get educated, $19 you will burn that in 5 minvin the casino. I love the tour, love the history, love the boat ride. Love that the price is low. I'll sit for 30min in full A/C with a bar. 12:30 and 2:30 when we went. See ya again soon celebration. read more

Second time doing this tour. We did the narrated tour since we had the teenage nephew and niece with us. We took our tour on a Friday at 2:30. Was in the area around 2pm and they let us in shortly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is upstairs. The have about 8 chairs per table sections and it's first come first serve type of deal. They have menus on the table. If you scan the QR code on the physical menu, you can check out there daily specials. (Usually alcoholic beverages) A server comes around and takes your order if you choose to have a drink or food or both. Portions are small but reasonable. You can hardly feel the boat moving when it's on the tour so you shouldn't be prone to motion sickness. The inside is air conditioned and there are restrooms inside if needed. The boat is clean and the narrated tour is very informative. It's a fun little tour to enjoy the afternoon on the river. Overall we enjoyed our time on this tour. read more

My wife and I enjoyed the Dinner Cruise aboard the Grand Celebration. The cruise and the dinner lasted 2 hours. Most of the cruise was in daylight. The weather was perfect. The food service was prompt. The food was a little salty for our tastes. We had the Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmesan. Both were large portions. The Chicken Parmesan had more flavor then the Chicken Marsala. read more

This was a surprisingly awesome dinner cruise. It was classy, the food was in abundance and delicious. I had the prime rib and it was fabulous. Kudos to the chefs. There was live music, and he was very good. We had never been to Laughlin, so we didn't know what to expect. We cruised slowly up & down the Colorado river and we just loved the whole experience. Don't miss it if you are ever in Laughlin. read more

For $20, this is a nice little tour of the Laughlin riverfront. It doesn't go far--just back and forth in front of the hotels--but it does offer a lot of interesting history about Laughlin. We ordered some snacks, which were just okay, but the margaritas were disappointing--flavorless and not enjoyable. I instantly regretted ordering them. The service was fine, though not particularly friendly. However, I did appreciate the staff helping with my mom's wheelchair. Overall, it's worth it for the history and views, but skip the margaritas. read more

It really only stays in front of the handful of hotels and you learn about the settling of the casinos. It felt more like a sales pitch than a tour. I was expecting nature. They have a sister company that does a tour down river. Nice people and great staff. Nice boat, for the price.. it is ok. Air was blasting in lower area way too cold. read more

Excellent dinner and relaxing cruise. Music was great. Wish we could have "cruised" longer!!!

We had a wonderful time.Food was great and my husband thinks you for his nice birthday cake.

I was in town with my family over Memorial Day weekend and wanted to do something different while enjoying the water and outdoors. I came across Laughlin River Tours and it looked like the perfect opportunity for some fun and fresh air and decided on the 1 1/2 hour river tour. There was five of us in our group including two children 9 years old and just over a year. We purchased our tickets online and it was super easy. Our tickets said to get to the dock a little early so we jumped on the water taxi from Harrah's and arrived in plenty of time. We got there a little early, which was good so we could be one of the first in line and pick our desired seats. Once boarding began, we went up to the top deck and picked a table with a great view. The top deck is open air but is also covered so that you don't get too much sun directly on you, it was quite nice! Once seated, we were immediately greeted by the staff and were able to order drinks and food. Service was great throughout the entire tour and we were promptly taken care of with every need. We ordered the Nachos with Brisket and the Brisket Sliders along with some refreshments. Everything came out quickly and although we didn't have too much expectations for the food...we were quite surprised and everything was delicious! To be honest, the food we had on the Laughlin River Tour was better than most food we had at various locations along the river at hotel restaurants! The boat has a kitchen on board with full staff where you can see them preparing all the food as ordered. It also has restrooms on board as well that were clean and fully serviceable. All in all this was a great tour and my whole family had a blast out on the river, we will definitely do it again and highly recommend it if you are looking to do something different, relax a bit and enjoy the fresh air! read more

We were celebrating a birthday and decided to take the Sunset Dinner Cruise. The service was wonderful. They had a list of guests and took us in by party. The tables were set up individually with each guest. They had a birthday greeting for us at our table. We were surprised at how well they had the tables set. Very elegant and 1st class. The dinner was presented nicely and the staff was great. We had Chicken Marsala and Salmon. Both came with vegetables. Honestly, I believe they were frozen, not fresh. The rice was really good! While the food was good, it could have been better. They served us a piece of cake for dessert that was pleasantly unexpected. The captain was pretty funny and easy to like. Unfortunately, a storm came in and we were unable to cruise the river. Then the generators went out for a bit. The entertainment upstairs was not able to start until 7:46, so that was a bit disappointing since the cruise was from 6-8, but things happen. He did stay 30 minutes so that was nice and the cool breeze was beautiful. Despite the unexpected, we still had a wonderful time. Truthfully, had the food been better I would have given five stars. I would absolutely go again! read more

Had the best time! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved it, will do it again.

Sunset dinner cruise left something to be desired. We had the prime rib and it was not cooked as ordered. I asked for medium rare. The center was close, but the edge (which is my favorite part) was inedible to me...overcooked. The potatoes were pretty good. Rolls were not very good. Although the food wasn't great, the music, boat, and staff were great. Fabulous live musician...he was the best part. Cover songs, but still made his own in a great way. Really enjoyed sitting on top portion of boat, watching the water/scenery, listening to his music. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, for the cost, the food should've been better. It was also a bit too early in evening to really enjoy the sunset. read more

My mom had salmon option that we asked to be prepared without any dairy and it was prepared the right way . It came with vegetables and rice and was delicious. Chicken Marsala was good too. Portions are big we glad we didn't add anything extra because only my husband was able to eat the whole meal lol, the rest of us couldn't finish it because of the size.but we gladly took the rest to go. We didn't know what to expect. But the reviews were mostly good. The river tour, itself, wasn't really a tour. Sure they had a pre-recorded narration playing, but you couldn't really hear it. The ride was fairly smooth and for the kids, wife and my in-laws, the lower deck, with AC and tables for dining was just right. There's a bathroom on board, too. The party crowd was on the upper deck, which had a sun shade, but was hot, nonetheless, on this 111°F day. If you're looking for a change of venue that is kinda fun for the kids, this might fit the bill. The mostly snack food was good, as were the drinks. I hear that the main draw is the dinner cruise which we might try another time. My 3 year old absolutely devoured his cheese pizza and hot fudge sundae, ditto for my 6 year old. My wife and I liked the cowboy nachos and the bucket of Modelo beers went down smoothly. My father-in-law's margaritas and my mother in law's strawberry daquiri were good, according to them. Don't expect a newer boat or updated decor. Expect a chill experience, decent food and a really nice crew and you'll expect a nice 90 minutes on the river. read more
